The Rooting Pig at Broad Arrow Farm is one of my absolute favorite spots to eat and drink! The staff is so friendly and attentive! The food is so freaking good. Every dish I've tried has truly knocked my socks off. Fresh, local, flavourful, unique, I could go on! Also, great selection of local beers! I can't recommend going here enough, it's amazing (:

We love stopping by the Rooting Pig! The menu is creative and makes great use of local foods. We typically share a couple of appetizers and one of the BAF sandwiches. It's a wonderful spot to sit outdoors at picnic tables on the lawn overlooking the meadow on a sunny day. Often there are families with small children playing, visiting the pigs, etc. Really just a nice spot to visit, shop and eat.

When I saw this place had a perfect 5 stars I was not surprised one bit!We arrived early and with our pup. They were very accommodating and friendly.We ordered the deviled eggs which are a MUST as they are the most delicious deviled eggs I’ve ever had. You can also walk around the farm to see the sunflowers or the pigs! Will be recommending this place!

Easy 5 stars. They do an awesome job. Rooting pig is a home run every time. Store/ Market offerings always on point. Very unique vibe as well. Not going to find anything quite like it in close proximity. Staff is professional and knowledgeable. Owners/ their entire family are great! Couldn’t recommend more whether if you are visiting, summer, or local.

Great place to grab a meal or provisions. Many of their own products (try the Portuguese hunters sausage or fennel salami) & mostly Maine provisions from beer to cheese to pork to spices to wines.Outdoor tables/bar with charcuterie boards & other dishes (the mission figs with a red wine reduction & goat cheese were to drive for)

We visited today with family and friends on Sunday and had an absolutely fantastic time! Incredible farm and the owners and staff were amazing and so accommodating! We had the best charcuterie board and several appetizers, beer and wine. We also took a walk to see the baby pigs and chickens. Fantastic spot and experience a must see in the area!

This place is absolutely delicious. You are in the middle of a field, not expecting much. We ordered one plate, to try, and we were pleasantly surprised. We ended up ordering most of the things on their menu. This is a delightful stop and if you are looking for a delicious place to stop in south maine, even though its out of the way…. This place is worth the drive.

We went on a Wed for charcuterie o’clock at 4pm on a gorgeous Wed summer day. The large charcuterie board was packed with tasty, salty, creamy nibbles. The meat selection and cheese selection was beautifully balanced with a smattering of almonds, olives and cornichon pickles. The toasted ‘ndjua bread option was gobbled up moments after it was delivered to our umbrella-shaded table that overlooks the farm. Nice beer choices and the fruity, perfectly chilled Lambrusco were the pairings that made everything just right. The setting was perfect for our no-effort picnic.

I highly recommend Broad Arrow Farm! My family and I came here on a recent, sunny Saturday afternoon. We ordered a large charcuterie board, a couple small plates, and a few hot dogs from the hot dog pop-up to share, and we ate every last bite. The calabrese sausage, artichokes, and Carolina dog were my faves, but everything was truly amazing. They have a great selection of beer, wine, and cider as well. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, and the outdoor, farm vibes with scenic views were just lovely. This will become a must-do on our family trips to mid-coast Maine! I suggest you make it one of yours too!

Wonderful shop with amazing pork! So flavorful, and the staff is really great at custom cutting what you need. They also have some tasty frozen meals: the beef and mushroom pie is SO GOOD. Highly recommend making the trip.

Broad Arrow is an absolute gem. Their meat from animals raised and butchered on-site is excellent and reasonably priced. Their selection of other high quality snacks and produce - beer, cheese, fruit preserves, etc - is carefully chosen and unique in Bristol. The people are also lovely.

New expanded space! Great craft beer selection, loads of fresh butcher cut meats, new prepared foods to go! They told me they will be expanding even more options throughout spring and into summer as well. Very excited for it.
