I Like the website for ordering very clear to read & prices are reasonable. I called in for take out the 1st time to try some place new for pizza & fries . Went in the place was clean a big plus for me & also friendly counter help.When I arrived the person was right there to assist me. My Order was ready on time like they said over the phone . Thanks great work guys. I even have a left over slice for a Picture to eat hot or cold. The food was very good not greasy & fries hot not mushy. :) 1-19-23

First of all. The people working here get 5 stars. From the person who took my order, the folks who rung my order and the guys who made my pizza.The pizza was very good. Good crust, cooked well, not greasy, good toppings. I had a Mediterranean pizza. I just wish there were more toppings. All in all very good pizza.

The employees are very nice but unfortunately the quality of the food does not match the premium price. Chicken finger dinner came with just 3 fingers and a lot of fries. The small mushroom pizza wasn’t burned but the crust was too chewy(almost like it was stale bread). The large pepperoni pizza was ok but nothing special.

Very pleasant visit. Was able to find parking right out front. Walked in and we were greeted with smiles and greetings and felt welcome and friendly so stayed and enjoyed our sandwiches cooked to perfection. Looks like a Good place to go to get pizza which we haven't tried yet, subs that were exactly what we expecting. Reasonably priced and actually cheaper than sub shops in my area.

Everyone who works there is great (I'd rate 1 star if it weren't for the excellent staff). Register people are kind and efficient. The cooks do a great job in preparation. But the manager. Or whoever that dude is that walks around like he owns the place is a being with little to know clue how to execute customer service. He will make a mistake and deny it till the day he dies and make a point to sarcastically assure you everytime you come in that your order is correct. I'm not sure how you manage to keep such a great staff with your intolerable behavior. They must be a group of insanely patient people. If South Berwick house of Pizza had a competent owner they'd axe that guy. And if that is the owner then whew. What a guy. You deserve more long winded soul ripping reviews.

The pizza was fantastic, and the guy who waited on us was really nice. But the man who seemed to be the owner/manager, wasn't all that interested in keeping us happy. The TV was on pretty loudly, and the politician on the screen was screaming non-stop to the point that I asked for the TV to be turned down. The manager looked at me, looked at the TV and said, "It's barely on at all." And that was it. He didn't say anything else or turn the TV down.There were no other customers, none of the staff was watching the TVs, there was no reason not to turn it down and help our dinner be more pleasant. So rather than gaining long term customers, the manager ensured that we won't be back, and we will be sure to tell all of our friends about our experience.Small things really do matter in customer service. As a former restaurant owner, I learned that first hand.

I ordered 3 items and 1 was not cooked all the way and the other was an incorrect item that I couldn’t eat due to allergy. When I called the person was rude kept asking me why I didn’t call them after closing when I had no way of knowing they would take calls after close. Due to that negative experience I won’t be eating there again. I recommend if you order check it before you leave.

This pizza place has been a staple in South Berwick for a long time and has excellent quality food throughout there menu, there staff is very friendly and polite on my visit the first thing I noticed right off was how clean it was as I entered and then while I was ordering I noticed how clean the kitchen was and how well staffed as well, I ordered my food and was surprised that it was ready in such a timely manner I was completely satisfied with the service and the delicious food, would definitely recommend them for a quick bite or for your next lunch or dinner for the family's next movie night, I'm fussy about giving 5 stars but this restaurant made it a no brainer I would give ten if I could

Way over priced for what you get. They never answer the phone, and you get a voice recording telling you to order online. Oh, there is a $2 fee for ordering online on top of the already over priced pizza.... plus only pizza place I've ever seen charge extra for sauce on the pizza (not even on the side). its a last resort or in a rush pizza place. They're also normally rude, and act annoyed with you.

Been going here literally for ages. Use to be awesome. Last year or so they have really declined. Order from them few times monthly. Probably won't order from them anymore as 60-75% of time they mess up our order.

Awww, I miss this place so much! We lived in South Berwick, Maine for 4 years - and we ate at the pizza house often. They knew my voice whenever I called! The food was amazing and the service was phenomenal! It is locally owned and ran. And the family who owns it are absolutely amazing people! On top of all of the fabulous pizza, they also offer some of the best Greek food - authentic mind you - as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area or anyone traveling through!

The pizza is fine. Just fine though. It's not worth having the owner/manager go out of his way to tell you that the reason they screwed up your order was your fault.I know that my order was correct because my wife corrected me while I was on the phone calling it in and I recall specifically telling the guy the correct order.We get the food home and it was obvious that we did not get a gluten-free crust. I called back and advised that I didn't get the correct pizza. The woman was very polite and accommodating. She said to bring the other one back and that she would throw one in the oven for us. All good, right? I thought so until the owner calls me back just to let me know that he took the original order and that I was wrong. I told him that I specifically remember telling him gluten free because my wife corrected me while I was ordering.Even if I was wrong (which I was not) you do not go out of your way to tell your customer that they are wrong.So my wife shows up to pick up the new pizza and the woman turns behind her and asks the guy if wanted to "handle this"? He asks if she wanted to talk about something? She said she just wanted the correct pizza. He asked if she wanted her money back, she again told him that she just wanted the pizza. He then replied, " just like I told the person on the phone you made the wrong order." My wife tried telling him that she just wanted the (cheaper) pizza that we ordered. He started talking over her in front of his staff and other customers. Hopefully, he was just having a bad evening and usually doesn't treat his customers like he did us. Nonetheless, I'll never give that man my business again.

Ordered chicken finger dinner. Came in the house and sister said what’d you get. Told her and she laughed. So I open and realized why she laughed :( very disappointed ! I’m pretty sure the chicken finger dinner was $15.00 and I paid for fries pretty much.. there was 3 1/2 tiny pieces of chicken?? Deff will not ever order chicken finger dinner from here again..But I mean other foods I have ordered are good?

Pizza is good. Just your standard HOP place. Most of the food on the menu is really low quality. Kind of disappointing since theres only a few resturants in south berwick to choose from. If your order is wrong dont even bother calling to complain. They won't own up to their mistakes. And one time our order slip fell behind the counter and you can imagine how that went. But let me tell you what, whoever is in charge is a real piece.

I love this pizza to an unfair amount, do not go off of my review because I like this pizza too much for what it is. Whenever I am away it is highest on my list of things to do when I get back, I HAVE to get it when I come back. Any time I think about how the ninja turtles scarfed pizza, this is the pizza I envision. It is uniquely South Berwick, and even though I have tasted pizza that is "better", this is what I would ask for for my last meal.

Best veggie pizza!! We had spinach, onions, peppers, & mushrooms! It was soo delicious. The veggies were fresh, sauce and cheese out of this world! We will be back on the next visit!

Ordered two plain lg cheese pizzas plus a 10’’ veggie calzone and paid $43.95. The veggie calzone cost $14.95?? Absolutely absurd. To boot NOBODY in the shop was wearing a mask or gloves. I encourage anybody who’s looking for pizza in the South Berwick area to look elsewhere.

We had a flat tire and a child that had to use a bathroom. This dump was the only bathroom available and not only said no to a mother and child in distress, but escorted them out like they were the problem. Cruel people and bad pizza is the problem. Do not give this lowlife any of your business. Subway allowed my nephew to use their bathroom.

Ordered a large garlic pizza with light cheese and sauce. Pizza came with what looked and felt like a quarter inch of cheese on it. When I called to reconcile the issue, I was told it was less than half the normal amount and it was my fault it was to much cheese. Wouldn't even replace an uneaten pie. Very poor customer service. If you order from here, just check your food before you leave. Even then you'll be lucky to get what you ordered in the end. I'll go to La Festa in Dover before I go here ever again, and I live 10 mins from Dover and basically next door to this joke of a pizzeria.

I almost forgot how bad this place is. But after ordering pizza else where I just remembered that it is so good everywhere else don't waste your money . Sub par at best ! So rude and the box was so light when I picked it up was unsure if there was even anything in it .
