I have an older fur baby that's really skittish and they took wonderful care of her. She did really well with the girls and Dr. Doug. The staff is sweet, helpful and really love working with our pets. They explained everything clearly. They were prompt and gave me all the time needed to discuss my dogs and their treatment. I wish I could find a PCM that was this good for me. ❤️ Highly recommend. Five paw rating from Copper and Michelle 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

I want to say thank you to Lucky Pat animal Hospital in Berwick Maine.. And yes, I’m being sarcastic.. We have been with Lucky Pet since they have opened.. I called them after Christmas or around New Year’s eve.. There was no message when they would be returning to work, or if they were even open.. But I did leave a message stating that my Vader was experiencing a lot of signs that needed to be addressed… I did take her to the animal hospital in Portsmouth, where he had passed away.. 😢All I want to say to Lucky Pet is I did leave a message but not one of your staff members reached out to me to ask me how Vader was doing or if I still needed any help… I will tell you that I will be moving on because there is no care at all since Dr. Doug has left..

The Lucky Pet Staff have been wonderful to work with since our first puppy visits. Always so kind and helpful. Our boy Griff LOVES his visits here, even the tougher ones. Dr. Doug is amazing with animals and you are in great hands.

It's in the name, If your pet goes here they are a lucky pet. Only downfall emergency services are not currently available here I still rate above 5 if I could. The ladies are so friendly and make you feel welcome right when you walk in.Dr. Doug always goes above and beyond for my dog's needs. He communicates and is very knowledgeable when I have questions. My dog really likes him and you can tell he loves dogs too. If your not going here and seeing Dr. Doug you should be 🙂!

Had no problem for over a year. But all of the sudden it's ignorant remarks being made and adding on different fees when they feel like it. Called to make them aware that even outside the office you are heard. The rooms aren't soundproof and very unprofessional. Only thing employee and Manger had to say was they have been in the business for 30 years no one owes me an apology. such a great place. Not.. Will be taking my dogs elsewhere especially when management doesn't see a problem with being unprofessional and ignorant

We've been taking our dogs to Lucky Pet since we moved to the area in 2007. I feel very strongly that there is no better place to bring your pet. Every person who works there is incredibly kind and knowledgeable.We've been through a lot in the past twelve years with our pets. Our girl Lulu had cancer and Dr. Reagor and his staff helped us through that ordeal, and were truthful with us while still showing the utmost compassion. We were 100% supported by everyone there through all of her treatment until her final day where they helped us make the difficult decision to let her go. They stayed with us and even cried on the floor with us while she went over the rainbow bridge.Our current dog, Mully, is a little troublemaker. Just a couple months after we adopted him, he swallowed a piece of rubber. This happened on a Sunday night so we went to the emergency vet (not Lucky Pet). They were OK... Mully wouldn't pass it so the next morning we brought him to Dr. Reagor. He and his staff took control of the situation and really helped us - that's the thing about Lucky Pet: the staff cares as much about the humans as the pets. I get very nervous and scared about my dog's health, but everyone at Lucky Pet has worked hard to ease my stress and help me understand what's going on and what options we have. They also present options and go over the financial details so you won't be surprised at the bill. Their prices are very reasonable.Mully had to have surgery to remove the piece of rubber. We would not have felt comfortable going through this anywhere else. We picked him up later that day and he recovered really quickly and had no idea what all the fuss was about.I really can't say enough about how awesome Lucky Pet is, and how much I appreciate everyone who works there.

We love Lucky Pet and refer all friends to them. They make our pups (past and present) feel so comfortable, safe and loved. When we had to say goodbye to our dog they were so sensitive and understanding, even lighting a candle for him to let other patients know what we were going through. Highly recommend them.

I had a good experience when I brought my pets for a checkup and shots. The staff was friendly both at the front desk and behind the scenes in the exam room.The staff seemed knowledgeable and offered advice on a few questions and services.The only downside is it's corporate owned by a national chain, Vetcor, who was acquired by Oak Hill Investments in 2018.I'm trying to get away from corporate owned businesses that usually means profit driven services over patient care.

Dr. Kohout (Dr. Doug) is truly special. He’s been my dog’s vet for nearly 5 years. He sits down on the floor to build rapport with my dog during each visit while giving me plenty of time to ask questions and get all the answers I’m looking for. As a full service animal hospital, it’s convenient and comforting to know that they can take care of all my dog’s needs. The staff is always very welcoming to both of us as well as friendly and accommodating. I can’t say enough about them. I travel from Dover NH to be a part of this great community and couldn’t imagine getting better service anywhere else!

I had a great experience at Lucky Pet. The front desk staff are friendly, informative and welcoming!! Never made me feel rushed or ridiculous for over thinking and over asking everything! My dog needed a pretty intense surgery and they gave me the attention and time I needed to feel comfortable. The vet techs are awesome as well. Patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable. The Dr. was exactly what we needed for our girl! He took the time to get on the floor with her and get her to trust him. He was kind and explained everything in a way that I understood and didn’t feel rushed or bad for taking too much of his time. Dr Kohout was gentle with her and did not seem frustrated with her being anxious and a bit difficult. I am completely satisfied with our experience at Lucky Pet and definitely recommend them!

Switched to this Vet recently from a friend's referral to get a second opinion.Dr Jordan saw my senior dog and was wonderful. She was honest and gave me options. Unfortunately, I had to have my girl put downa week ago. Dr Jordan and her assistant came to my home to euthanize my dog as she couldn't walk. They were compassionate, did a beautiful job and were respectful and gave me and my family plenty of time to say goodbye. I'm so very glad I switched in time. Highly recommend Lucky Pet♥️

They were great welcoming us as new client, got us in very quickly. We took our new puppy a week ago and they made sure they kept everyone safe with the COVID 19 pandemic by taking him inside while me and my kids stayed safe in the car. He made sure I knew exactly what was going to be happening and he was there afterwards for follow up appointments to answer any question that I had come up. I cannot say enough positive things about this vet clinic. Brian is Dr. Lucky and he takes amazing care to your pets. I never ever feel rushed and he spends an enormous amount of time answering questions and reviewing your pet. The vet techs are terrific as is the admin staff. I've been going here for several years now and just love the reception from everyone. My pups are not afraid of going there as the techs are so gentle. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else with my dog kids.

Never had a better vet than Brion and Doug. They are kind, compassionate, and always know what's ailing my little buddies. Their staff is friendly and always willing to help. My pets are as important to me as children are to others. Wouldn't trust their lives to just any vet. Lucky Pet always makes our appointments stress free. I don't feel shamed into doing tests or purchasing items like other vet offices. Super friendly always and the care they give is A #1!! I have been with Lucky Pet for many years and am moving a bit further from them but plan to stay with Lucky Pet.
