Hannaford is usually a very good grocery store with an impressive selection of fresh produce and good prices. The Hogan Rd Hannaford, however, comes on top of that favorable trend, because of how especially helpful and friendly their personnel is. The workers are invested and extraordinarily helpful making the great shopping experience a dream come true. Thank you for everything you guys do every day. What a difference you make!

They had fresh selections of what I was purchasing in-stock, the customer associates were pleasant and helpful-without being overbearing, and the lines at the checkout were short and moving along at a steady clip ;-) there were plenty available as well.They are definitely more comfortable at the checkout versus Shaws on Main Street...and they take returnables and their bathroom stalls can actually latch unlike Shaw's as well.

Understaffed at times, which is frustrating since they are the only supermarket chain in town besides Walmart, but other than that, it is a clean store that sells high-quality meat and produce.

Nice store. No real other comments to add other than it's a little hard to find. If your GPS tells you to turn down a road that doesn't look like it's anything you're on the right road. Haha. You'll see Goodwill on your left if you're coming from Stillwater Avenue.

FALSE ADVERTISING. We chose to pass 3 other Hannafords and drive 20 minutes to get to this location based on the photos posted here. I can assure you 100% after visiting, that neither the storefront photo provided by the company, nor the fish market photos are form this location. It is MUCH dumpier than it appears in this listing, and the ones we passed were much nicer looking on the outside. Lesson learned. The fish market looked like any average grocery store counter.They had a VERY poor selection of fresh pre-made meals, only 5 total on the shelf in 3 varieties.Then when checking out, I was offered paper bags which I declined since we brought our own, and then said I could handle bagging myself. The bagger ended up using my bags to bag my food which I thought was nice of them.Then I saw the bag......He had placed all of our food (including the fresh pre-made meals) sideways like books to make everything fit on the bottom layer, and then just started throwing random things on top. Needless to say, all of my fresh food slid to one side (thankfully it didnt leak), and had I not fixed it, my ice cream would have spilled all throughout the inside of my bag.I had to ask him to stop, remind him that I had already stated I would do this myself, and then had to remove EVERYTHING he packed so I could repack myself safely.We will NOT be going back to this location, and based on the experience, will probably never go back to a Hannaford store again.

Always easy to find everything, well labeled aisles, and the lines move smoothly.The bakery has some very delicious treats as well! This time I decided to get some mini eclairs to share with family and they are delicious as always!

What can I say? It's a grocery store! I can usually find most things here and if I cannot I go to Shaws. Some clerks are helpful others feel they can't be bothered, so I give them the benefit of the doubt and figure they are short-staffed.

Great small grocery store. The meats are really nice and a great price. Have shopped at different Hannaford locations to purchase steaks, pork chops, hamburger meat and chicken for cookouts and have not been disappointed with quality, prices or cleanliness

Very clean well laid out. Has many organic and natural products to choose from. The staff are all very helpful quick to answer questions and guide you to items you need to find. Very pleasant at checkout and asked if I needed help to the car. This is a very nice Hannaford and was renovated a few years ago. Not as big of a selection as either the Brewer or Broadway stores but has most everything a person would want.

Store is a cluttered disaster. You can't get carts thru the isles because of all the product displays and employee carts blocking everything. Why is there a cardboard display of canned string beans in the beer section blocking cart traffic? Staff are always rude or ignore you. Cashiers don't even say hello. Employees don't offer to move out of the way when you're clearly trying to grab something off the shelf. When there's a long line at checkout, an employee will open another lane, then take someone from the BACK of the line (instead of someone at the front who's been waiting longest).

I left my cell phone in the bathroom and 30 minutes later when I realized it, they had it safe and sound in lost and found...nice bathrooms too. A star off though as some of their product is leaking and sticky. That stuff ought to be taken away, no?

The Hannaford on Broadway in Bangor, Maine is a very clean Hannaford to go to. They have an outstanding Deli and Bakery and there associates are ALWAYS willing to step up and help you and not tell you to take from the little cooler cause they just put it up. #1 If I want it a different thickness sorry it won't be in your cooler. Also my boyfriend is Old School and you get paid to wait on customers as he told me to make sure I have them slice it at tge Deli. Hampden, Maine Deli have given me a hard time on 2 different occasions. One was a young man and once a young female. The female was very very rude and she NEVER GOT IT FOR ME 😠 So I only go there if I really need to now and that's for Soda or water because I would rather spend more in gas then deal with IDIOT'S.
