Hannaford is a pretty nice supermarket. They have a decent selection of everything you are looking for. The prices are a little high but nothing crazy. The store is clean and the cashiers are super friendly. Overall I don’t have any complaints I got everything I need.

Average grocery store but PACKED. Like you couldn't walk far without someone right in your way. Which, is to be expected in a tourist area. Good wine selection.

First visit to this supermarket chain upon traveling to the area from Alabama. Impressive produce selection. Well stocked and organized shelves. Clean and well-lit environ. And to our surprise, there was a liquor selection! In Alabama, such items can only be purchased at dedicated liquor stores. We purchased spiced rum in an effort to replicate a delicious cider we tried at a local pub. We also bought items to do some cooking during our stay in South Bristol. We really liked the atmosphere at Hannaford's and the friendliness of the cashiers and manager.

Really like that this store finds and sells local produce. Supports local farmers. Staff is nice. They do their best to assist. Would like to see some meat products, like lamb, come from other than Australia or New Zealand. We do have some local farmers and their is a difference in the taste.

Only grocery store around so you have to like it!!I couldn't find things like sugar free coffee creamer and low carb bread options. Coming from a big city area- am very happy to find lactose free milk and gluten free options!

Friendly,helpful Staff with one stop shoppingFrom fresh fruit cooked & live lobster great deli,premade fresh sandwiches salads bakery beer,wine,liquor,a pharmacy isle,The weekly news paper wood,charcoal all your needs! Try to shop around busy times & bring your own bags or pay .05 for paper bags. Prices are most reasonable. CLEAN &plenty of parking over by the left side facing store.

Poor work performance from most every department in every employee.. most of them have a bad attitude with lack of respect for customers! They don't know how to bag groceries and just don't care about you products that you just purchased.. it shows the reflection of poor management right from the top. The supermarket is too small for the community that it is supposed to serve! We hope a bigger supermarket chain would come this way soon!

This is a very nice grocery store in the middle of town. A large parking lot makes it easy to use with an RV. There's a wide selection of foods. The meats produce and bakery goods were all very fresh. You can find just about all the brands you normally look for including organic foods.

Small town grocery store atmosphere with a good stock of summertime foods. Love the cashiers who love to chat it up and help you forget about the days issues. A hoot and yet great service!

We have been coming to Boothbay for years and every August I order a birthday cake for my daughter. The bakery staff are the nicest, most helpful people!! The cakes are AMAZING..we have great bakerys in the NJ/NY area but this bakery is outstanding!

Showed at several Hannaford grocery store while in Maine last week. They are great stores. Very clean and well stocked with everything. Really like shopping there.

The store itself is fine, but the employees are absolutely miserable. They were so incredibly rude, it was almost comical!Avoid and shop elsewhere.

This is the only major grocery store in Boothbay Harbor but being the only one they keep everything stocked well and the prices are average with most other stores. The store is located right at the entrance to town which makes it very convenient. The service is good and every time I have been there they had what I was looking for.

Has been remodeled but still lacks quantity, quality & diversity. Needs a larger building and has stopped carrying certain brands. Unfortunately for elderly & lower income families, they are the only large grocer on the peninsula, so no competition. A lot of price gouging compared to same grocer in other towns. However, staff is local, friendly & consistently helpful.

Packed store with long long lines! 1 register open plus 10 items register and 4 self check out. SUPERVISOR IGNORED 3 SELF CHECK OUTS NEEDING ATTENTION while he bagged 1 persons groceries. At least 10 people in all 3 lines!!

More of a smaller satellite store.Has seafood, deli, limited baked items among other staples.Poor planning during covid19. Grocery carts are outside at far end of the store requiring one to walk to the other end of the store to use the one door available.For those with limited oxygen this means they cannot use a cart.

The guy in the fish market said they would have lobster the next dayI got there first thing in the morning and they had none. Causing me to search all over town. This tiny store is overwhelmed in the summer.

Great service and staff. Deli was extremely helpful and the gentleman deserves a promotion. And front end manager was pleasant and very helpful. She too deserves a promotion or raise.
