This is the place to go when you simply need a break. It's so peaceful. The family that run it are our family to. Our son has been coming since he was 11yrs old and my girl has been here every summer since she was born. I tell my girlfriends it's a good place for women because they dont have to cook our clean just lay back and relax with a glass of wine read a book or do a puzzle or go for a walk on some of the trails a take in the views. No madness or other people running around making it not so relaxing.

I have been to this wonderful playground now for the last 3 years. My family has been going since 2011. It is a great family get away. It is a place for the modern family to get away from all the business of today's world. You can unplug and do some family fun, like fishing, swimming, canoeing and boating. And to top things off, you get home cooked meals everyday.

If your looking for a great place for a family vacation this is it. The Rices are great hosts. The area is beautiful & the cabins are very comfortable. I've been going there every year for 15 yrs & plan to keep going!!

I have been coming here for over 35 years. This place has stayed in family hands since 1929. Great fishing camp with three squares a day and housekeeping. If you don't have a good time, it's your own fault.

A unique vacation experience! Can't say enough about the Rice family! They are amazing hosts. I doubt there are many of these types of cabin camps left in Maine or elsewhere. The most relaxing mountain vacation we ever have had. No worries about where to eat or fixing food when you are served three meals a day! Lots of things to do for the whole family. Reserve early as they are booked well in advance.

Love it here! So calm and peaceful. Rhonda and John are great and the food is amazing! Totally worth staying here and 8 hour ride it is for me to get here.

Had a wonderful time here. Grrreat food, Grrreat fishing, Grrreat company all week long. Was just there 6/20 to 6/24 2016 !! already signed up for same time next year !! Was a two day drive from Mts of North Carolina but can't wait to do this drive again !!
