Our pup Cathy had a great day and night here while we were doing some of the non dog-friendly trails in Acadia. The staff was very kind, helpful, and loving towards the animals. We ended up missing the pickup window to get our dog due to traffic and they were very understanding; made sure we were still able to take her home and never acted rude or Inconvenienced by our lateness

This was our first time coming to Acadia Woods for grooming. My golden retriever is very sweet but very nervous about leaving me. The staff was very understanding and kind and worked with me to have her done as quickly as possible. She looks lovely and is happily home now taking a nap. Thank you!

Can't say enough good things about Acadia woods! Our little man had never been to a kennel before, came home not-traumatized and happy. When we came to pick him up, he was outside playing with friends. Amazing ! Knowing he was in good hands made our vacation so much less stressful. Thank you ❣️

Was in Acadia NP for 5days.Wanted to hike Beehive and Precipice so needed to board my Shepherd for 1day.He has knees problems and all the workers were so nice, answered all my questions/worries, and loved my boy Ranger.Great people and location, and his knees were fine afterwards. 5/5

I was nervous about leaving him because we've never borded him but needed to for just the day. Very friendly staff and asked who my dog was as soon as I walked in the door as most people would do if you walked into another business and it was about you. I felt he was very well taken care of and would use them again if in the area.

Highly recommend!! We were on vacation in Acadia and did the day boarding for Paisley twice while we were there. She had a great time! She played all day with the other dogs and was happy and exhausted when she got home. The price is reasonable, the staff was so friendly.

I boarded my two medium shepherds here for the day, while we went whale watching, and this place was wonderful!. They made iteasy for us as first time boarders. Positivelyrecommend them!!

It's so awesome to have a clean, friendly, and safe place to keep your dog when you're traveling! Acadia Woods kept Ranger while we did some of the National Park's trails that don't allow dogs. We had been camping for a week and got caught in a rainstorm at our last site. Ranger came home clean and bathed and we can't say enough how thankfuk we are for them!

We had to go out of state and for the first time could not take our labrador with us. Being new residents, having recently moved across the country, it was quite the blessing to find this kennel. When I brought our dog in, the process was efficient and the facilities were remarkably clean and well maintained. After a week we picked up our sweet dog. He was happy and well cared for. The prices were fair and they were very accommodating with our travel schedule. We will definitely be coming back!

We dropped our pup off to spend the day here while we went hiking at Acadia and explored Bar Harbor. Absolutely great experience! We were greeted by Holly and she assured us that our little dog, Bentley would have a great time! When we picked him up at the end of the day he came out wagging his tail and happy! Highly recommend Acadia Woods Kennel!

Jennifer and Holly were fantastic and helped make our trip to Acadia go smoothly. We brought our two dogs along for a two week stay in Bar Harbor, but unfortunately our accommodations didn't allow pets. So the owner of the cottage we rented recommended Acadia Woods Kennel, and we were not disappointed. We mostly picked the dogs up in the morning and took them places, then dropped them back off in the afternoon, except for a few days when we left them there all day. Jennifer and Holly were great with our family coming and going throughout our vacation there, and they took great care of our dogs. When one of our dogs got bit by something on one of our hikes, Holly called up her vet for us, just as a precaution. She also bathed and cleaned them up for us the day before we drove home. We weren't sure how it would all work out, since it was the first time we'd taken our dogs along on a vacation, but Acadia Woods Kennel ended up being a perfect solution. We'd definitely use them again.

I have taken two different dogs in for grooming on many occasions for more than a decade. I chose this groomer because I had so many people recommend them to me. My dogs always came out looking like fresh little puppies. They smelled very good and brushed out with very little shedding. They were obviously well cared for. In my opinion, Acadia Woods Kennel is a good choice for grooming.

We go upto bar harbor every year for a week during the summer. I had to find a daycare for our dog felix who couldnt do most of the activities we had planned. I was very nervous on leaving him since he's a rescue and I think he's had enough of shelters and kennels. But boy was he super happy all three days when I picked him up. I was even sent a txt msg with a picture of him enjoying himself. He stayed overnight our last night in Bar Harbor and was so happy when I picked him up. The only regret I have is not finding them sooner. The staff is great the facility very clean.

My dog was whinning while walking him out, both inside the building and all the way until we got to where we were staying. Also, my dog drank 3 bowls of water and 4 cups of food when he got back from this kennel. He was a sad pup! Keeping in mind my dog is a very easy going and friendly Golden Retriever. I was not impressed. I will not be taking him here again.Edit: We were called by the owners? at 730 in the morning the day after having our dog stay there to edit our review. It has been edited, but stays the same we will not be taking him there again and strongly recommend against it.

While spending the summer at Hadley Point Campground our Border Collie "Star" spent Fridays at Acadia Woods and we highly recommend them. Excellent facility, great staff and affordable.

Nice people but our dog came back with Kennel Cough. When we called, they stated a dog from their daycare was the potential carrier and there were several other dogs affected.

My dog came back to me noticeably skinner after 5 days there. Very skittish (not normal). Customer service was horrible. I was accused of saying things that I never did. I will not be using them again.
