Belgrade Lakes is the Maine equivalent of Greywalls in the UP of Michigan. It has more boulders than I can possibly comprehend. Don't get me wrong....I absolutely love them....I've just never seen so many in one place. It was incredible.The conditioning of the course was OUTSTANDING! Everything from tee boxes to the fairways and the greens were simply superb. The views were incredible and the staff was super friendly. For all those reasons and more, it is easily now in my top 10 course experiences.Make whatever plans you have to, to get to this amazing course.

The moment we entered the property it felt special. One of the nicest courses I’ve played. The scenery is beautiful. They course was in pristine shape. Greens, fairways, tees and rough were all in pristine shape. , Great layout, Great test of golf yet fairways are wide enough for everyone to enjoy. . The staff are very nice and friendly. Cart guys are very helpful. Patsy in the pro shop couldn't do enough for us. We drove just over an hour. Wasn’t sure what to expect. It was a very pleasant surprise. Great golf experience.

This is one of the finest golf courses we've played in the country, and we have played all 50 states. The fairways and greens are impeccable, every hole unique and challenging, and the scenery is outstanding. The staff took a special interest in making us feel welcome. They even provided cookies and watermelon on the course for the players. Definitely want to come back in the fall. It is a go to destination!

Amazing views and beautiful layout. Super nice staff as well. Would rate 4.5 if possible...the greens and speed were a let down considering the price and all other positives at Belgrade Lakes.

Course was in great shape, the views are outstanding, and the staff was happy and professional. The costs were high for a round, especially after playing other local courses. I would tell people to play a round here, without a doubt, but I would also hope the round costs would be adjusted to attract people to come back

Hidden gem. Beautiful course and friendly people. Had a specialty cocktail and a lobster BLT on the deck overlooking 9 and 18 at the end of the round. Hit the spot. Great experience overall.

Absolutely beautiful course. Tee boxes, fairways, greens, signage etc., everything is in amazing shape, even for end of summer. The staff are outstanding, a fully stocked proshop, bar, and restaurant. The course is pricey but it delivers.

This course is the most scenic one I've ever played. Every hole was a new experience and well kept. The staff is second to none, helping us with everything from the pro shop to shipping my hat back to me in Florida after I left it on a hole. Memorable day! Cheers!

Amazing course. I come here every time I’m in the area. Perfect conditions and hole design. Reasonably priced for what it is. In-season play can be a little slow but they also don’t force pair you up which is nice.

The most beautiful golf course I have ever played. The condition of the course was impeccable. Despite the heat wave, there was a beautiful breeze due to the elevation of the course. It was absolutely incredible. The fairways, greens, and roughs we immaculately cared for.

First impressions coming in, the staff is very friendly and laid back and it’s a fun vibe with music playing and not stuffy at all. Pleasantly surprised by the understated clubhouse and unpretentious atmosphere for a top rated course in Maine. Conditions around the course were perfect. Beautiful views and good drinks, we love playing here.

Played for the 1st time. Very nice golf course. Bring your camera. Price is a bit higher than other courses in the area but worth it. Fairways and greens are in excellent condition and a bit of a challenge. You can't go wrong on this course.

Incredible views on this 18 hole public course! Easy to see why it was rated in the top 100 of the US and best in Maine. Tee boxes, fairways, and greens are all in excellent condition. Some wide fairways, and most greens are where the challenge is to be found. Sand traps were soft and visually interesting. Extremely friendly staff make you feel at home even if you're only visiting.

Unbelievably scenic and fair to play golf course. Was my first time playing this course and could not have had a better day . Found the greens to be a bit tricky to read but I wouldn't have wanted them any different. They are what made the course so much fun to play. This was my first but not my last time playing this very memorable course.

Super golf course in a beautiful location. We played Wednesday in perfect autumn weather and the views were gorgeous. Course is always in top condition. An excellent test for your game.

This is the best course in Maine. Tough, immaculate views of the Belgrade Lakes, and perfectly maintained are what come to mind when I play here.So many holes that I love including 1, 6, 9, 12, 16 and 18. The greens are nice and fast. Early and late season rates are reasonable. If you love golf and haven't played here, you're missing out.

It’s not only beautiful - the manager and wonderful folks that run it are Fabulous! My kids and now grandkids can’t wait to have lunch on the back deck.
