A very comfortable little neighborhood grocery that offers terrific sandwiches freshly made daily. You might imagine it gets busy at lunch. I did notice some customers coming in to pick up orders so that might be a good idea to beat the crowd. Prices are reasonable, certainly comparable to a Subway and they are tasty. Of course there are groceries too so you can pick up some sundry items at the same time!

My favorite spot for breakfast or a great sandwich or pizza. Morning cashier is a little grumpy but the rest of the staff more than makes up for it! I've never had a bad meal at Jack's!

Jack's Grocery has been around for many many years and it remains the go to place for many workers in the Belfast area. The food is top notch and I highly recommend it! Especially the sandwiches! The grocery area also gives you any sides you may want or need!

Best subs I've ever had. They only use local, fresh bread.Other food is great too but also it's the owners/staff that are always courteous that make this location a pleasure to visit every time.

Like this little convenient store it's my favorite place and been my store for 48 years . They best pizza and turkey wrap and there specials .I wish they were open Sundays half day 💗 . Employee s are friendly and been there during corvid 19 they're our heroes too.

A friend recommended Jack's over the co-op for less expensive lunch while we were in the laundromat. Very kind staff. Stocked with odds and ends you may need. An example is said friend asked me to get her 18 month old a turkey sandwich on Jack's homemade bread. The deli attendant was gracious with me as I realized that was very vague and helped me figure out what to order. The homemade bread is really nice. Especially if you're coming from a place that serves sandwiches on hard rolls. New England doesn't do hard rolls, so nice sliced bread is a good find.

Great family run convenience store. They have a little bit of everything to chose from. The take-out is excellent with plenty of choices, great daily specials and if you are looking for something sweet try chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting. It is absolutely delicious.

I was glad to see Jacks is still there. I grew up walking to it and in the 90s left for 30 yrs. Its always my fave place to get an Italian and just walking in took me back. Sandwich was just as i remember

I really love this little store. It has a great Mom and Pops sort of feel and they are actually the only place nearby that sells Pops Cigarellos. Their kitchen makes amazing dough boys too!

The pizza by the slice is to die for. Its a great lil store that can support all your lunch and household needs. It reminds me of a store my pups took me to as a kid for lunch back in the 70s n 80s.

Jack's Grocery is a fine convenience store not far from downtown Belfast, ME's center. It has good to average prices for a small, business establishment set somewhat apart and located between numerous local residences. The food prepared and/or cooked in the deli is consistently good, sometimes exceptional. Fresh ingredients in the deli, a decent assortment of prepared, canned and dry goods, household conveniences and toiletries, a nice array of wine, beer, sodas, juices and energy drinks! Expect all that and professional service at Jack's, it keeps me goin back! :)
