WARNING- assistance from the employees simply will not happen at this location so if that is what you’re looking for, save your time and go somewhere else.If you are desperate and need an item last minute, like me, you will be left to fend for yourself if you need any help finding the right size.I went to the customer service desk and asked if they had a jacket in a different size. The prepubescent boy told me with confidence they did not have the size I was looking for. So I was like no problem and I went to my car to order the jacket to be shipped to my home instead. I noticed under the item it said, 1 left in stock at this location. Out of curiosity, I attempted to order it on their website for in store pickup and sure enough, the order was completed and I got the jacket I was asking for within 20 minutes.This means the employee straight up lied to me to avoid walking to the back of the store so he could go back to talking to his girlfriend behind the counter. 😂

The shoe department people are so knowledgeable that they can tell you without even going out back that they don't have the size of many of the brands that are out on the floor. Hell they know they don't have that size even though the website says they do. I guess what is our on the floor are the ONLY sizes available. Another interpretation of this scenario is that the guy and girl who were working there when I visited were in fact took busy talking to one another and too damn lazy to be bothered to do their job and check ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK, to see what sizes were available. The cashier at the front had an excellent personality though

I have spent over 1000.00 in the last 2 months and the customer service person said I only had 10.00 of the discount. Never will go to Dick’s in Bangor again. Dick’s supports a point system and does not follow what they advertise. By the way Brandon in the shoe department was great. I hope Bangor gets there act together on the point system.

We had a nice experience! Found most of what we were looking for including reasonably priced clay pigeons, fishing tackle and a gravity feeder. I previously found a ping pong table at a reasonable price at this location and the staff are typically knowledgeable and kind.

It's out of season, and I was looking for swim trunks for an upcoming trip. I wasn't having much luck and asked an associate named Kayli for help. She said a shipment had just arrived, and without hesitation offered to go to the stockroom and bring back several for me to look at. After only a couple minutes, she came back with several awesome prints for me to choose from. I was only looking for one, but I found 2 that were perfect and bought them both!I haven't seen this level of outstanding customer service in a long time! Thank you, Kayli!! You're amazing!!

I found the perfect gift for a sports loving teenager here. I also got myself a cute Columbia fishing shirt on sale for $20! 😀 there is a huge selection of everything sports related here, including clothes & accessories and a small selection of toys.

The store is set up nice but the employees are horrible. I went to 3 registers to try and check out yet they were all "to busy" or on their phones. I got fed up and decided to go somewhere else. Sad to say I wasn't the only one to do that in that line.

The only real problem that I have with Dick’s is that I never have enough time or money when I go in there…..though that’s more of a me problem, I suppose. They have a good selection, though other locations do tend to have a little better selection, and the staff has always been great. Would definitely recommend this store to anyone.

The customer service was good at the register. With all the clothing that they sell you would expect a fitting room to be open, but that is not the case. We live an hour away, so to not be able to try clothes on before purchasing is a HUGE inconvenience. The bathrooms stunk terribly, and the paper towel dispenser was not working.

Huge! Everyone was busy at a register so couldn't find anyone to help. Felt like I was searching for a needle in a haystack. Signed up for emails to try and get a coupon and it's online only. Normally I wouldn't mind but I needed the item today or I would have just shopped online and im sure found the item for cheaper. Ugh!

If I could give a negative rating I would. Was at the Bangot Mall location and it was horrible. There was no help to be found anywhere. The only person arounf was a young cashier who was trying her best to keep up. Finally another lady showed up to cash people and she was no help at all. You're better off ordering on line with another vendor.

Great place for camping, exercising, hiking, hunting supplies/equipment/clothing, etc. However, I wish they had more exercise equipment, such as a Stairmaster. They did have a great variety of treadmills though. Plus customer service needs to improve a bit, such as checking everyone who enters and looks for awhile if they need assistance.

This is definitely the place to go if you are looking for some sort of sporting or exercise supply of any type, but it is a bit pricey compared to some of the other places I've been. However, like I said, the selection is quite amazing and they have pretty much everything you could ask for when it comes to sporting equipment or activities involving exercise, Etc.

Gigantic store with tons of clothing, tackle, weapons, exercise equipment and weather rated gear. Definitely a must for the outdoorsman or woman.

They have basically everything you could ever need here. We shop for our kids sports attire here no matter what sport they are in. My husband buys all his outdoor stuff here from clothes, hunting, fishing, coolers, boots and lots of other outdoor stuff too
