This store had a little bit of everything in it! I honestly think you could only go in this gift shop and you would be just fine. As much fun as it is to peruse the main street in Bar Harbor, if you were in a rush and could only make one stop, this is the stop I would recommend! Perfect mixture of merch focused on marine life and outdoors/hiking life. The local-made jams and stuff were the cherry on top! We got the most beautiful children’s book here around sand and I can’t wait to read it again and have that memory at home.

This store is truly charming in every way! The layout was well-done and the products displayed made it easy to find what interests you. From blueberry syrup and honey to a Maine dish towel and postcards, I loved everything about this store!

Selection here was fantastic. They had a range of almost everything Maine! Jams, Beer, candy, art, etc. It was great shopping in and I felt as if price was fair. Very organized and hard to leave empty handed!

Definitely worth the stop when strolling Bar Harbor—many high quality souvenirs! Be sure to get some fudge too—we bought many small squares and they lasted us a few days on our travels out east!

We love this store! We went in 3 separate times, twice in one day, don’t judge! The salt water taffy is amazing and the fudge, omg just get some! All the staff was really kind and helpful! Can’t wait for our next trip back to the area.

Everything you can dream of getting - is here. Tons of local made goodies. Everything (or mostly everything) seems to be made in Maine. Blueberry heaven for sure. Something for EVERYONE here. We got all our family & friends goodies from here while on vacation.

I was looking at the fudge case trying to see if they had a chocolate pecan fudge as a gift, when I heard a woman's voice behind me say, "Are you going to just look at the case, or are you going to buy something?" I had literally just gotten to the case when I heard this. It did not register with me at the moment that she was talking to me, but when we left, my husband asked, "Did you hear what that woman said?" Had I realized she was talking to me, I would have not made the purchase. I didn't realize there was a time limit on looking at the fudge case. Not a good experience.Thanks so much for the kind offer of free samples. This was our first trip to Maine and Bar Harbor and the length of our stay precluded our return trip to your store. I appreciate the gesture, however.

A cool place to pick up souvenirs in Bar Harbor, Maine, the Acadia Country store is always worth a visit. For fans/cult members of Moxie soda, you'll find some apparel and other goodies here too. A nice mix of merchandise makes this an entertaining place to visit.

We found this to be the best store on Main Street. What struck us was the great variety of products and items you didn’t see in all the other stores. You could get T-shirts, food, decorations, ornaments, household items. Also they were very high-quality.

The store is typical Bar Harbor. BUT unlike a lot of places that serve or make fudge, this one lets you buy a small slice of whichever ones you want. I think I tried 8-9 of them for less then $10. Out of all the shopping I did, this was the coolest to me. Can't wait to go back next year!

Nice cozy little shop that sells baked goods in addition to some local favorite jellies, drinks and more. Stopped in and purchased a few items as Christmas gifts during my stay a few weeks ago, and really enjoyed my experience at this store.

really cool shop, gifts or souvenirs for all ! After we left we realized i was charged $9.99 for eight (8) pieces of salt water taffy, so keep an eye on that. Not sure if it was a mistake or if it really is that expensive. Otherwise a great shopping experience.

You can find some truly unique treasures and gifts here plus their fudge is to die for. The customer service was amazing letting us try huge pieces of all the fudge flavors before we made our purchase.

I wouldn’t give this place your business - this place is horrible. The manager working (Kate) was extremely rude and even looked mean. The front counter employee (JT) looked pained each time he had to ring something up - the owner of this establishment should seriously consider whether having both work in their store is best for business. So rude and such a horrible experience.
