Driving down Maine street on our way out of Brunswick ME we happen to spot Frosty’s Donut Shop out of the corner of our eye. Knowing you should never pass up the chance to enjoy a donut from some place “new-to-you”, we immediately rerouted and headed back to give them a try.We knew something was up when we saw the seating area was full and there were about 7-8 people in line. The line moved quickly though and before we knew it, we were placing our order.They were out of cinnamon rolls which bummed me out but there were many other options so it was no big deal.There were four of us and we purchased a twisted glazed roll covered in cinnamon sugar (suggested by the cashier, who also happened to be the owner), a maple cake (my favorite), a pumpkin spice, a chocolate coconut, a frosted chocolate, a Bavarian cream, and a glazed donut.We are from Springfield MO and have a donut shop there called St. George’s, that has been serving up the best donuts ever, since 1971. Today we discovered an equally good donut shop. All i can say is Wow, those were some of the best donuts we’ve ever eaten.Frosty’s cake donuts were super moist and the different icings/toppings were delicious. The yeast donuts were light and fresh. We scarfed down every last crumb and could have eaten more but they were running out of donuts. Just as soon as we had placed our order, people started pouring in and the line swelled to about 15 people. It never went down from that point on. Every time someone left another person would come get in line. They are that good.We were so impressed we even bought souvenir t-shirts. All four of us! We give Frosty’s a five star review. If you are visiting Brunswick ME make sure you get by Frosty’s for a donut.

The got to, best of all time FROSTY'S! I ordered 3 dozen donuts, two twists, and a microbrew with wheels! Really upset I didn't grab a tee shirt while I was there, but I will be back some Friday, Saturday, or Sunday between 6-2!

Love this donut shop. The donuts are fantastic, the service was great, the house made cream cheese blends were delightful. Overall amazing place with great food. Donuts are good, but nothing unique. The coffee, on the other hand, is really good! We arrived at 9am for some donuts, and this shop was nearly all sold out! They only had coconut covered chocolate donuts and coconut covered regular donuts remaining. They were tasty, but didn't "wow" us. I would love to go back to try different varieties of their donuts!

Got charged 20+ dollars for a frozen drink (priced at 5.50 on the menu) and two donuts. Along with that, children were speaking really loudly and the line was very long. I've been to Frostys about 5 times and this is the first time the bill was that high. I did not argue the price as I did not want to cause problems during a busy time, but I will not be returning.Kid-friendliness: Lots of really loud and obnoxious children around when I come in. The restaurant is definitely a more family focused establishment.

Folks, a MUST visit if you’re in town. We hit the pumpkin spice flavored donut offerings which were yummy! They don’t skimp on glazes. Prices very reasonable and service was excellent! Enjoy!!

If you're looking for a place to satisfy your sweet tooth, look no further than Frosty's. I miss the Gardiner location but this one in Brunswick is awesome! ( I think it's the original?) This place has the best donuts in town, hands down. They are fresh, fluffy, and full of flavor. You can choose from a variety of toppings and fillings, and the best part is, they are affordable and generous and the coffee is perfect. Trust me, you won't regret it. this is the ultimate destination for donut lovers

Frosty's donuts are hand made every morning. They're fresh, (some warm), a little crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just the way a donut should be. Perfect! The cinnamon rolls were delicious and oh my, huge! You can build your own donut, pick out what toppings you want on them, etc. They have a couple different coffees and syrups.

I just moved back to the area after being in NJ for 7 and a half years. So happy I made Frosty's a first stop. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. Really happy that they service Wicked Joe coffee. Of course my kids loved the donuts. Already want to go back tomorrow.

Delicious homemade donuts, not like the large chains. Iced coffee was a bit acidic, needed cream to quench. Nitro coffee, espresso drinks & new decor has dressed it up quite a bit

What is there to say? It's Frostys donuts, if you haven't been, GO! They sell out for a reason. There's a line out the door for a reason. Personally, I'd recommend the twist.

Frosty’s is amazing. Their maple glazed donut is to die for (as is everything else). We’ve had donuts in a lot of states…hands down, some of the best. Try to get there early as they do run out of some of the best flavors! We’ve never been disappointed. Friendly service and yummy coffee as well. Oh, and bagels this morning smelled great!

My mom grew up in Brunswick and left when she was 18 (she’s 85 now). Every year our family returned to Brunswick to visit our grandparents until 1986 when my grandpa passed away. My grandpa wound get fresh Frosty’s Donuts several mornings while we were there. My husband and I, along with my sister and her husband, visited Frosty’s Donuts this past week after 36 years!! It brought back such great memories!! We were so excited about tasting those delicious donuts! We were able to meet the new owner, we called him Mr. Frosty, and he was such a super guy. We really enjoyed talking to him and hearing his story with Frosty’s. My family and I all agreed that these are the best donuts we have ever eaten, especially the twist donuts. This is such a charming place and you will not be disappointed in their delicious donuts!!

Great donuts and even better service. Couldn’t connect via phone on Friday to place an order for Saturday pickup so sent an email. They saw it Saturday morning after baking their chocolate donuts so they baked off some additional just for us. They were ready for pickup right on time. Incredible, and great attitudes on a very busy day. The best.

Once you have tasted a Frosty’s twist it is inevitable that it will become the standard by which all other donuts will be judged. Offer me 1,000 toppings, 100 filling options, potato donuts, add your own iteration at any other shop. So far no other donut at any other shop has held up to scrutiny when compared to the twist. All the other donuts here are very good depending on your taste, but if you don’t have a twist you have not had the full experience. It’s also the friendliest most welcoming donut shop I’ve been to. Frosty’s is one of the places that makes Brunswick fun and we salute you.

This place is just.. amazing. I went down to the shop with some buddies, and I wanted to get a lemon jelly donut. But there were none on the shelf, so the owner beckoned me over, so I could fill my own lemon jelly donut!!! It was such a good experience and that dude is the actual goat. It’s such a good vibe at that store, and I will definitely come every time i get the chance to.
