Nice store with a good selection of lobster, which was a must-have on my trip home. But the person who bagged our groceries needs to bag differently. As I was putting one bag into the car it ripped apart, and the groceries landed on the ground, 3 half gallons of ice cream, 1 pint of ice cream, 2 pounds of hamburger, a pound of grapes, a few smaller items & a dozen eggs were what fell to the ground. Lost 3 eggs in this process but was too mad to go back in to complain.

Seems like the build of this store was severely short sighted. 10 people in this store make it feel crowded and there's no self checkout. Selection of items normally carried by larger stores are widely absent. This is such a high traffic area and Hannaford is missing out. Staff is helpful and friendly though

What a beautiful supermarket. I would say too small to do major grocery shopping, but 10/10 for cleanliness, and having items in stock! Coming back to get some other items I need!

This North Berwick Hannaford is a smaller store. I wish it had a pharmacy. However, everyone is friendly, eager to help and many healthy options. I got the grab and go haddock. It was fresh and delicious! The cashier was so adorable and a delight to cash out with. I can't say enough good stuff!

Not as big as other Hannaford's, such as Portsmouth, Exeter or Raymond NH, but it does have it's own recycling structure for cans and bottles that have the Maine abbreviation.Inside looks nice but it is a little narrow to move. Colorful produce section. I noticed the mood lighting, which reminds me of a few Kohl's I've visited. The cahier was friendly. Outside looks good.

Love it at this hannafords employee are so helpful so nice and treat you so well I feel so welcomed everytime I go in to this hannafords in north berwick maine and I'll continue giving them my service and continue going food shopping there

The bathrooms are supposed to be handicap accessible. Yet both bathrooms were soaked at the time of my visit (6pm). It was very hard to get out of the wheelchair and use the bathroom due to the floor being soaked and very slippery.

Whoever created the bacon-wrapped jalapenos needs to take them home and cook them. No matter what you do bacon is under done and slimy time to go back to the drawing board waste of money

They seem to do better with keeping things in stock lately. Produce is better than last year. I refuse to buy chicken here, it looks old, always yellow slimy juice in the packages. They usually have two express lanes and one normal checkout open, but 90% of the customers have more than 14 items so it backs up a lot.

Nice store,well stocked. The reason they don't get five stars is because I don't mind having to buy paper bags, but if you're going to sell me a bag I should be able to get home without it ripping every single freaking time. Hell I'd pay more if the bags were just durable. But alas they are not. Stop being cheap on the paper bags

Good store, convenient location ect. But the when the "express lane 14 items are less" light is on at a register it is meaningless because the staff allows shoppers with way more than 14 items to use the so called express lanes.

It's a small little grocery store but it's a space that is very well kept. Everything is organized and space is clean. The produce is always super fresh. Definitely make it a point to stop here if I am in the area and in need of groceries.

Always a pleasant experience! Great selection of fresh produce, meats, baked goods, and everything else you'd expect from a Hannaford. This location is a little smaller than the York or Dover locations, but is great if you're looking to make a quick stop!

I always liked Hannaford until recently. The Dover store seems to be going the way of Walmart and Target. One cashier last night (with a limit of 14 items). Everyone else had to use self check out. I don’t mind if I’m only getting a few things, but a cart full of groceries? Never again.

I love our little local Hannaford. Before it was built, I figured we would go there for a few things here and there, but would still do our major shopping in Somersworth or Sanford. It’s been a few years now and we do the majority of our weekly shopping here. I appreciate the small size - you can be in and out quickly if you so choose. You don’t have the same selection as at the larger stores, but all you have to do is ask and they will likely start carrying any product you wish. Having more choices overwhelms me at times, so I am fine with the selection here and we get everything we need. I used to stress about running to the grocery store after work, but I no longer worry about it. The employees are friendly and helpful, the produce is decent, as is the meat selection...they do have a deli, but no salad bar or hot bar- which is fine with me. The store is clean and easy to navigate. It would be nice to have a pharmacy, but such is life.One day, they were sold out of my favorite ice cream. An employee approached me and asked if he could help me find anything. I mentioned that I couldn’t find my fave kind, but that was okay. He gave me a coupon so it would be free when I came back. I was not expecting that at all. Lots of local folks have stories like this. They really seem to care about customer satisfaction. Anyway, very appreciative to have this store in town!!!

This market is smaller than other Hannaford's, yet they have everything on my grocery list. The store is clean and we'll organized, and pleasing to the eye. The staff is friendly and helpful, and checking out is never a long wait. I love the small town, neighborhood grocery atmosphere.

This gem has fulfilled a long-time need for a grocery store in this area. It is the perfect size for North Berwick, and it's now the only place between work and home for me to stop for a few things on my way home from work. Before this store opened, I would have to go a half hour out of my way in one direction or another.Produce is fresh, and the meats are good with many great bargains. They have always been great about putting names on birthday cakes. I've recently discovered their glorious chicken salad with cranberries and walnuts, and have enjoyed some of their other prepared foods. For a smaller store, they usually have everything I need.Okay, maybe this is a minor thing for most people, but I've been grateful that this store accepts touchless phone payments like Google Pay. It's also easy for the cashier to scan the barcode on the Hannaford app, even if my rewards don't build up very quickly. Friendly staff.

Great to have them close to home, but no deli , I will start to go where I can get deli products cut to order even though they were more convenient. Bite the bullet and staff the deli or lose customers.

I stopped in this store specifically to purchase food for the upcoming Jewish New Year holiday. There was ethnic food, Mexican and Italian. I asked an employee where I would find what I was looking for. She informed me that they usually carried it for the holidays. I informed her that the holiday was this week A fellow employee said if they had it, it would it may be in aisle 1. There was none to be in had. I left with a frozenChallah bread. Not what I would call a good experience

The store never has anything. They're always out of stock of something they never bothered or refill the shelves in a timely manner. Don't waste your time stopping in this North Berwick location.

Great customer service!I went in to get a birthday cake for my daughter, and when we asked for colorful writing on the cake, the staff went above and beyond. The cake looks beautiful, and my daughter is going to love it.
