I won’t take much longer on this because I’ve already lost nearly an hour and of my day messing around with the pharmacy already. Hours are wrong online. Staff is/was rude and they give no preference/priority to those who are there in person and/or in visible pain. Staff are visibly not happy and whatever they’re going through internally results in yet another terrible experience for me (this is not the first time, but it’s the last.). Customer service is definitely not a priority IMO. Time for a change.

I’ve always been lucky I guess and have had the most friendly and helpful staff in the pharmacy at Broadway store… both on phone and in person. I have no complaints at all only good and truthful comments to leave. If things were ever to change…. I’d be back to comment on the situation. Keep up with he great work at broadway Walgreens in Bangor…. You all are VERY pleasant HUMAN BEINGS.

Sure the people here are nice, but they don't answer the phone most times, and when they do, service is hit or miss. They have put me on hold, I waited 20 minutes, then they would pick up and "click" hang up without saying a word. Rude...that happened at least four times. Whats up with that? Also, I call in and the automatic prescription refill robot says my prescription will be ready at a certain time. I show up at that time and three times already---the prescription was not ready and I had to wait, or they were out of stock, or it was too early to fill. Then why say it will be ready to pick up? I have been using Walgreens pharmacies for 30 years, in Maine, Idaho and California. So far the Bangor Maine pharmacies have been the worst at competency. Yes, employees are nice, but it is not a well-oiled professional machine. Pharmacy employees socialize and joke around more than any pharmacies I have seen. I wish they would just get their act together. It would be a one star, but I gave them two stars because everyone is "short-staffed" these days and good employee teams are hard to find in 2022, because not enough workers.

Over the last year or year and a half, you guys (Walgreens broadway) have messed up my prescription five times. All with just simple paperwork and timing. The prescription I just picked up is the correct one but, because you did not have the right dosage, I’m required half 90 pills. You folks knew my medication and when my next pick date was??? Please try to improve.

I have to get covid test for work, I usually schedule them for 4pm but come in anytime between 9am-4pm. Typically I have no problem showing up any time of the day for my covid test, although this morning I showed up just an hour early and they REFUSED me. There was NO line but I was still told to come back within 10 minutes of my appointment time. This is the closest Walgreens 30 minutes from me, now I have to waste another hour of time!!!!

their hours are inaccurate both online and on their phone tree. I have now tried to pick up a prescription three times - the first time I was refused because I had no insurance, and the second and third times they were closed when they said they were open. What a joke

If you're trying to get your flu shot, I encourage you to go anywhere else. I was a half hour early to my appointment and I left 45 mins after my appointment time without my flu shot. There were 3 people in front of me when I left and one person was an hour and a half after his appointment time.

A man was needing help with western union and the staff just kept bringing someone else to “help”. A worker didn’t even know where the number was to call and then wouldn’t accept the number from the customer who had the number because he had done a transaction yesterday that had to be fixed which is why he was there in the first place. Western union customer service literally told him to go back to Walgreens so they could call them and verify it. They treated the customer very poorly, the staff were not friendly. Finally the manager came and it seemed that he was going to start to resolve the issue for the customer. The lady that was dealing with this situation did not handle it properly at all. She was short with him, and would not listen to the customer well.Other then that my transaction went smoothly, and I like the new tax on plastic bags that’s starting soon!

The staff here went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. My partner had a bad reaction to a vaccine and lost consciousness. The staff rushed to help us and the pharmacist, Kirk, came to check that everything was okay; offering us water and helping my partner recover. I'd wholeheartedly recommend this location on the character of the employees alone. Although it was an unusual experience, I was so impressed with the helpful reaction of the staff.

I put it in photo order. I went to pick up 20 minutes after the promised time. There was no one in sight of the photo counter. I waited for a while and then had to go find my own help. She then couldn’t find my order and was looking on the computer and what seemed like everywhere behind the counter. I told her I would come back later, but she insisted I stay there. After 5 more minutes of her looking and asking for my info more than once, she finally said it wasn’t ready. When I went back later in the evening, the next person had trouble finding my order as well. Luckily it was ready. They could use a more organized system than what they have.

I have had nothing but bad experiences with all the local Walgreens locations. I was a patron of Rite Aid for 20 years and had no problems. Walgreens took over and it’s been problem after problem. They have lost my prescriptions, can’t find me or my children in their system. The most recent and major issue with Walgreens is that they didn’t stay current with the CDC’s recommendations concerning COVID and Vaccinations which caused a major issue with my children returning to school in the fall.

This is the absolute worst pharmacy there is! The Bangor Maine Broadway location is constantly behind, appointments are never on time! We had a script called in yesterday at noon at 11:23 the next day it’s still not filled! Called at 8:00 am saying it was being worked on and would be done shortly! I guess shortly to them is 5-6 hours! I’m taking my business elsewhere!

Have seen the cashier tell three customers they smell like cannabis, but not in such a nice way. Doesn't seem to want to help many people around the store. Hope they enjoyed my rev bomb on the way out.

It was very hard to even get a flu shot. It has taken almost an hour now. I’m very disappointed in thier ability to communicate with each other. No one knew what was going on, instead of taking with me they talked to each other about this person needs this and this person needs that but we were over looked. I am not impressed!

Had an apportionment for the rapid Covid test, appointment was set for 4:30PM and waited also it and hour and half just to be seen there pharmacy drive they line is constantly busy and there service is extremely slow. Don’t do my business here unless I absolutely have to.

Ever since taking over Rite Aid things have gone down hill. I know it takes time to adjust but the wait time on picking up your medications sometimes is frustrating. I’m hoping things start to run smoother for you guys

Called my prescription in two days ago. Was told by automated person that they had been trying to reach me to refill my prescription, yet I never received a voicemail. Order was supposed to be ready for pickup at 11 am today. My spouse changed his schedule at work to get out an hour early so he could pick up my prescription before they close at 8 since he would be working at 11. He shows up and they're out of stock. He was told to come back in tomorrow between 10-2 when their truck comes in, but to call first. I never received a call to let me know they were out of stock and by the time my spouse came home without the medication I couldn't call because they're closed and don't have a voicemail. Now I have one day left of my meds and have to drive into town tomorrow, DURING A SNOWSTORM, to get medication I was told I could pick up today. I'll be looking elsewhere as I can't have this happen again with how far away from town we live.

Pharmacy staff is completely incompetent an unirganized. They gave me the wrong prescription for my daughter after explaining which one I needed and then proceeded to give me a hard time returning it 5 minutes later after I noticed their blatant mistake. Taking my business elsewhere as I'm afraid of this happening again

I went there for my covid shot the pharmacist was very caring and gentle and answered any questions or concerns I had to call him again due to having side affects he told me what medications to get and told me it's ok and some people have it happened and reassured me that I was fine I also bought sunglasses

Open on Christmas? Is this really necessary? How could you people make someone work on Christmas?! This is disappointing. Everyone knows you don't shop on Christmas day. Too bad for the people who waited until Christmas to shop. I'm sorry but I can't forgive this.

The only problem I have with walgreens is when you call their pharmacy and you are put on hold then all of a sudden they stop and you think someone is about to answer just to get a recording telling you that they are helping other callers and they do this every few seconds it's so annoying just let the music play if you don't answer right off we know you are talking to someone else we don't need to be told that every few seconds

The pharmacy techs and pharmacists are helpful and knowledgeable but the pharmacy is understaffed and disorganized. Long wait times, long lines, and the store itself seems dirty.

There is at least 5 people at the pharmacy and they took people that cut in line and keep on going in the back doing other things and me and my grandfather were waiting an hour with no line for his medication and they saw us and still wouldn't come to see what we needed my grandfather is not going back there he's finding a different place to get his medication

hate this place, they closed rite aid so now walgreens is very busy. Always a very long wait at pharmacy but no clear waiting line. What a mess. Do yourself a favor and use anyplace other than this location.

When I called to ask a question the employee told me to "just Google it man" like I should feel bad for bothering to call and work through their INFURIATING automated phone system. I did Google it, they said to call a pharmacy about it and that's why I called in the first place. Screw this place.
