Everything about our little getaway on Roam was just perfect. Rihanna is an amazing host, the boat is just like the pictures and the lake is glorious. We took our kayaks and explored. I really recommend it.Noteworthy details: The peace on the lake is delightful. Just the recipe to unwind😀

I got married here this month, and I can't imagine a more beautiful setting for our weekend wedding. At first I was nervous things would be too rustic, but Otyokwa actually has great facilities and everyone loved it. The cabins are cozy and well appointed, and the "Rec Hall" made for a perfect setting for our dinner and dancing. You also couldn't ask for a better venue coordinator than Rheanna - she gets 10 stars! If you're looking for an intimate wedding (or family reunion, etc) site where you and your close friends and family can really enjoy time together in the beauty of nature, Otyokwa is the perfect setting.

Our daughter just got married at this incredible place yesterday, 9/17/22. Everything from the grounds, to cabins, farm house, lake and even boat ride were fantastic. We will have years of precious memories to come. Also, since it's a place to house many people, we can bring the entire clan including in-laws to vacation here at this magnificent area. The best part about our stay at this hidden gem is Rheanna, the live in care taker and boat captain who is so kind and gracious to meet every need! We can't wait to come back here as it was a dream come true to have the best wedding ceremony and reception ever! This will definitely be a generation gathering place for our families!

A special piece of land, lightly updated, but timeless. A destination for those seeking respite with loved ones from a busy world. We found Cabin 4 to be a cozy getaway and according to the sleep tracker on my watch, I had the best night sleep ever recorded. The bed was VERY comfortable.Rooms: The rooms (I can only speak for Cabin 4) are extremely cozy and outfitted with just what you need and nothing more which is perfect for getting away from it all.Safety: The camp is so far back from the road that safety never once crossed my mind.

I loved my weekend at Otyokwa Cabins! The accommodations were fantastic, like how I imagined summer camp but with comfortable beds and nice amenities. This would be the perfect place for a family reunion or wedding or any gathering of people who enjoy hiking, swimming, and coastal Maine. I couldn't recommend more!!

We spent a lovely evening at The Farmhouse with family and friends. The cozy and comfortable living room was the perfect place to watch the Super Bowl. The house is decorated with photos that depict the history of the property. So cool. The huge kitchen was perfect for gathering to prepare food. You have to check out the massive farm sink with the vintage faucets!

This place is a hidden gem. It's like stepping back in time when life was simpler. The cabins all have a lake view and were so cozy. The bed was very comfortable with nice linens. The lake was clean and refreshing with chairs on the sandy beach and many loons were present. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The house boats looked so inviting. We will definitely go back!

Peace and tranquillity abound at Otyokwa. It’s essential Maine, but so luxurious. Rheanna is an amazing host, seeing to everything we could want with amazing recommendations and so accommodating. The boats are stunning, the cabins are cozy and well appointed. We will be back!

Had a beautiful winter day at Otyokwa! Our group of about 12 spent the day on frozen Pemaquid Pond playing on the ice and making a big heart shaped hole that some of us seasoned coldwater dippers could bob around in!The setting of the cabins overlooking the frozen lake makes me very excited to be back in the warmer months for a longer stay. Major thanks to Rheanna for entertaining our wild idea and for making the day super easy and very enjoyable!

This place is an absolute treasure. It's as if someone froze it in time 50 years ago ... with the exception of upgrading the electricity and adding a bath house. It is like a trip back to a simpler, more beautiful time. Staying here, you can absolutely imagine what it would have been like to be a young camper in the woods of Maine. The camp is at the end of a long road. We never heard the sound of a passing vehicle or even an airplane. The view of the lake is so peaceful, especially while sitting around the well-arranged fire pit area. The cabins are simple but comfortable, with cozy, warm bedding. The trip to the bathhouse in the middle of a chilly night is stimulating! So many toys to play with. Canoes, kayaks, SUPs. The water was too cold for me, but a bunch of people from our group waded in, went swimming and enjoyed the water. The kitchen cabin was well equipped with everything you might need. We did all of our eating outside, but there is room in the kitchen for folks to sit down and have a meal.Rheanna was a wonderful hostess. She made sure that we had everything we needed. My biggest regret is that I probably won't get to experience the camp again. We traveled from Ohio for a business retreat held by a friend. I tried to organize a group of Ohio family and friends to reserve the camp together, but the 14-hour drive was a deal killer. But I will have warm memories of my remarkable stay in the Maine Woods.

We celebrated our 10th anniversary here for our business. It couldn't have been a more perfect location, the cabins are absolutely delightful, use of canoes and the fire pit really made for a great experience for our guests. Rheanna is a true pleasure to work with and we look forward to going back soon!

Beautiful property with a lot to offer! Lake views from the communal firepit are awesome. The cabins can accomodate a large family or group of friends . Highly recommended for that special vacation getaway!I'd also suggest you look into the rental of one or both of the really cool 'floating camps' NOMAD and ROAM for a once-in-a-lifetime retreat under the stars while listening to the loons - magical!

I had the pleasure of attending a couple gatherings, both on the campgrounds and an extra-special one on the floating Nomad. I am looking forward to booking a special weekend getaway this summer as Otyokwa has everything I need: tranquil spaces, limited internet, the most wonderful staff (here's looking at you, Rheanna!), and beautiful vistas! I'm torn here: though I want to sing their praises from the highest rooftops, I also want this to stay a hidden gem. What to do, what to do... See you next summer!

I had the opportunity to stay at Otyokwa in the Fall and it was beautiful, relaxing, and rejuvenating. It's a remote oasis for groups to enjoy nature. Otyokwa is rustic which means limited internet and no bathrooms in the cabins (though there is a bathhouse with hot water and regular toilets). When the weather cooperates, the firepit and grill area is where everyone gathers. And when the weather doesn't cooperate, the cookhouse will hold everyone for a meal, a board game, or whatever entertainment you can make for yourselves. It's a true getaway from a hectic life and a return to a simpler time.

I visited Otyokwa cabins for a wild winter swim adventure. The frozen lake, the beautiful cabins, and a warm outdoor fire made for the perfect day to spend a wintery day out side. I can only imagine that summer is even more perfect. I can't wait to go back!
