We had such a fun time taking our pup, Bella, into Bark Harbor! This was our first time flying her on any of our vacations and it felt good to be able to get her a treat during our stay. We got her an adorable “Bark Harbor - Maine” leash and some play-resistant balls. We got our cat a lobster-shaped catnip toy as his souvenir. This shop has a little bit of everything from harnesses, leashes, and apparel to ball-caps for pets, calming meds for travel, and homemade, decorated pet treats! They also have free mini-dog bones and a water bowl outside the shop for thirsty pets. The shop owner was so sweet and showed us pictures of her dog as well. I can’t recommend this shop enough!

Great store for pups! They have all sorts of store made treats for dogs and gave lots of samples to our puppy. They posted his picture on their Instagram page! Very friendly service with treats our dog loved.

I stopped by when I was in town to check them out. Primarily the stock is stuff for dogs- treats, cookies, toys, collars, etc. I found a selection of cat treats and cute catnip squares with lobster and crab on them.My cats are big fans. They will play with the catnip toys for quite a while before they get bored. The whitefish treats smell super fishy! But the cats love love LOVE them. They go absolutely wild when I open up the bag.

We love stopping at Bark Harbor when we visit the area! We usually will buy something extra for our friend’s pet as a thank you for watching our cat, but we of course will always get something to spoil our cat while we’re there as well!We’ve always noticed a particular beaded cat decoration that reminded us of Martin. It would put a smile on our face since despite being in paradise that is MDI, we would always miss out little man. This season we finally asked about it and the owner was willing to give us a discount on it! Marty is not sure if his friend yet, but I think he’ll be okay once he knows he doesn’t have to share his treats haha! Yes, it’s cutesy dog stuff and homemade treats that you’re paying extra for because the package says Bar Harbor. But would you really come home after being away and greet your dog empty-handed? Of course not. The pumpkin treats were a big hit.

Great shop for pets and pet lovers!! There's a little bit of everything from treats, collars, leashes and toys as well as apparel for both pets and pet owners. There's also fun pawtery and a barkery with really cool looking and healthy treats for pets, all made with natural ingredients. There's a lot of breed specific merchandise as well.

My humans took me here to get me a new harness with lobsters on it.We walked in and all my favorite treats were at nose level (clever marketing).My humans had no idea how to put on my new harness so the kind owner of the store was very patient with them and showed them how to do it.We loved it so much, we went back the next day tooThis time I got a brand new squeaky toy!Would definitely recommend for my fellow pups and their humans.

Great pet store! My 2 fur babies absolutely love the blueberry pancake & the pumpkin cookies. I always have to get a couple bags of each of those flavors every time I'm in Bar Harbor. Friendly staff too!

They are so friendly here. We needed a new leash and they had such nice usa made collars and leashes, we ended up buying a new leash and collar. Very cool dog treats also, lots of items, everything from stickers to Christmas presents. Bark Harbor was our go too!

May not be the only pet store in Bar Harbor, but it’s for sure the best! Awesome variety of treats, harnesses, and even rain coats. We came into Bar Harbor on the last day of our trip to Maine and of course it was pouring. We got our dog a raincoat and were able to enjoy the day walking around and going into the shops.Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. And a big plus that many items in the store are made locally (including the raincoats).

Very cute store right downtown. You can tell that these people love animals and it shows in the selection of inventory they have. I think that every dog parent needs to pick up a rope lobster when on vacation to apologize for not bringing them along. We did not get any of the cookies but the pups that we did see enjoying them really seemed to like them.

Definitely not a pet store where you can buy dog food, but a cute and small little gift shop with lots of essential accessories (leashes, collars, bandanas, treats, etc.).

Bark Harbor is one of my favorite stores on the Island and one of my daughter's favorite ever. This is a great place to get something special for you furry baby whether small or big. They have everything from the top of the line essentials to the the little fun things. Awesome selection of leashes, collars, and bandannas. Great selection of toys and all natural treats and remedies. The owners are wonderful people and always have great advice for the best products for your pup. My daughter loves picking treats from the well stocked "barkery" for all her canine pals.

I make sure to come to this spot every year I visit Maine! What a wonderful little shop. There’s so many cute items to browse over, and the treats are a necessary to give to any pup. My lab devoured his shark shaped cookies. I will always come to bar(k) harbor just to get something for my pup(s). This store has been around since I was a small child, but the delight I receive from shopping here has yet to fade. Great store for any dog lover.

Small pet store on the strip in Bar Harbor. They have some fun dog treats if you are looking for something for you favorite four legged friends or the animal lovers in your life. Plenty of leashes and accessories if you are visiting and forgot something.

Libby is excellent! In just two sessions our sweet goldendoodle has improved tremendously. We have been practicing after lessons as she advised, but the techniques and routines she has implemented are so effective!Our dog was jumping and nipping as guests would enter our home and also would pull and jump during walks. After implementing the training she taught us, our dog does not pull on walks and has stopped nipping and leaping on new guests.The true indicator our dog was improving was that our family that knew our puppy’s behavior beforehand started complimenting us within a week that they have seen drastic positive changes in her behavior and were relieved they wouldn’t be pounced on and nibbled at when they came over.We will definitely continue training with Libby and are so impressed!

Dog friendly, not necessarily kid friendly. LOL, my son was tossing a soft shark toy back it a bin, it bounced out and tapped an employee on her shin, he and I both apologized and she scoffed and put it back w/out a word. Small shop with fun dog and cat paraphernalia, treats, toys and an assortment of leashes and collars. We were looking for a harness to fit our medium size pup and couldn't find one.

Fun dog-theme establishment. We bought our annual peanut butter dog biscuits. Friendly owner likes to talk about his dogs and cats. Lots of cool stuff that no one actually needs, but loves to have.
