Great little grocery store in the middle of town. Prices were pretty good considering where it's located. The folks were polite and helpful. Food was fresh and the selection was good. Bonus that they had a decent liquor selection, a bunch of beers, and great ice cream choices. We found everything we needed.

This place recently changed hands, and the new owners appear to be working hard to make improvements. For best selection, try to avoid shopping Friday - Sunday. Since this is a tourist area, visitors tend to arrive and clear out the certain sections instead of stopping at a larger grocery store along the way.

Catering to mainly weekenders and people from away, after new ownership prices increased considerably and in some cases the offerings decreased. It’s no longer a place I shop unless I absolutely need something. It typically runs out of ataples and is undersized for the community it serves. Unfortunately hannaaford or another chain doesn’t have a store in the area for locals and people that frequent the area.

The only thing that has not changed for the worse since Foodliner sold is the great staff. Always friendly and courteous. Product selection, pricing, and the hide and seek we are now forced to play finding things have driven us to start going over to Rumford or Oxford Hanni. Sad.

This little grocery store is in the heart of Bethel Maine. It has a very fine atmosphere. Great produce And bakery products as well as all grocery items. Staff is very helpful. And very pleasant to talk to and will help in any way they can.

It’s August 12th. I am moving to Bethel next week and I just read in the Sun Journal about the sale of the Bethel Food Liner at the end of July. It is very exciting news to hear about the new, young manager and the hopes for expanded local produce sale. And here is five stars right now - go get ‘um! I just can’t wait - I am so excited to move to this awesome town!

They recently took over the Foodliner with promises of big changes. The only changes I see are that they have added plants and moved things around. There are no other new offerings, the produce is severely lacking, I couldn't find strawberries or feta cheese on one particular visit, not exactly specialty items. Honestly, I'd rather drive to Oxford, Rumford or Gorham to do my shopping. Pretty disappointing.

This is the smallest full service little grocery store I have ever seen. Small but, mighty. Great selection of fresh fruit and veggies. Has a deli and a meat department with a butcher. Doesn't carry everything but, the selection is nice and there is some good variety in food and ingredients. Staff was always super friendly.

Great little grocery store. I am from Michigan here in Maine on vacation and they had all the things I needed for my 3 year old. The employees were very friendly and helpful. They also have a great wine selection. I found my mother-in-law the exact wine she wanted. Happy child and mother-in-law thanks to Bethel Foodliner!

These folks do the best they can do! Very small, small town grocery store. Supply chain challenges and being the only game in town can limit availability any given moment. Good beer/wine/liquor selection (enough to get you by anyway). Small deli for sliced meats and cheeses. Fresh fruits and vegetables are limited but enough to cook a few meals. Keep low expectations, be flexible, and you may ne pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff!

Nice little IGA, but a little more on the pricey side, most of the staff is really friendly, but there is one who is very rude, a male, who does not like having anyone get in his way, wish he would change his customer skills. Other then that if it weren't for the store being on the pricey side, I would give 5 stars just for some of the workers that are outstanding!

Can usually find what need but not a big selection they don't carry many options for energy drinks like monster etc and quite often sold out of even that. Prices could certainly be better on pretty much everything in the store ! One item in fresh fruit I noticed to be more than double the price of shopping elsewhere ! So expect to pay more than shopping at other known grocery stores for sure! I do like that they have pre sliced and packaged many of the deli meat and cheeses in all different weight packages for you to choose from so it's much easier and welcoming to try kinds you may have never tried before and saves you from having to wait to get deli products. So that is a plus for anyone wanting to try different things or in a hurry! Not a big selection of pre-made salads like pasta salads or egg or chicken ham etc etc and the prices are incredibly high! However prices on everything everywhere have increased so idk maybe others wouldn't think they were too high but I find the store overall very expensive on most stuff but especially most fresh stuff fruits veg. Meats deli pre-made convenience items etc etc but if your in need in a hurry you will probably find what you need no problem .or atleast what your willing to settle for.

I won't buy my food anywhere else; the meat is cut and wrapped in the store, the produce is always fresh and everyone is friendly and helpful. And I love that it's stocked with Hannaford products - another local company doing great things for the community.

Only had 1 bad experience out of a handful of times, but I won't hold it against them.Prices are higher than normal(Like $0.99 half & half tea being up priced to $3 is silly.)Forgot to try out one of their cakes before leaving town, but they looked good 💙.Kind staff as well 💙
