A true artisan boutique with a lovingly curated collection from which you can bring home beautiful and unique Maine memories! I searched through dozens of Bar Harbor shops looking for a pair of touchstone earrings to remind me of the peace and joy I felt in Acadia this summer. Finally, I found delicate, handmade silver earrings shaped like blueberry leaves in My Darling Maine. Perfect!I wore them to work my first day back - and lost one. I was heartbroken. But I contacted Victoria to buy a replacement, and she took the time to send me individual pictures of every pair of blueberry leaf earrings she had in the shop (because they're all unique!) so I could choose. And then she mailed them to me in Virginia.Now my beautiful blueberry leaf earrings are a sweet reminder of our family vacation in Maine AND of the power kindness can have over loss. Thank you, Victoria!!!

This is a very unique and original little gift shop. I very much appreciated that the items were not all the same little things you could get everywhere else. The store was open and didn't feel claustrophobic, and was easy to shop even when a little bit busy. You should definitely stop here if you're looking for gifts or souvenirs in Bar Harbor.

My sister lives in Bar Harbor, but I live in CA. So I called My Darling Maine hoping they could put together a birthday gift basket and deliver it to my sister. The owner, Victoria, went above and beyond! She took the time to ask me about my sister's work, family, and interests. Then she put together several different possible baskets with different themes and sent me pictures. She let me pick and choose items that stood out to me until we had created a beautiful basket together that added up to my price point. Victoria delivered the gift herself, right to my sister at her house on her birthday. I was so impressed with Victoria and her shop, I highly recommend this business!

Amazing store with exceptional customer service! I originally visited the store in June 22 when I purchased a outfit for my soon-to-arrive granddaughter. The cashier at the time offered to gift wrap the outfit while my girlfriend and I ate next door. My girlfriend regretted not buying a pair of locally-made earrings at the time, but when I returned to Maine in August I called the store and Victoria (owner) helped me identify the earrings my girlfriend had seen in June and shipped them to my home in Texas! What a great help and amazing, courteous customer service. Lots of unique, quality items in the store - you won't regret making time to stop by and visit!

I was looking for a last minute (read: day of) birthday gift that could be delivered to a dear friend who lives near the boutique (I live in a different state). Victoria went above and beyond to be helpful! We talked through what I wanted, she sent me various pictures of potential items, and then she sent pictures of the final gift. It was an absolute pleasure to have stellar customer service be part of a shopping experience. I highly recommend this shop and working with Victoria!!!

What an amazing lady!!! I called her two months in advance to help me create the perfect locally sourced "Maine representative" gift basket. She ran with it! It's hard to describe how perfect it was. Things from all over the local area, like lip balm that supports anti-bullying programs and dessert wines from a local Vinyard. A hand thrown pottery rhubarb leaf, lotion, a puffin handbag, just amazing. She did what you wish everyone would do in this situation. She made it into something SHE would want to receive. Thank you so much! It was the first thing she saw on our anniversary and it set the tone better than anything else I could think of. Perfect!We love the shop and I wish we could have bought one of everything else that was in there!

What a great little shop! We met Victoria and her dog Boris this morning while getting coffee and I had to stop by the store to check it out. Grabbed a great gift for my girlfriend and enjoyed some good conversation about community and Maine. Definitely recommend swinging through while in Bar Harbor!

Great gift shop. I ordered online for Xmas gift and Victoria took care of me. Nice selection for... My wife... My Mom... My Dad even... And found stuff my son and daughter (collegestudents)... Everything was great. Shipments arrived as scheduled... Early even. If you don't see something online that you see in the photos... Make a phone call... Victoria takes the extra step to make you happy!

Great selection and amazing atmosphere. Most importantly, it’s run by an awesome owner. She was so kind that when we asked for recommendations for lunch, she went out of her way to call Peekytoe to make sure they were open. Couldn’t have left happier, it’s a must stop when you visit Bar Harbor.

We visit BH often and this is one of our favorite shops. The owner is great and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. She carries a great selection of unique items, and doesn’t focus on “cheap touristy” stuff that most of the other shops sell. We always find great unique gifts here.

This lovely little boutique is a must stop if you’re visiting Bar Harbor! Lots of local Maine made items. The owner was incredibly helpful and so very generous to offer me some wrapping paper at no charge. I will be stopping in again when I visit the area.

Love this little island shop ❤️ I always stop by when I visit Bar Harbor. The shop owner is so sweet and is very knowledgeable about all of the product in the shop. It’s always fun to talk to her about the various products. Can’t wait to visit again, and find some new treasures ❤️
