Found an assortment of used and vintage wool LL Bean sweaters. Lots of bad reviews on here for this location but I had a great experience. There were also some new LL Bean boots priced at $30 and I found an almost new Columbia winter puffer coat for $15. See you in a week

A great non-typical Goodwill store with good selection of individual and store donations. This location is very clean and organized with name brands for sale as well. They have good sales on Sunday and Mondays. They have a 20% discount for veterans on Tuesdays. There is a great selection of clothing organized in sizes. There is a good selection of books. Not much furniture. There is plenty of parking but to he main entrance is in the rear. The front is just for dropping off items. There are restrooms available as well.

The employees were so rude. I have never been treated with such lack of basic decency and customer service in a goodwill store, ever. Three different employees ignored me when I asked where to find different sections of the store,(this was my first trip to goodwill in Brunswick) and at the end of it, the check out lady was short and inconsiderate. She didn't bother to put my items in the bags I bought, which she so inconsiderately stacked glass cups on tops of and walked away for me to deal with. I should have turned around and walked out when the first lady rudely told me to move out of her way with a clothing rack.(If you're an employee seeing this, work on your manners and the way that you associate with people. I was already having a bad day and now I want to crawl into bed and cry, thanks for that)

Phenomenal variety of items. Great store organization and zoning. Best Goodwill I've seen. Store has many things you never knew you loved. Great variety of used electronics and movies/music. I have bought many vintage gaming pieces and games for astounding prices. The 50% off color barb scheme seems quite rigged, but sometimes you can capitalize. Before corona it was much better organized and stocked, but since then inflow of goods has decreased so it is understandable. They aren't doing enough to limit the spread of corona. People walking around with no masks, touching everything and not respecting distancing.

I’m speechless. Today I thought I'd ask about a couple of bags of dolls that were priced at $100.I thought it was a typo and they meant to price them at $10. I asked a sale associate who even thought that it was priced to high if I could ask who does pricing. So someone named Tom said he sells on eBay for the store and these bags are worth at least $400. He told me he’s been selling on goodwill and that he knows how pricing works and I don’t. The assistant manager Betty told me the lowest she could go was $80 and that Tom knew what he was talking about regarding pricing. I live in southern Maine United States and after that experience I will not being going back to that goodwill.

Between lazy managers who use every excuse possible to avoid accountability while they're having costume parties in the back, and cashiers with severe attitude problems, I'd highly recommend going anywhere before ever stepping foot in this poorly managed facility.

Conveniently located in cooks corner. Plenty of parking and easy access in and out of the store. It has a drive through drop off which is nice.I do have a generalized concern with Goodwill Industries overall concept and plans. They have spent a boat load of money purchasing land and building these type of structures and it seems to me that there profits are going towards development when it should be going towards serving the underprivileged or those in need. The prices are way too high compared to the old Salvation Army or even Walmart. Keeping in mind that you don't have to wash the clothes you buy at Walmart before you can wear them, and most items are cheaper at Walmart, (and they are new). You can find the occasional deal item, like a cheap bread mixer or some odd ball dinner plates, but the clothing is somewhat expensive, especially if you are looking for a name brand...as those items will be marked up 2 or 3 times.Overall I'm not sure that Goodwill is worth a trip, you would be better off shopping at a second hand store (like Lots for Tots in Falmouth, Freeport Community Services or a consignment store in Brunswick, like Estilo or New Beginnings). The clothes are cleaner and the items are overall in better condition than you will find at Goodwill at a comparable price. You should always check out Walmart's roll back or clearance first as they generally beat Goodwill's prices for new vs well used.I'm assuming that Goodwill's prices are high to support their expanding infrastructure as, from what I hear, they don't pay their workers very much over minimum wage...thus creating their own cliental. Seems like Goodwill has lost their way and no longer subscribes to their stated goals.

Prices are abhorrent, it's crazy they can get these things for free and flip it for nothing, it's a shame because the clerks are decent people, but it's got terribly priced items.

A bit pricey but big store with lots of selection. Good hours, open all the time.

Most items are overpriced. It's sad. What you're left with is shelves full of stuff priced way too high because everyone already picked through the stuff that was worth buying (hardly anything). Worth checking every couple months, sure, but I typically leave empty-handed.

I love hitting up this Goodwill when I'm in the area, as it's one of the nicest around. Big and usually full of good items when I shop. If you have time to really look through everything, you can find some great things. I typically shop in women's clothing, kids' books, and home decor. I never leave without finding something! Their sales are great, too! Certain tag colors each week can range from 50% off, $1 each, or Stuff a Bag Mondays. I went this past Monday and noticed the Stuff a Bag went from $10 to $15, but it's still a great deal! Clean store and lovely staff.

Great prices and great customer service. Not too many things that make me think "Who would buy this?" and I personally love shopping there. A clean store and big fitting rooms. The place has a bathroom. There are a wide variety of things to buy and on some days great sales. I definitely recommend this place.

Why are jeans now starting at $10? I'm seeing blazers go for $20. Goodwill was supposed to be a place for low income folk to buy affordable clothing. Not anymore.

$4.99 for a coffee cup...let that sink in. Everything in this specific location is tremendously overpriced; as someone who is new to the area and looking for cheap work shirts I was astounded. $10 for one button up long sleeve top....never coming back to this place, give people a break.

Goodwill is Pretty Good if you're on a budget and want to discover for fun. It has books, movies, toys, and more. The only thing is that some days, you don't find as much but other than that, great place, nice employees, and it can be fun to look at because it's all a surprise

Prices are high, just ridiculous, and they are putting a lot of junk out on the floor. Dirty, broken items. Really sad and disappointing. We have found a couple things that were worth buying, but not much. My husband doesn't even want to go back.

Goodwill at Cook's Corner in Maine was a good experience. It was steady but not so crowded I felt like I was in anyone's way. The changing room I was in was clean! The store was picked up and organized. The employees were kind. I have the Goodwill Card so get discounts. They carry new products and beds too, this always surprises me. It is a good second-hand store.

Decent enough selection, employees can be unfriendly and apathetic towards customers— not that you can blame them, seeing how understaffed the place is and how poorly they're compensated (seriously, Goodwill: being a nonprofit doesn't mean you get to exploit your own people mercilessly. Give them a living wage for a tough job instead of minimum). Big box type environment. Don't come here if you're in a rush: there's usually only one register open and if you need assistance on the floor, best of luck to you—even under the best of circumstances, it's going to be a wait. You can find some gems on the racks, if you've got the time to go through carefully and you come at the right time.

Found a great variety of name brand clothing for amazing prices. Athletic wear was fully stocked in all sizes. Staff was friendly, but you could tell they were stressed.

This location is relatively new. I often go here if I want to find cheap children's books. I've also had moderate success finding CDs and craft items as well. The store is clean and mostly organized, making shopping there easier.

This store is fair with helpful staff who are willing to give a discount if something has a stain or tear. I’ve found a few awesome things here. That being said, coming here so often, does anyone else notice goodwill has higher prices in the past 5-6 years? Like another reviewer said, I also went to Walmart for a few shirts instead as they were three dollars cheaper each. It made me feel bad because I want to support their cause and believe in recycling clothing. It could be a bit more organized, but I understand the employees are busy recovering donated items and I have seen them doing their best. It is harder work than one would expect.

Its such a shame when you feel like you can't even afford Goodwill. They need to change the name to "Profiting From The Poor". What's the CEO having for dinner tonight? $10 for a pair of pants that have been donated? $6 for a shirt? I saw a dress for $20.

This place has very easy drop off at one end and entrance in the back. Lots of good finds at reasonable prices.

Way too expensive for me. Most clothing starts at $6 and goes up from there. They do have the discount color of the day, but it's near impossible to find anything good.I would only go there for decor not clothes. If I can get a new item on sale for $10 why waste time at Goodwill

This store would try to sell a bag of dirt for $50. The markups are ridiculous. Would not recommend going here if you are looking for good prices.Other than the pricing (and one bad employee experience), I don’t mind this goodwill. It is a very open space. Not too crowded. A pretty good selection of items.

I’ve been to goodwill all over the state and I’ve never seen such mark ups on every produce in my life!!!!! Selling shirts and coats for over $50!!! With tags ripped or cut off!! This goodwill is a scam, like I’ve never seen. And when you ask to see the overly priced produce you get yelled at..”that jacket is $150” ha. sucha shame. Not how goodwill should be, seems to be a third party that got involved.. def will be skipping this store for awhile.

Ok Goodwill. Found a couple of great name brand items. But it is alittle pricey for jeans that are not in very good shape. 10 bucks is to high for jeans that are stretched out. Sorry

Karen “Karen” Bart

Like most goodwills in Maine... it use to be a good place to go to stretch a dollar. Specially helpful for family on a tight budget. Not any more..In many cases you can find the same items without the holes, stains and not worn out for less in a regular retail store for less. With 6 kids , I used to leave with cartfulls of items and still be able to stay in budget... now more often then not I leave empty handed only to go to walmart to buy a t-shirt for half the goodwill priceThe goodwill auction website is just as bad if not worse considering the shipping costs. And why ask me if I want to round up my total at the register to support the programs? Isnt that what my purchase is doing to begin with? All that being said.. this particular store in cooks corner is very clean.. well laid out and the folks are very nice, friendly and helpful!!
