So I had to check this store out just from the name alone (especially with grump and sunshine being one of my favorite book tropes!)! I was not disappointed! It's very cute and modern with tables designated for genres/tropes for romance novels! If you're looking for a new romance read with an unique selection this is your place! Looking forward to the events at Grump & Sunshine!

I am a local but just discovered the shop last week, and I am so very glad I did! I was looking for a book to read on the train to Boston and was stumped, but then the shop owner gave me fabulous advice about choosing one "by vibes" when stuck. I now have a new favorite author thanks to that advice! Will definitely be returning to find more literary gems soon!!!

I visited this book store recently and found it to be aesthetically pleasing and have a nice variety of romance novels. The owner had her dog at work with her and he was a very enthusiastic greeter. :-)

I stumbled upon this cute shop, and was so excited to go in and browse. The book selection was good, the layout was helpful, and I loved all the bookish accessories. However while the space was welcoming, the owner definitely was not. Perhaps she was having a grump day, as we all do, but it was definitely a shame. I don't see myself returning to browse anytime soon. 😕

It’s really too bad they’re so unfriendly while the shop is so cute. There’s plenty of other bookshops that are more friendly with a better selection.

Me and my friend stopped by this place to check it out since it recently popped up in town. The owner was super nice and the presentation of the shop is really well put together. Though I only browsed, I could tell there was a variety of selection to choose from. The owner seemed generally knowledgeable and willing to lend recommendations as well. It is also a no judgement space with a small selection of more riskee related books and materials which I welcome as it brings variety into the space that other bookstores don't have. If you're romance-book-curious I heavily recommend!
