Went to buy specialty coffee, called beforehand to see if it was in stock. I was told it was. It wasn't. Then Rebecca said a truck just came in, she would check the pallets, which are packed with mixed products. She asked Ryan, the store manager if he might find the shipping manifest which would indicate which pallet the coffee was on. He did! They found it ! I bought a case. The best service anytime, anywhere!! Belfast Job Lot Rocks. Thank you,Rebecca and Ryan.Signed Tom, 79 years old and that is a lot of years of being served!!!

My favorite store ever! Million times better than Marden's! Way more organized and they have SOOO many useful household items, cookware, cleaning supplies, laundry supplies for rugs, storage containers, etc. etc. It is big lots, Walmart, Christmas tree shoppe, eBay combined!! So many wonderful finds, and they are ALL NEW!! NO USED ITEMS! ALL PERFECT CONDITION, crazy deals. Always such a fun and interesting trip, but you know there will always be staples and essentials for amazing prices that best every other store. I am obsessed with price comparison. Best place to buy toys btw! Amazing prices!

Discount everything. I bought mineral tea tree shampoo, condition and body wash. Big bottles for 3.99. Face creams with retinol $4. Beach boogie boards (hard nice ones) $35, big beach chairs $35. They're almost double in other stores. This place has clothes, food and much more. Only problem is you won't find most items again if you go back for a favorite item.

Always a clean store and most of the workers are very friendly, helpful and get their jobs done great! I've had a few off employee experiences there; but that doesn't affect my rating as that can happen anywhere.Reasonable prices, and great selections!

The prices are reasonable. Ocean State goes beyond the return policy of 90 days. They allowed me to return merchandise that was acquired more than 6months prior, they gave me full store credit, I really appreciated an easy return no hassle.

I enjoy visiting this store whenever I am in Belfast. They have a wide variety of everything. From clothing, food, tools, rugs, seasonal items. Their cashiers are always friendly and helpful.

Funny joke changing your hours online recently but saying you’re open until 7 on Mondays for people who work and want to spend their hard earned money. Locked and sign on door says 6 every night. So hours updated but somehow Monday only day they get wrong? And they open at 10. Sad world we now live in that businesses don’t need to be open when customers are Available. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

Hours open are now are 10-6?! Oh and that one extra hour if hopefully get lucky and need something on a Monday. So I guess full time day workers should spend the money we’re making at stores that want our business and looking to accommodate us. Message received.

Unfortunately closing at 7pm makes it impossible to get here because of the hours I work. It’s too bad, because I used to really like shopping here. If you have to close so early, would be great if you could open later one day a week and stay open an extra hour that day for the people that can’t shop before 7. Just a suggestion. Would love to come back.

I don't understand why they legitimately sell expired food.? I go there a lot I do like the place but the whole crazy deals thing looks like its just to give away expired non perishables🤦🏼‍♀️, and 3 stars for cheap cat litter so that's good and they are taking good precautions with making customers stand apart in line to social distance and wipe down the counters after each transaction so I was impressed with that.Just read those expiration dates on the food products, non perishables still perish lol

I miss shopping here, but I can rarely get there before 7pm closing. It would be great if you could stay open until 9pm on Friday or Saturday night. I see lots of people shopping later in other stores around town that are open a little later, so I think would be beneficial to Job Lots as well. Dollar General, Walgreens, Family Dollar and Hannaford are open until 10pm, so I usually just go to one of those stores ever since Job Lots started closing earlier. But I would love to come back!

No surprises a good store. When i asked an employee where an item was, he first asked if i was familiar with the store. I am and I thought that was so nice a thing to ask anyway. Great for a new shopper.

Be sure to be on their mailing list for extra deals and coupons BEFORE you go. I check the middle aisles first for new bargains. Their honeycomb shades are wonderful products at a great price.

I visit Belfast alot and i stopped by on a very busy day at Ocean State Joband had a issue with a gift card that i received online .And Kind gentleman named Ryan came to our rescue. He took the time to call customer service and helped me and my wife with the gift card so we could use that day. He was wonderful and i think someday he will be a manager of a Ocean State Job Lot Store. Ryan thank you for your help.

I visit here fairly often for particular items -- olive oil, garden supplies, maple syrup, Bob's Red Mill products, occasional advertised sale items -- but most of the things here are not of interest to me or not good quality. Still, it's always worth a look to see what random merchandise might be just what you wanted at a bargain price.

The customer service isn't very good I will explain why... I called this past summer and asked If they had any inflatable boats I immediately got a no... so i went anyway to check it out and sure enough they had multiple i wasn't very impressed so I went to the counter and told the guy about it and he says that happens sometimes and that was the end of that conversation. Another pet peeve of the place is cleanliness. It's just so unorganized that it makes the whole place unappealing.

Decent enough, the area doesn't have much else to offer so OSJL serves the purpose. Keep a close eye out in respect to the items you wish to purchase, the quality of some of their products are very poor but others stand up to use very well.

I have no complaints about Job Lots. They offer a lot of really great discount deals on a variety of products and average deals on others. As always, you gotta shop around but I don't think you'd ever pay way too much for anything at Job Lots. I go there during once a month visits to Belfast. I stock up on certain snack items and have bought things like pillow cases, duct tape, and flashlights there before. I even bought a full body wet suit once for cold weather kayaking. That certainly speaks to the variety of their offerings!
