I don’t understand why we went to a no deli option at the one in Bath. Every time I’m in there all your prepackaged deli meat is marked down because most people want their meat cut fresh to order .not being able to get Krishna hotdogs at the deli is a bit ridiculous, people who are single cooking for themselves, the elderly they don’t wanna buy a full package of something that is the purpose of a deli so you can get just what you need without wasting. People on a Fixed income can’t afford to buy a full package of something because that’s what you guys think everybody wants when they only need one or two. it really bothers me that I have been a valued customer for years and I am not like in the direction you guys are heading.

This is a very good supermarket chain, and this store is representative of what I have seen elsewhere. It was very clean and well-organized, with excellent lighting and the organization of food on display was logical. Accessing food choices was easy, and the staff were friendly and working hard. From the deli to the fruits and vegetables, plus all of the package goods, I can't imagine too many items that I would not find in the store. Many thanks.

The employees in the Departments are very nice, friendly and helpful. Today’s checker however was not trained and started waiting on next person in line before finishing my order leaving produce, eggs, juice just “there”. The woman at next station stood there oblivious. If you spend $380 that’s a lot to bag. No excuse for poorly trained employees.

Clean, organized, and fresh produce. Not to many workers available to help but I found what I needed. Deli workers were awesome and friendly. This is a great little Bath, old-school grocery store. Shop the outside and get everything you need. Natural casing hot dogs, haddock, steaks, milk, veggies... easy walk in and out at this Shaws...

We vacation outside of Bath regularly and are grateful for this store. It is easy to find product and even though the store is small, we have always found each item we needed. The “sale/coupon” pricing is worth downloading the app for (we live in Cincinnati).The employees have always been friendly and I chose to not shop at other area stores because of how good the experience is here.

I'd give less stars if possible but can't place is a joke especially if you want to get a cake spend 53 dollars on a marble cake and just get a chocolate and a vanilla cake next to each other that's just 2 individual sheet cakes put together and slapped an almost 60 dollar price on id throw it at them if they wouldn't call the cops

I've been to this Shaw's more times in my life than I can count. Always been very clean, stocked as much as it can be. The associates are usually nice, but considering everyone is different it'll depend on who you get. This Shaw's has a lot of items that are fresh at the deli and bakery. I truly adore their bakery section because it always smells so good! They also have a bottle redemption next door and you can bring in the ticket to trade in for your cash inside. I always have had good experiences at this Shaw's.

Great store to shop in. It's really big inside and the employees are fantastic. It does get extremely busy, so picking the right time to shop is key. Overall it's a pleasant experience and I will continue to shop here

It must be the impact of covid and trucking, seems like they were out of several things on the shelves. The seafood counter is not too bad the overall location is very good. I asked an employee for an item I couldn't find and not only did they tell me which islet was in they walked across the store just to show me exactly where they were talking about. Very friendly staff.

Easy to get in/out. Recently updates so the layout is open, fresh and easy to navigate. They have quality food with lots of organic options which is important for me when feeding my family. They also have a good salad and hot bar, although they close it down earlier than I'd like in the evening..and it seems to be inconsistent. But overall, its my go-to grocery store.

Generally really clean and stocked well, good products and wide selection for dietary restrictions. Four stars because its always such a long wait to check out. The produce is fresh 9 out of 10 times and there's a decent selection. Employees are super helpful when needed and very polite. I do wish they had more of a bread variety- I eat Dave's Killer Bread (dietary restrictions) and have to go to Hannaford to get hamburger/hotdog buns/bagels etc. Not really a big deal but would save a trip to brunswick.

Grocery store was clean and orderly. Aisles seem crowed with displays and boxes of items not place on shelve making difficult for customers shopping to pass each other. Many sale items force you to buy more than one to get the sale price (example you must buy 5 of these items to get the sale price). To Shaw’s defense you can mix or match items on sale, some not all. We use the Shaw’s app to get saving on the groceries. We bought 26 items and spent $54.93 after a $24.90 Store and “For U” saving was deducted. Give Shaw’s four stars because of the structure receiving their sale items.

Despite not always having what one is looking for, which is no different than many other places BUT what Shaw's does seem to have is plenty of nice, friendly& very helpful staff!! That's almost as good as having my favorite ice cream back on sale! So thank you to ALL CSR's at Shaw's in Bath and to the rest of you who no matter your trade, if it involves dealing directly with the public or if you are the one driving the loads of products or piloting a cargo ship-if it enables us in our daily lives as we ALL still have to get through each day in spite of these difficult times! So if this includes you, then think of all of us who DO appreciate you, while old, grumpy cronies are yelling at you!! Jokes aside, thank you ya'll deserve praise and to those of us who are reliant on you&your job being done, try having a little patience while grocery shopping and quit thinking you are the only person in the room!!

Elections and placement seems odd always geared towards the store brand rather than the name, feels as though they force you to their own brands. The store seems dirty at times and I have found moldy food on multiple occasions, from containers being broken, which seems an honest mistake, to bread from their on bakery, where almost all of the they're particular type of roll(pretzel roll I believe) I told the attendant seemed uninterested and annoyed. Prices on items that I usually get are 1-3 dollars more than they would be at say Hannafords(Tomas English muffins, 2 for 4 dollars at Hannafords, but 4.29 for a single package at Shaw's.) They have improved their self checkout so it lets you scan more than 1 item before you place it in the bag, so it goes a bit quicker now.

They've got a great selection of goods that is unrivaled when it comes to other big box stores, however the price comes at the cost of such a diverse selection. Good place to shop for things you wouldn't find in walmart, such as a larger selection of liquor, very good deals when they have them, and usually isn't as unfriendly as other box freight stores of larger chains.

Yesterday I had the opportunity to spend 6 hours in the parking lot of Shaw's during the Non-Food Bank donation drive. I was so impressed with the employees, especially the young people who were gathering the grocery carts endlessly and at a hopping speed! Iason, Rhianon and Jason were particularly gracious as we took up some of their space, and always had a smile even when customers almost ran into them in their cars, or walked right in front of them, when they were ready to give the big push into the store. I didn't get to know the names of the later shift, but they also did a tough job on a cold day very professionally. The manager also was very efficient and really impressed me with her "we can get it done" attitude. Thank you Shaw's Bath for not only the great organic produce and great store, but the happy attitude and hard work even outside the store!

This is the closest Shaw's to our home. The produce department is hit or miss. Many fresh vegetables go bad quickly. I've seen completely empty shelves here. I have not always been able to find some pretty common meat selections. The employees are around but many don't seem to care if I'm looking for items. There are a number of the younger cashiers who are very helpful. There seems to be a shortage of employees to help with bagging.We have started doing the bulk of our grocery shopping at the Cook's Corner store which is a 10 to 15 minutes farther away.

Doors are backwards. Aisle signs run perpendicular to aisles. There's no "14 items or fewer" checkout. I like Shaws, but this location needs some help. Still better than the Cooks Corner Hannaford.

The staff are exceptional for a large grocery store, though the prices are a bit high. The area has been gentrifying in recent years so expect to run into customer types that come with that.

Sold me a block of moldy cheese and would not replace it because I did not have the receipt. Figured they should be able to look up my transaction but I guess they are not interested or don’t have the time for customer service. I don’t recommend spending your money at this establishment. Not the first I’ve heard of food past it’s prime being sold at this location.

I always get octopus salad via my fiancé stopping in. Several times now I have chewed beaks, had to empty heads and found faint orange colored plastic shards in it and a time where there were thinner clear plastic shards. Not sure if it is made at the store or not, but I shouldn’t be having to pick apart and clean out already “prepared” octopus on my own. Not is it safe or sanitary to be getting small plastic pieces. It’s sad but I can’t find them anywhere else and I’m literally obsessed with seafood. I wish the quality and safety In this product would improve 😞 I would have called to make them aware but I share one active phone with my fiancé.

Theresa at the service desk is amazing!! We don't normally shop here so we were unfamiliar with where to find certain items. We asked a grocery associate for help, he left to go look and we waited 15 minutes until we realized he just wasn't coming back. But Theresa answered our questions (we had a few LOL) quickly and kindly!

Great store clean, offers a pretty good variety. It's a little pricey, but not enough to discourage. I'll continue my weekly grocery shopping at Shaw's. Some good deals too so I must be on the lookout.
