Delicious!!! Some locals at a lobster stand told me this is the best place for ice cream. They have TONS of flavors. We tried the pistachio, pumpkin chip, cookie butter, strawberry cheesecake, and cookies and cream. I think the pumpkin chip needed more pumpkin flavor, but it was all delicious. The pistachio was incredible with good pistachio flavor and a great number of pistachios. The cookie butter was like biscoff cookie crumbs and was absolutely divine!

Three visits in three days. Lives up to it's name. everyone loved it. Home made waffle cones were terific. Clean large location with ample parking. Tried the wild Maine blueberry in a waffle cone and really enjoyed it. Dark chocolate and cookies & cream were big hits with the kids. Added bonus is directly across the street is an awesome mini golf park. Treat yourself and try this ice cream place.

Great ice cream!! The serving sizes were large, the flavors were delicious, and everything was so unique. There were many different options and specialty flavors. We really enjoyed looking at all the different special types of sundaes. It was busy but the line moved fast. We would definetly go back to this place. I highly recommend stopping. Very kid friendly. Very adult friendly.

Great spot just a quick ride down the road from downtown Bar Harbor. We got the whoopie pie and blueberry. Both were awesome. Portions are big!! Great spot.

I love ice cream! This was udder heaven because of the hard scoop ice cream was delicious with large servings. So good! The Maine blueberry ice cream was delicious (according to my spouse). The mint chocolate chip ice cream was good but unfortunately not the best. The chips were good sized and crunchy, and there were bits of mints (like andies-mints) but the color was brownish as I was told they used spinach to dye the ice cream ‘green.’ I ate the whole serving of ice cream but I was expecting green mint chocolate chip ice cream.We visited mid-afternoon when there was no line during the week. We’d definitely go back and recommend this fine establishment! Places to sit and enjoy. Plenty of parking. 👍

I had the Heath crunch. Wife had the Raspberry. Obviously quality ingredients. Do not be misled by the names of the cones. The Baby Cherub was more than enough for both of us. We had to power through to finish them. Delicious!

Do not go if you have any allergies. Staff are untrained on allergen safety and do not have access to an ingredient list with actual ingredients.Update: When asked for an ingredient list, staff pulled out 2 binders but would not let me look at either to confirm what the list was or if allergens were listed. They stated multiple times that my allergen was not listed, so they were unable to confirm that it contained it, which makes zero sense. There was no manager or or comparable staff who could help the young staff trying to assist me. When I visited the website after the owners angry response I was again unable to access an ingredients list only a possible contamination list, which is not the same. If this ice cream place was as allergen friendly as they suggest the 3 staff who tried to help would not have been so confused. I hope in the future the managers provide the support and training their staff need rather then leaving them alone to struggle.

SO GOOD. SO MANY Ice cream flavors!! So many sundae options! So many choices! Basically you need to go back every day so you can try everything :) Unfortunately I was only able to go once, but it was delicious!This is a walk-up place, no indoor seating.

Huge list of flavors. Absolutely loved my Raspberry Fudge Chip with Chocolate and Peanut Waffle Cone and so did my family. They all went for my flavor when finished with theirs. This was one scoop, so if you’re looking for small go the baby size.

I really enjoyed my lemon gingersnap and cookie butter flavors…..until I found a piece of plastic in my ice cream. Overall a great selection of flavors and reasonable portions, just got a little grossed out by the plastic

What you see in the pictures is just two scoops. Huge and delicious. There's always some line, but it goes fast, and the ice cream is totally worth it. I recommend you try blueberry- a little piece of heaven.

This ice cream was delicious!!! I had the blueberry cheesecake, my wife had mint chocolate chip, and my daughter had black raspberry, and they were all great! We all liked the blueberry cheesecake ice cream the best. It had big chunks of blueberries and cheesecake. We will definitely return!

Some of the best ice cream I’ve had, and I’ve had a lot over the years. The Maine Blueberry has real blueberries in it and the black raspberry has great flavor. They have a huge selection of flavors and creative sundae options as well. Super fast and polite service with a smile to boot!

Anyone who isn’t giving this place 5 stars needs to reconsider their life choices. Will they ever be happy? SO GOOD. The blueberry cheesecake ice cream will change your life. A lot of people seem to be complaining about the line? Well in my experience a line is a good sign! Truly the best ice cream I’ve ever had.

Long lines, no problem. These guys have it down. Ice cream options were endless and delicious. The servings were huge and the toppings were generous. The staff was super friendly and helpful. All you can ask for. 5 easy stars!

We are visiting and really enjoyed this place when we came 2 years ago so we came back. We have 8 people in our family and spent $55 on ice cream. When we received it, my one daughter’s cone was a total mess, mine had about 10 sprinkles on top when I ordered sprinkles on it, my other daughter’s cone was also a huge mess with barely any sprinkles. I asked for them to add more sprinkles to mine, and it turned out fine but when my daughter asked, the girl rolled her eyes at her and she turned around hastily to do it. My daughter has worked at a popular well run homemade ice cream store at the jersey shore and knows ice cream and customer service and has been there for 5 years through college and said if she ever rolled her eyes at a customer she would have been fired. She was upset and she had a mess of a cone that wasn’t scooped properly, that we needed to get cups for after, as did two of my other family members and we were left a bit upset feeling after how we were treated. Honestly it all would have been fine and we would have looked past the scooping issues if the one girl hadn’t rolled her eyes about the sprinkles that weren’t done properly and we had paid for.*****Edit ~I changed my review to a four star after a personal response from the owner. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond and next time we are in town we will give your place another try. The ice cream was definitely good, and once again, thanks for your reply Bob.

Great variety of flavors, high quality ice cream. Loved the Toasted Peach Praline! Lots of fun sundae options, too, like the Whoopie in Paradise I had with chocolate peanut butter ice cream!

Amazing. So good we went back twice. I had the brownie sundae and it was so freaking good. Great hot fudge and great salted caramel. Really fun vibe there too and super nice folks. Highly recommend the blueberry ice cream too-worth it!

Okay if you just want something easy and cute. Good variety of flavors, but ice cream was underwhelming. Way too sweet, super melty and not very creamy. Waffle cone was disappointing.

Wow! Wonderful ice cream! And that's the largest banana split we've ever seen. Hubby ate on it for 3 days. I chose a cup of ice cream, and it was huge too. Great place and lots of choices!

Fantastic ice cream and you can pretty much have them make it however you want. The servings are huge so know that ahead of time! I became somewhat addicted and went more than I should have during my week long stay in the area but it's that good. The only slightly confusing thing is about exactly where you go to order and wait etc. There is a BBQ type place attached so it was just a little confusing. The staff was friendly but they don't really offer up anything unless you ask. Definitely worth a stop. Or 3. I was there in summer.

I feel bad about leaving one star considering we were unable to try the ice cream, so I will leave two. Drove from Bar Harbor because this place was highly recommended and we are visiting from Florida. We pulled into the lot at 7:53 and as soon as the staff saw our car pull up they took down the open sign and boarded up the windows.

We had several delicious treats off the menu, the service was very fast despite how busy they always seem to be. We ordered an ice cream cake for a special birthday a few days later and Bob was very responsive to our email inquiry and order, the cake was awesome. This is how successful businesses are run, great products and exceptional service. Highly recommend Udder Heaven.

The line was long but went quickly. The staff was friendly. The blueberry ice cream was delicious and the serving size was large. I also like the creative Heaven theme of the business. If we go to Maine again we will definitely come here again!

One of the best ice cream shops in MDI. We came here after my girlfriend raved about it on her last trip. It did not disappoint!
