I had an unpleasant experience with a cashier on Wednesday the 21st. I said hello, the cashier did not respond and in fact did not speak to me the entire time he was ringing me up. Did not state the total absolutely nothing. It wasn't until my groceries were bagged and there was a begrudgingly given have a nice day. We pay too damn much money for groceries to be treated this badly by an employee.

When they deliver their flyer for the week and then you go to purchase the product they don't have them on the shelves or you ask about it and they say they don't have any available at this time. Especially 2 days before Christmas I was going to get the products and even the coolers were bare but like I said when something else is on sale that week they don't have any.

Huge store, huge selections especially in produce. Fresh and very clean, quick and cheerful employees and I was so happy to see more cashiers than WalMart ever has on registers. My fav Hannaford so far.

I lived in the area for 20 years. This Hannaford is one of better ones. The selection is good and the staff is usually helpful and friendly. The reason for the 4 stars is because they are a large corporation and have done a few things over the years... that weren't very cool. I may or may not get into the details at a later date.

I really like being able to afford orange juice concentrate and hamburgers on english muffins for less than $10 a day. I get the broccoli too and sometimes brown rice for good fiber.

Thank you Hannaford for not hurrying me even though I was the last customer to leave the store. You were wonderful to be patient and wait for me to finish my shopping. Sorry to have been such a bother and made the very nice young man a bit late to cash up and get ready to go home. Hannaford you have great employees. Thank you for your many years of serving the community of Brewer, Maine.

The employees are friendly and courteous. The store are always very clean and organized. I never see merchandise or boxes on the floor unattended. I love to do my shopping here and recommend this Supermarket to all my friends and neighbors.

INEDIBLE PRODUCE.Haven't been able to eat the baby bok choy in over six months, because not only are their eggs, but they are infested with bugs. Same for the broccoli, asparagus is a mess, even if the mixed greens are not to expiration, there are slimy leaves...what happened to quality control?!

This place used to be my go-to for just about everything, now they've expanded the "seasonal/holiday" aisle to an entire aisle and the actual groceries - it's supposed to be a grocery store, not nik-naks and cheap toys - groceries such as paper goods have shrunk dramatically and theyve discontinued brand-named items to force you to buy they're Hannaford brand. I think we are smart enough to choose for ourselves. 3 stars!

Decent layout in a very busy area. They have almost everything you need for grocery shopping, But the aisles are inconsistent with what you are looking for.

Associates need training. Time after time, they do not pay attention to detail, especially with produce or herbs. They see one word and grab the closest resemblance. Please train your people...I'm sure they are great employees, they just need some assistance. You offer the service

I had a really good conversation about Minecraft today with the guy checking me out. It was lots of fun. I wish I knew his name so he could get credit. But, Hannaford is always top notch and I love the people that work there. Best prices and the best service.

Always an excellent selection and bakery, produce, meat, and fish depts. Are well stocked, very clean, and always offers several sale items.
