My family and I were all ready for new bikes after moving to the area. The employees were super helpful and patient and helped us find exactly the right bikes and the right sizes. They spent lots of time with us talking bikes and local trails and routes. It felt like the boost we needed to get back on our bikes after our move. The tallest member of our family wasn’t able to test ride any bikes that fit, but other arrangements were discussed and crossing our fingers he will get the right bike too.

These guys rock. I was in a pinch with an issue that rendered my new bike inoperable (which I REALLY wanted to ride over the holiday weekend) and they had it fixed and ready to roll in a matter of minutes. Plus they gave me a bunch of extremely helpful how-to’s and info. They always do a great job with my service work, and have a great assortment of products in house! Top notch bike shop.

Take this advice to heart. best thing to do is find out which bike the owners and the employees ride. Usually those bikes are the best bikes in the store. Listen to their advice store has great pricing very fair. I saved $2600.

Slipping Gears is a great local bike shop. The shop is well stocked with bikes and accessories. Most importantly, the shop has a professional and friendly staff. A staff happy to take the time to answer questions and provide well informed recommendations. I never felt any pressure to purchase anything during any of my visits. When I special ordered a bike the assembly and check out was done within a day of receiving the shipment. The shop should definitely be your first stop for anything cycling related.

Fantastic shop and staff. Jason's (the owner) enthusiasm is infectious, and it's always a pleasure to chat with him. We've now outfitted our entire family with new bikes from slipping gears and send all our friends there as well. It's just always an excellent experience whenever we go in, even if we just need a little help and aren't actually making a purchase. We also love the group rides they lead all summer, and the care and maintenance classes they teach in the winter. Slipping Gears is everything you hoped your local bike shop would be and more!

I brought my older bike in to be serviced and it was done and riding like new again by the end of the same day, all for a reasonable price. The shop has a great selection of bikes and gear, very friendly and knowledgeable staff willing to answer any questions, and the shop itself is well organized and clean.

I like that you listen to me and present me with choices that I can afford and fit my needs. I like that you are so active in the community, organizing events, maintaining trails, providing opportunities to ride. I like that everyone at the store KNOWS what he's doing. Not only knowledgeable but quick friendly service. They went over bike trainers which I need to learn more about. Invited my daughter and I to cycle as they meet right there. They quickly fixed my bike, not at all what I thought the issue was. It was a frozen link, I thought I needed a new chain. No issues with my ride now. Thought I needed a bike seat to find out shorts will be a better choice. Bought a bike pump. Great selection of merchandise including biked.

It was easy to figure out what was where, and how they categorized inventory.
