1st time at this location. Wasn't a bad experience, kind of standard for this size chain. The employees were helpful, once you engaged them. The store had the part I was looking for, and even grabbed a couple of Dog Toys. Hey you can't go wrong with a nice dog selection. Will Return.

Decent selection of typical feed and accessories for all kinds of livestock including chickens, goats, horses etc old dogs and cats. Lots of rustic decor items and some gardening essentials. Nice selection of books and magazines. Men's, women's and children's clothing and footwear, some from top notch brands like Carhartt and Muck Boots. Staff can be hit or miss when it comes to answering questions, but the manager is awesome. The store is always clean. Generally the chicks and ducklings appear to be healthy during spring chick days, although the selection often isn't that varied. Good one stop shopping for everything farm related.

This store could be great, but with a train wreck manager and a serious disregard for safety, it’s a ticking time bomb.There is a chronic mouse/rat problem here. Many products are coated with a sticky layer of mouse urine. Gross.The back wall is collapsing and it appears they’re just continuing to stack product on the shelves instead of doing the required repairs.You can find tons of friendly staff…but only if you shop on Monday and Thursday mornings. Apparently the store manager needs lessons on scheduling, as there are never more than 2-4 employees on the weekends, when this location is busiest. You are guaranteed a long line at registers on the weekends.The parking lot is the biggest joke of all. Almost all of the lightbulbs are blown outside, so bring a flashlight and a “safety” whistle. The lines on the parking lot are long gone, making it hazardous to try and navigate and park in the lot. I would think this would be addressed, particularly the handicap parking spaces.This store is dirty and poorly run. Spend the 15 extra minutes driving to the Holden location, where you will find a clean and safe store staffed properly with friendly employees.

if you need pet, farm or gardening supplies this is the place to go beside Paris farmers union. They have a great selection and pricing is fantastic. We like the broad selection of items that aren't usually available at other stores.

My husband and I just bought some baby chicks from TS. Staff was very helpful and best of all, we did not have to track someone down to help us. We purchase many pet items from TS and are always pleased.

Customer service at tractor supply has been very good. The only reason this isn't a five star is because of my experience at the Holden location. They should use management at the bangor store to work with Holden. Rented a trailer for free and becoming my go to. I've already spent 4K here.

Yesterday my husband and I were in the Bangor Maine store and we were discussing chickens. We have never had chickens and had questions. The girl panicking shelves actually turned to us and answered our questions! She was so kind and friendly. We appreciated your help Britney! Thank you for your knowledgeable service!

Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. I had my young granddaughter and grandson with me. They were drawn to the chick's. An employee asked them if they wanted to see them up close and proceeded to go into the enclosure and pick up a chick so the kids could get a better view. What a nice thing to do. That won me over as a loyal customer.

Staff are not helpful and had me walking around the store for 20 minutes. Issue could’ve been resolved in 5. Was transferred around and all the employees just sat around doing nothing. No one wanted to show me where the items were. I normally don’t post. This was absolutely awful and I will be telling everyone about this experience.

These people are over the top. Unlike the Manager, she has an issue working with customer needs!I wanted to purchase two of the largest gun safes you have in the store, and asked to have her hold them for a week from the purchase date. I had to arrange a moving Company to move them due to their weight and the answer was an absolute No!End of conversation.

3x in last two months I went to store to buy things that were "AVAILABLE" in store for pick up. Once I purchased online and twice I went to buy and pay at store. All 3x the product was NOT AVAILABLE. One female employee is nice and helpful. Many others including managers are uninterested, unknowledable and they look bored. They just say, hey we don't have it and simply walk away. On Christmas eve at 1pm store was loaded with customers. I stood on line with things to pay for but there was just ONE cashier and a very long slow moving line. I returned products to shelves and walked away. Drove to Petsmart and got everything I needed, from happy, respectful and helpful employees who welcomed me and my business. I'm done with this store.

One of the worst stores I've ever been to. Zero customer service. Nobody goes out of their way to help you and the lady working the front could care less what you need. Every answer yo every question is "I Dont Know". Sat around and waited for 13 minutes for a manager that never showed up. "Kim". A lady named aimee ended up attempting to help me but all she did was bring me to a rack of empty shelves to tell me the same thing I had figured out 25 minutes prior. Even though the kiosk shows they have inventory. Worst place to shop. I would never recommend this store. Ever.

Bought 1 ton of Hardwood Pellets, got them home while I unloaded them I found 5 bags hard/frozen, I called them up told them the problem and they said bring them back and they would replace them. They are nice polite people who work there. Thanks keep up the good work!!!

Sent my employee to purchase a water tank that said was available online. There were none in stock. We were told that their other stores had multiple tanks of the requested size available but the closest one was over 30 minutes one way. They refused to send for a store transfer at all. Said they couldn’t do it at any time even though it is common practice to transfer items from store to store. Terrible customer service. Rude and completely unhelpful.

After this I may take my 1000+$ a week business else where. Its 5:21pm and I was just refused a propane refil because the "gentle man" is to cold to come out and do his job. Lucky for me Uhaul doesn't want my family to freeze with no heat and came out to fill my 100# and all 4 of my 20# minutes before closing.So they will have my propane business from here on out.

Ordered online for curbside pickup. They received my package but never marked it received in the system so I never got an email telling me I could pick up my item. Tracked my package, saw it was at the store so I called. The man was extremely rude and had me on hold for 10 minutes trying to figure it out. Finally told me what happened and that I could come pick it up. Send my husband the next day. They cant find it. He is there for an hour for what should have been a 2 minute pickup. Finally they give him one off the shelf? Customer service is horrible.

I’m done with the store. 2nd time in a few weeks I was told there were chicks for sale only to drive the 20 plus minutes in and have them sold. This time right in front of me. When I informed the sales person I just called he said sorry, they've been all sold to the people he was talking to. I needed 4...FOUR. They bought the last 30+ chicks. I buy wood pellets, dog food, supplies and more from this place and am in constantly throughout the year. I’m done. My last trip is when I bring back the chicken supplies I just purchased from you a few weeks ago. I’ll take the refund and buy them elsewhere. Thankfully I kept the receipt.

Shopping at the Tractor Supply Co. at 1161 Broadway, Bangor ME is an extremely frustrating experience. Whenever I have went there to pick an item that is on sale, I face the same situation. There is only one cashier available that is clearly unable to perform her job. She makes errors then attempts to get assistance from her manager. He is wandering around the store avoiding having to do anything. When the line becomes ridiculously long then he finally comes up to help. By then all the customers are annoyed. This location is poorly run. It is a very unpleasant shopping experience at this store. Even though the sales are good it still does not make it worthwhile to shop there due to this. Unless there is a change in management, I will no longer shop at this store.

I had and always have a great experience at this location...there is a wonderful girl that works there named Krissy I think anyone training to work here should be taught by her... in fact anyone could take a lesson from her... she is always helpful and happy...they really need to use her as the model of all the people they hire

Bought a utility trailer here. If you buy one make sure you carefully inspect everything. I didn't look underneath. The salesman was good about mounting the correct size ball to the hitch. I had him check the lights while I worked them. He said everything worked. The trailer sat in my yard for a few days while I got it registered. I hooked it up and just decided to try the lights. While my wife worked them, I watched. One side was dead. I took the trailer back and upon further inspection found the wiring on one side was cut in numerous places and hanging in a ball underneath. The salesman gave me a break on the price but it will cost me as much to get it wired properly. Otherwise I like the trailer. Obviously, the lights on one side never worked even though he said they did. Do it yourself! I've learned!

I had two 100 lb propane tanks filled here, the gentleman who helped me was great. Filled them right on my truck so we didn't have to man handle them. Good price too.

This is the place I like to get my pellets. They're usually a hardwood in a TS branded bag and my stove burns these very well. They also keep my chainsaw running right and the chain sharp. Fast and friendly service. Pet supplies, horse tack, lawn and garden supplies. They've got it covered.

I called to see when They closed so I could get propane. I was told "We close at 7:00 on Sunday. After I got My tanks full and went in to pay a worker there tells Me They don't do propane for the last hour They're open. I don't know how long Hes worked there but I've been doing what I do for 5 plus years and it was never a problem or brought up that They didn't do propane for the last hour. Ok. Just like They don't check the date stamped on the tank. Oh wait, one kid does. The same one that says I can't get propane anymore in the last hour. Huh. Other places I go, sells propane 24/7. I should give them my business? They're closer to My home too so.... Peace!!
