We love the picturesque property as well as the food! Our server was busy but pleasant and helpful. The milk stout was amazing, as was the bourbon maple cocktail. We enjoyed snacking on the fried chickpeas, and enjoyed three types of pizza. The crust was thin and so good, with an interesting variety of toppings. We shared the chocolate beer cake dessert - perfect ending to a lovely dinner.

If I could give Sweet Pea's 10 stars I would! We had our micro-wedding and ceremony on the farm and it made for the most magical day I could have ever dreamed of. Christian was so assuring and easy to work with in terms of planning the afternoon. The food is incredible--fresh salads, locally sourced veggies and meats on pizzas, tastiest oysters and delicious baked desserts. The drinks were refreshing and infused with herbs from their garden. Everything here felt so wholesome, warm, friendly, and inviting. Thank you Jon (+ staff) for taking care of us on our special day! We can't wait to return next year.

If you want a place with amazing views, great vibes and the best food ever, this is the place! Visiting Acadia and did NOT want the typical lobster shack, fried fish type of place and stumbled upon this true hidden gem in the area. The salads are so fresh! Lots of vegetarian options, enough variety to please everyone in your party.

Great location for outdoor dining, although we chose to get takeout on our visit. Really enjoyed the very friendly customer service and a couple of excellent local beers while waiting on our order. Got there shortly after 5:00 on a Tuesday and was extremely busy. To go ordering was quick, and was delivered with a smile before I finished my beer. Pizzas were good and perfectly cooked.

Found this perfect little spot on our first night in Acadia. The atmosphere was unbelievable....outdoor farm setting overlooking a field with a fire pit. We had the oysters and I can honestly say, I have never tasted any as good! We also had the roasted veggies, meatballs, field greens and a plain and veggie pizza. Everything was outstanding. Small but very good selection of beers on tap. Bees were more of a nuisance but didn't bother us if we ignored them. Brought our dog who sat quietly at the table in a carrier while we ate. Would highly recommend and plan to visit again.

Best place in Bar Harbor. First off, loved the outdoor seating and the view of the farm. The staff was friendly, and we loved the ambiance created. We started off with the oysters and they were incredible. We ordered the lamb paté which was to die for and our pizza was super yummy too. Lastly, the chocolate rhubarb tart was delicious. For being locally sourced, the food was surprisingly affordable. Will definitely come back the next time we’re in the area. Only complaint - bring a jacket! They don’t have outdoor heaters.

One of the best places to get food and hang out on MDI. Family comes back every year and we never miss a stop at sweet peas. The food is always delicious and sourced locally, great drinks, incredible service, and the atmosphere is awesome.Vegetarian options: Several appetizer and salad options, the harvest pizza is always on the menu with delicious roasted veggies and mushrooms, there’s also usually a veggie option for pizza specials.Parking: Large gravel parking lot, sometimes gets full when its busy but there are usually enough people going in and out

Amazing food, fantastic vibe. The outdoor seating was wonderful, with a fire pit and provided blankets for a chilly evening. The bourbon maple sour was delightful. The plancha potatoes was perfectly cooked. The pizzas were some of my favorite wood fired pizzas of all time with simple but super fresh and delicious ingredients. The provided a confit vegetable dip for the crust (which was perfectly chewy and crispy) which was a lovely surprise. Only very small downside was that the very nice and accommodating staff seemed to be understaffed, but honestly we didn’t wait too long and they were very kind.

Well kept secret! This charming Cafe offers outdoor seating overlooking the garden and pond, you can also get takeout. The food is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the lemonade, it was the best I've ever had. The pizza was great with lots of veggies and the cheesecake was amazing.

Yummy cocktails and quickly done wood fired pizzas. There is only outside seating and you had to wait for over an hour for a table so we got it to go. Farm to table veggies on the mixed greens salad were fresh and the meatballs are gluten free. Next to a winery if you get there before 5, the cafe only opens at 4 on certain days. Seems like a limited menu right now than what I remember from coming here before, but still a good choice.

Delicious food, awesome atmosphere, great music selection and very friendly staff! Also pet friendly. The cafe has amazing wood-fired pizza and a great beer selection! They even have blankets to use if it’s too chilly outside and a bonfire going for people to sit around. Highly recommend to anyone driving through and looking for a place to stop for dinner!

Had a delicious veggie pizza topped with zucchini, cauliflower, and carrots. It had an excellent crust and the cheese was exceptional.Washed it all down with a crisp hard cider. The staff was amazing and attentive. It's all outdoor seating surrounded by gardens and fields. A lovely setting for a quiet dinner.

Some of the best wood fired pizza we have had! Pumpkin crisp was also delicious, and excellent cocktails. Great service, everyone was super friendly. It was a chilly night, but blankets were offered which made it cozy. While we loved all of the lobster we had on our visit to Maine, my husband and I agreed that this was our favorite meal of the trip!

Very nice farm to table bistro. Many of veggies grown on property. The rest are locally sourced. Very healthy options on menu with a few vegetarian options. Food tried is fantastic. Very flavorful and well presented. Have a moderate beer selection and several good wines in the local to global menu. They do have a bar as well as dining tables inside. Dry nice outside patio area with fire pits. Highly recommend the pizzas, salads, and potato salad. Potato salad is amazing with dill/ lemon dressing.Will definitely visit when back in the area.

its gonna be a long wait and they don’t take reservations but if the weathers nice you barely feel like you’re waiting. theres a fire pit and our server brought us blankets while we were eating cause it was a little cold. we ended up being there for about 2 and a half hours total. the food was definitely worth the wait. and some of the best cocktails ive ever had. overall very pleasant environment

I eat at Sweet Peas frequently. The chef and general staff love great food and this is, great food. Farm to table- they grow much of their own produce and purchase locally for super fresh food. The mussels in a tomato cream sauce is to die for. They get their mussels locally, daily. The pizzas are first class- handmade, thin crust- unique toppings that I highly suggest you try.If you go during their off peak hours the owner/chefs will talk to you- they are passionate about food and they travel and try many different wonderful restaurants for education and inspiration.Thanks Christian and Nicole. Christian went WAY above our expectations for a small intimate wedding ceremony. From getting the grounds ready, to the incredible pizzas and charcuterie boards to the bar service....we couldn't have asked for anything more!Vegetarian options: Christian came up with a great dish that went over huge with my sister and her husband who are vegan.

In a town full of tourist traps and greasy spoons this place is a GEM. Food (we got wood fired pizzas) was great, the staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the whole vibe of the place was amazing! Will definitely be back to eat outside in the garden. As a 20 year hospitality vet I give them an A+!

Went here for an early dinner after a long day of hiking and fishing in Acadia. Location is so nice! We sat on the patio and enjoyed a beautiful sunny afternoon. Food was great. We started with the farm salad, which was delicious. The watermelon radishes garnished on top were so good. We then got a daily special of hush puppies with pecorino and a sauce. All of it was good, but the sauce really stole the show. We then got The Hunter pizza. It was delicious. Finished up with a trio of cookies, which was great. Only wished we had discovered this place earlier than our last day of vacation as we would have gone again. Will definitely plan to visit if we find ourselves up in this area in the future though!

We stayed in Bar Harbor for a long weekend and this was the best meal we had!!! Such a great ambiance, very clean with Covid and incredible food. This was our last night and so happy we came here. Suggest getting there a little on the early side, we got there around 545/6 and only had to wait about 20 mins. They give you your drinks and you can enjoy them by the fire pit. Not too far from downtown bar harbor, a must if you’re staying in the area!

Beautiful place, service was excellent. We sat outside and enjoyed the view. Disappointed in the food. It is most likely very good but they were busy and really skimped on the pizza toppings. Our Ranger pizza was basically a cheese pizza-only had a few small bites of chicken and some slices had none of the veggies. Our harvest pizza was mostly crust, had very little to no sauce, not many vegetables and we asked to add olives-it looked like they threw on two as an afterthought. An amazing place, they need to do a better job with the food.

Absolutely beautiful spot! We have been coming to MDI for years during the summer and Sweet Pea’s is a staple especially when you eat lobster each night up here! Lots of pizza options! As an individual allergic to both gluten and dairy plenty of options with the specials! The meatballs are gluten free and delicious! I don’t remember last time I had meatballs that were gluten free! Seafood is fresh and delicious!Vegetarian options: Roasted vegetables tons of fishDietary restrictions: Very accommodating of gluten free! And gluten free meatballs!! and lots of vegetarian options.

Food was very good. Atmosphere was awesome. Service was horrible. Our waitress took our order of food, and we all wanted water after a long day hiking.She even said we were her easiest table of 8….kind of snarky.She dropped off 2 pitchers of water and never came back to the table.We had to order an extra pizza from the food runner who brought out our dinner. And that was incorrect too.Had to go to hostess stand to get and pay our bill. I told the owner our waitress disappeared and we needed the bill. All she cared about was how our food was.Expect a long dinner service. Almost 1.5 hrs for food and closing out of check. (Just pizza)

Everything was great here. The family and I had a wonderful time! We spent a couple hours here. Our girls explored the garden. We hung out by the fire pit. The view is cool. Clean facilities. The staff was friendly and attentive the whole time. Food was amazing we had pizza salad and a pork chop. Rhubarb pie and chocolate cake what different and stupendous. Our kind of place! Going back for sure!
