Had a great customized trip with Alpenglow. Paddy was my guide and he tailored my experience based on my slightly advanced skill level. We did some awesome multi pitch climbing (a first for me) and I felt very safe and learned a ton! Highly recommend Alpenglow for climbing in Acadia.

These guys are cheap - they will nickel and dime you. I brought the crash pad rental back an hour late, they charged me a full extra day for it. Will never be back and will recommend all my friends to avoid. Contact me if you want to resolve.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. I was very happy to find a perfect-fitting pair of Oboz mid-high hiking boots (Sawtooth Mid BDry) on sale for 33% off. Just the thing for slogging(!) along the edges of the submerged sandbar to Bar Island and hiking around the rocky outcroppings in Acadia National Park nearby!

Not really a good experience. Three young guys just seatting at the store, not helpfull, a bit arrogant.Skip them. If you want to climb, I would suggest to contact Atlantic Climbing School, they're just a block from there

So check it out, I was in Bar Harbor and forgot a belt. Went into this place and both guys working helped me make one out of flat tube....AND THE ONE GUYS DOG COLLER . Best of the best, thanks fellas.
