I ordered a pair of gloves from The Blue Alpaca Ranch and Store online and I absolutely love them. Ordered them late in the season but I know that I will get lots of use out of them over time. Quality made. Soft and warm. Free shipping was a bonus. I was sent a pamphlet about the ranch, alpacas, and the store and hope to make it there one day in person to see the alpacas. I also received information on how to care for my gloves which I appreciated.

My experience at the Ranch could not have been better. I was fortunate to go for a walk with a baby alpaca and feed him and his family! Ben and Michele were awesome. So friendly and knowledgeable! I would not miss a chance to do this again and would defiantly return if I was in the area.

We visited the farm today after shopping at the store earlier this week. Friendly owners, welcoming, sharing knowledge about their alpacas. We were able to feed them and spend time with them. They also have alpaca walks - make sure to visit!

Booked an alpaca walk, but unfortunately the weather had different plans for us. My husband and I were still able to meet the alpacas and feed them treats. Ben was incredibly friendly and gave us a lot of information about the herd of alpacas. It was a morning well spent, and we will definitely put this on the list to visit again! I am also currently wearing my new alpaca socks, and my feet couldn't be happier.

Wonderful store with SUPER SOFT alpaca products! Their farm is just 5 minutes down the road and you can pet and feed the alpacas :) Wonderful experience!

Arrived 45mins before farm closing time and was greeted by Ben the owner in the parking lot. Promptly took us to meet the alpaca and provided his knowledge as well as his friendliness. You can feel his passion for his alpaca family and it was such a pleasure to meet them all in a relaxing chill environment. Purchased my first alpaca socks from his store made with Maine alpaca fiber which Ben says I will love and not want to wear cotton/poly socks again! Recommend visiting Ben and his alpaca family!

Highly recommend going here is you are in Belfast. We stayed in Belfast on our way to Acadia, and decided to go here because of all the positive reviews. Our kids loved it and will be talking about it the rest of the trip.

We had such a wonderful time at the Blue Alpaca Ranch! My husband and I did a walking tour with 2 of the alpacas! Ben was very friendly and knowledgeable! He let us walk up to the alpacas and get comfortable with them (and vice versa!) before taking them for a walk around the grounds. When we would stop to feed them treats he would offer to take photos for us with our phones! Overall I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area and meeting the alpacas and Ben & Michele!

This place is absolutely fantastic. We took our son here (age 2) and we all had so much fun. The owners are absolutely wonderful--passionate, friendly, smart and interesting. Their store is darling. We got some alpaca socks and they are great. Highly recommend with..or without kids. Such a great visit and a lovely and unique small business.

I see these guys at the farmers market in Belfast and have fallen in love with their socks! I am a person that is always cold, and recently have been living in them! The owners are really nice and the customer service is great. Their products make great gifts! Highly recommended!

Highly recommend! Ranch is a nice little area with very friendly alpacas. Pen for the females you get to give them treats. They're very soft and only a little shy. Ben is a great owner and guide for the tour. Very kind and informative. Then we saw the males and the one will come up and boop you on the nose! Super sweet and definitely recommend. Then we drove 5 minutes to the store in town and they had a wonderful selection of items.

Great family friendly experience! My son and daughter (5 & 8 yo) loved visiting with and feeding the Alpacas. Ben was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. Great trip if you’re in the Belfast area. The store in downtown Belfast has beautiful textiles of wonderful quality and sells yarn from the animals you meet at the farm. Great find!

This ranch absolutely was the highlight of my vacation. Very friendly, well cared for alpacas and Ben and Michelle are very nice and knowledgeable. I did the alpaca walk; I highly recommend it. I buy all of my contemporary winter garb from this magical place of business. The garments are soft and alpaca-licious, as I enjoy them to be. The staff is friendly and helpful, and they will put you in some beautiful alpaca drip if you allow them to.Frankly, there are two things of which fill me with joy in this turbulent world. Those things are alpacas, and looking dapper. The Blue Alpaca Ranch And Store excellently combines these two things into one. Amazing experience! Ben is so knowledgeable and taught us so much while we were visiting! The alpacas are amazing and the little store on site was adorable! We got some alpaca socks and a throw blanket. Will definitely be coming back again soon! :)

Had nice afternoon with my wife shopping in the Blue Alpaca store in Belfast. We had purchased items from them before for gifts and loved the quality of their products. Those we gave the gifts to just love them and commented how warm as well as how nice they feel. This is a case where you will get what you pay for. So if you're looking for something warm, comfortable and of good quality check it out.

We bought socks in 2020 when we took a trip to Maine, we love them for cold winters in NYC. We followed up with another order this year as it's been a super cold winter again:) Ben has been accommodating with a minor tear in the sock. We have not been to the farm yet, but did get to meet them at the Deerfield Fair. We bought a vest and socks from them and love them. Our oldest daughter bought gloves while at the fair and just so happened to be from The Blue Alpaca Ranch as well. Apparently we all share the same taste for quality products from nice people.

THE KINDEST PEOPLE & ANIMALS EVER! We stopped by on a whim & they gave us a tour even though the woman was technically on a break before her next tour. She told us so many fun facts & was seriously one of the kindest people we encountered on our trip to Maine. We were allowed to give the alpacas a few snacks & lots of pets & take lots of pictures! Seriously - a PRICELESS EXPERIENCE! :)

Love their socks! Most comfortable is all seasons due to the natural fibers.Our birds attack the alpaca ball for nesting material.
