The team at Home Depot lack knowledge, the manager has no conflict resolution skills, and snide comments by employees having no understanding of home improvements and the value of products and if there is damaged items saying “the price is the price” on a laminated counter top when it has a crack and blemish. 10 percent off a damaged counter top does not counter the decrease a home buyer would expect if pointed out. The crack I could have worked with since I have a talented worker but he would have to be extremely careful not to split the whole countertop and we would have to fill the crack and blend it for it not to be noticed unless by a discerning eye but not at 10 percent. That was not worth that amount of work or time. There were no other counter tops available at that length and then there was no 45 degree cut matching pair. I had no issue purchasing at full cost without damage as I wanted to buy the pair to it at full cost. There was also no attempt by the audience of employees hanging around at pos to step up and say hey let me check to see if a nearby location has the product you need or let’s see how long it would be until you could get delivery directly to your house. I went to Lowe’s right after and was discussing the problem and the employee laugh saying here we would have gave you 50 percent off the product as it would just sit on the shelf without selling. There I bought counter tops undamaged cheaper and then I got 20 percent off on top of it for signing up for a Lowe’s card regardless if you can open an account. I told the Home Depot staff that damaged counter top will sit on the shelf without selling and that is profit loss. I hope they label it as damage and not to try to sell damaged goods at full costs to a potential buyer. All the workers I can earnestly say do not have their own homes or been involved in home improvements otherwise they would have understood my frustration.

Not only did the store have a certain hexagon tile labeled with the wrong but also the sq footage per case was incorrect. Label read 3.84/sq and the case is SUPPOSE to cover 8.88sf so case total would be $34.00. However the case only includes 6 tiles (each cover .38sq ft) which overs 2.2 sq ft. therefore the case price should be more like $8.50 according to the listed sq ft price. I needed to order 30 boxes (building new house). The price they were quoting me was over $1000 because a case is $34 IF it covered the advertised 8.8 but it doesn't so I asked for him to adjust the price accordingly. Anyway, the price was off, the sq ft was off. Got a manager to try and order my 30 boxes at the price on the sticker, would only give small discount, and while I was talking to him another employee snuck over and was changing the sticker. I thankfully got a picture of the price before it was changed. That same employee harassed me and another family member all the way out the door saying BYYYEEEE and telling us the previous stickered price wasn't wrong. If it wasn't wrong then it wouldn't have needed to be changed. VERY very very rude and trashy woman. Not professional to be raising her voice and talking to us the way she was because she knew the store was in the wrong but didn't want to admit it. Or maybe she couldn't wrap her head around HOW they were wrong. You'd have some calculating to do to get it. All in front of a manager who did nothing. Not that I'm a drop in the bucket for a large corp like Home Depot but I'm building a house and will no longer continue to shop there. Lowe's and my local lumber yard.

They've got it all, the glazed look on my wife's face after an hour wandering around with me is an added attraction. Payback for all those trips to JC Penney. Tool rental options can be a life saver, although not cheap.

This Home Depot is fairly a new one located on Stillwater ave in Bangor Maine. The store was fairly clean, but there were areas of concern, block aisles, trash on floors and I notice only one safety concern of a exterior door leaning in aisle. I guess old habits or new employees didnt notice this safety issue, which in another Home Depot had a door fall onto a child which resulted in injuries to his face. They did improve the lighting so you dont need flash lights anymore, lol. The ventilation still sucks cause they turn the ventilation system off at closing then back on around 12 or 1 PM. I did walk by 6 employees who fail to ask me if I needed help. Other then that not bad store, but there prices seem to be going up.

Pretty much just like any other home Depot. Inept. In this particular store I was looking for a water level. But, when I asked where I could locate one I was met with mass confusion by the employee and they asked me if it was used to level water. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ I mean.... Seriously!! Wow

Would never come here the people are rude they don’t ask if you need help and when you try to return stuff they give you a hard time and question you about everything and they just start and watch you would never recommend coming here!!! If I could give it no stars I would!!! I would rather drive an hour away than come to this home depot

Good tile selection, terrible service.When we made our order we were told they would contact us when the order was ready to be delivered. When I called, the automated thing said we were still waiting on the order to be finished and that they would contact us. We waited over a month and when I finally spoke with a person I was told the order was complete, but was missing information that they needed from us for delivery. It was clear no one had any idea there was a problem, and that no one was going to bother to contact us about needing more info to deliver our $2000 order. Ridiculous. They wasted a month and a half of the time we wanted to be working on our project and didn't even offer a discount. I should've returned the order.

Horrible service, they put a my new tub on one cart and the walls on another. While bring them to my car the tub walls went flying, Which caused damage. A few bystanders came to help. I rolled it back in and had to wait almost 30mins for a new one. Want kind of customer service is that!
