My partner really loved her lobster roll and I liked my crab roll. Both were good yes, but what was truly spectacular was the blueberry pie with ice cream. Employees were helpful and if you get there early the wait shouldn’t be bad. Parking was available too, as was ample outside seating.

I grew up in this area, and haven't lived here for some time. Back in the day there used to be snack bar / dairy bars like this scattered through the area. They have all since dried up or been bought out by people. This is the first time in decades that I've had decent onion rings, the way I'm used to from my earlier life. They were cooked perfectly, the frying oil is pristinely clean. That keeps the onions tasting nice and light. The cheeseburger I had was excellent, probably a premade Patty but still tasty. The difference is it was cooked by somebody who knows what they're doing. The bun was absolutely perfectly grilled. With a little butter and still crispy on the face. How refreshing it is to be able to get a decent cheeseburger and some real onion rings. The onion rings even come with a nice dipping sauce it has a little twang of horseradish. I highly recommend this place! They even bring the food to your table, and you can sit at the picnic tables and join the shade and a nice breeze. To me it just gets no betterKid-friendliness: 24 flavors of soft ice cream and much much more in hard ice cream.Wheelchair accessibility: This dairy Bar is on a flat surface and easily accessible from cars

A new place to check out on the island. This is a lovely dairy stand type place with good seafood and plenty of outdoor picnic table seating. There is a fire pit at night to keep you cozy while you drink a few beers and a large, sturdy tent if you want to be a bit warmer. There is plenty of parking. Looks like it will be open past the tourist season which earns it an extra star.

This place just opened up recently and I love it's atmosphere. People seemed to enjoy it. The food was good and service was fantastic. I highly recommend stopping by for something to eat after or before you stop at Bass Harbor Lighthouse. It definitely hits the spot.

Visited two weeks ago. Lobster roll was delicious. A little pricey but probably the best roll we had while in ME. Absolutely loved the blueberry pie! Great little spot on the way to Bass Harbor.

Way too pricey. Lobster roll was pretty good, could've used a little bit more butter. With the fries and slaw it was really filling. Live music was nice. They need to bring their prices down to compete more.

Not much to look at. Just off the side of the road. They do have picnic benches to sit on and a tent for shade. We stopped twice and had dessert both times so I can’t speak for the hot food but the ice cream is yummy and the blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream is some of the best on the island! Take a nice ride out there and check it out!

I've been here twice, 2021 and 2023, with a wonderful ice cream cone on both occasions, plus a full dinner in 2021. I love the small, local vibes of this type of walk-up quick serve establishment, and the seating area with cornhole and fire pits make you feel like part of the neighborhood while you're here. This stand is close to the Bass Harbor Lighthouse, and I find it is a great place to stop as the sun is setting after a day in Acadia for a nice meal or snack to finish off the day.Parking: No real set spots, park where ever you fit on the gravel lotWheelchair accessibility: Everything is flat and outdoors; it is a gravel/dirt surface but it appears firm.

A nice experience, very friendly, enjoyed my fish tacos and happy they served beer as well. Not great quality but fine for what we wanted! Cole slaw tasted a bit funny.

the girl who took our order was so rude. she’s didn’t greet us at all when we walked up to the counter. i said hi and she didn’t respond. i asked for a hot fudge sundae with the peanut butter soft serve and she gave me an attitude about how it would be too melty and was not nice at all. i used to work at an ice cream shop and our sundaes were primarily made with soft serve. i honestly wouldn’t be writing this review because i work in customer service, but she was awful and no one should be treated like that for no reason.

As a family of four with two young kids, we opted to stay in Southwest Harbor which we knew would be quiet but we didn’t know that any option for post-dinner ice cream closes at 7-8pm. Super annoying. HOWEVER, we were pleasantly surprised to come across this new joint on a drive to Bass Harbor, and it was open until 9pm. Sold! The ice cream (soft and hard serve, lots of flavors) was great and the service was friendly. The picnic area was clean and tables are new. Definitely worth a visit. We will head back to try their other food soon.

Really good food, and great location between bass harbor light house and pretty swamp marsh. Good place to grab a bite to eat while on the quiet side of Acadia. Wide variety of options, not just lobster!
