If you are in search of a place guaranteed to leave your stomach full and soul happy you should definitely try Quietside Snacks! It is an amazing option that will satisfy your cravings while leaving you in a good mood!I was thrilled with the quality of food I received, the portions sizes and friendliness of the staff! As someone with a gluten sensitivity I was really pleased that they had a gluten free bun option, as well as a vegetarian quinoa burger alternative. It was a very relaxed and fun environment that offers outdoor seating at picnic tables and chairs around two fire pits. Your order is taken at the airstream window, then the meal is efficiently completed and brought out to you (either to your car or table)! In the summer they have live music as well!Super kid & dog friendly so bring your whole crew! As well as staying open all year round, which is hard to find on the island, this place is hard to beat!

Even if it's out of your way, come here and eat. You won't be disappointed! Our airbnb host told us to go here for lunch. She recommended a taco. I expected two small tacos. I was in for a surprise. One large amazing taco. It was so good. The chicken was juicy and not dry! We also ordered a side of fries. My favorite kind of fries. We also got our food within the time we were told it be out.We sat at the picnic tables and enjoyed the warmth of the sun.Vegetarian options: They had options for vegetarians.Dietary restrictions: Just let the women know what you can't have and they'll help you out. Parking: You can park in the nearest parking lot.Kid-friendliness: There was a kid eating, and she was talking about how good her food was. Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. It's ground level.

If a place is “cute” is that now an automatic 5 star rating? Seems so now for a lot of people.Stopped here about a week ago. Everyone had the fried chicken sandwich and fries. The fries were just a bunch of little pieces in a cup. I like salty fries but these were way over salted. I really was not happy with the fries as the were a bit soggy yet looked overcooked. The chicken sandwich probably was good if I could taste the chicken over the sauce. The sauce they use was overpowering any flavor from the chicken. The chicken did seem to be good when I got a piece near the end without sauce. I guess you have to know to order with the sauce on the side? I expect that sauce is to complement the dish, not overpower. You order at the window and the woman was friendly. Food came out in a reasonable time.Just under $100 for 4 chicken sandwiches and fries, 1 hot dog and 2 drinks with tax/tip. For me that’s too much for chicken I can’t discern from sauce and too salty fries.Sorry, not overly interested in returning.

So good! The best way to describe their tacos are more like large open-face burritos. Stopped by this place a few times during our trip. Unfortunately for us but good for them business was so amazing two different days we visited because they had sold out of lobster but I totally get it because they’re freakin amazing. You really can’t go wrong with anything on their menu. We tried the jerk pork taco, the beef taco, fried chicken taco, shrimp taco, fried chicken basket, and eventually the lobster roll (not all in one sitting). Everything is fresh and made on the spot. They also have a nice range of beverages. My only suggestion is that if a beverage is sold out is to take it off of display or have a little sign or tag displaying that it’s sold out.

Got the fried Chicken Sandwich on a cold October day and it changed my whole perspective of a good one. Super flaky breading, juicy and fibrous white meat, and some brown sauce that I can't really describe but was very good! The cole slaw also contributed to my newfound love for the side-dish, for after a few encounters I believe every establishment in Maine knows how to make a good slaw. I heard there is a place in Portland, OR, running the same chicken sandwich recipe and they have been the latest rave in that city. The difference is you will be ordering this one out of a cute little airstream and eating it on a brightly colored picnic table. Cool!

The cutest little date spot 🖤 delicious with plenty of seating or you can wait in your car for them to bring out. They're also dog friendly for responsible pet owners.

Wow! This place took me by surprise. We had hiked all day and needed a quick, hearty meal. We didn’t feel like driving back to Bar Harbor (it’s super busy and parking is a pain). We found this place on the way to see the Bass Harbor lighthouse. It’s a cute little airstream made into a food truck. The gal behind the counter was super sweet. We order burger and fries and they were great! We sat by the bonfire while we waited for our food. The food was so yummy, we came back the next day.

Wow, came here with my girlfriend our last night in Maine since we ended up in the area hiking. Super cozy vibes, and absolutely incredible food that we weren't even prepared for. The chicken sandwich was maybe the best chicken sandwich ever and we're both huge chicken sandwich connoisseurs so that's saying something. Hot dogs and fries were both perfect too, fresh cut fries id expect to get on the boardwalk in jersey but even better? Cool vibes with music playing too, wish I found this earlier in our trip but we'll be back again. Keep doing what you're doing, you have a SERIOUS gem here.

Okay, we’ve eaten here twice and have absolutely loved each experience. The food was delicious, the prices are good, and the people there are really good folks. Check out their menu…..whatever you choose, you won’t be disappointed.

GET THE HAND CUT FRIES!!!! I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was here. The traveler burger was awesome. My daughter had the classic chicken sandwich, which had delicious breading. You park in front of the warehouse looking building that is right next to the airstream camper. The airstream serves as the "kitchen" for the restaurant. If it's raining just sit in your car and eat.

Such a charming little stop for some amazing quality. The best fried chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy, bursting with flavor. Pickles were crunchy and sweet. Absolutely delicious. They really take pride in their food and prices are very fair. Will definitely be returning!

Alright, I think we’ve skewed what 5 stars is. 3 stars should be a good restaurant, and we go up from there. I’ll give this place 5 stars because it’s excellent for what it is. We ordered a fried chicken Mac n’ cheese, french fries and a burger. The burger was excellent, there’s not much more to say. The fries were also very very good, I think they need some more dipping sauce options. Finally the chicken Mac n cheese was great. Their fried chicken was delicious and their Mac n cheese (while not the best I’ve ever had) was very good. The ladies running the show were awesome and had a “can do” attitude.I would definitely make a point to go back, and you should make a point to visit!

Had a delicious black bean burger during Acadia trip. The owners were friendly and quick on service. We enjoyed the food by the campfire that they had set-up. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting this area.

My husband and I went there twice during our stay in Acadia so far and we will likely go there again. You can see a lot of care goes into food. We’ve had their fried chicken sandwich (omg the SAUCE!!) and jerk pork taco (so scrumptious—You can taste the char on the port and again the sauce is magic!) amongst other things. It’s only 2-3 people cooking, taking orders and serving so there can be wait but it is worth it! Friendly service, fantastic food.

Brunch, lunch, snacks--doesn't matter what time it is, you NEED to go here. I'm partial to a good sandwich, and these are excellent. Burgers are gigantic, my parents shared one and still got multiple meals out of it. My partner and I go every year! Also, pro tip: Get the fries.

Wonderful little place on the side of the road in Tremont. We were going to go somewhere else but they were closed and a local had told us about Quietside. Great choices from a grilled cheese all the way up to lobster rolls. I decided on the shrimp taco and they might as well name it the shrimp burrito. Stuffed with shrimp in a nice cilantro sauce. Would suggest stopping by here for a nice easy lunch without the lines and hassles you’ll find going into town. Thanks for the hospitality and look forward to stopping again on our next trip!

This is my favorite place. Im not just talking about places to get food. Of all the places I’ve been in my life, this is my favorite. The food is sooooo delish and the people there make the experience into a beautiful journey. They’re very welcoming, friendly, and hilarious (and great cooks!). There’s also a nice shack down the road with ice cream and herbs that you can walk to while you wait with free roam chickens.
