Very nice store, always clean and a great selection! I especially like the food choice. We go through a lot of their chicken and fries in our house. The staff is always very friendly too!My only complaint is that I don't really like being solicited about AT&T every time we go in and just trying to dodge that somewhat central area of the store... Thankfully the salespeople don't push too hard, but it's always awkward and does keep me away from that part of the store.

Never go shopping there but clerks come up and ask if you need help or are you all set. Always has new items and looking forward to the new patio collection this year. A great place to shop! Check them out

I've enjoyed BJ's in Seekonk, MA and Bangor for years but when a 48 pack of BJ's AA batteries failed (no power despite package saying "Best if used by 2030" seven years from now!) and then a 48 pack of AAA's did exactly the same thing, I wrote to BJ's expecting a refund. They ignored the letter. On my next trek to our Bangor BJ's, the manager told me they don't stand behind what their own package says. I am now a former customer. I suggest you get at least your AA and AAA batteries elsewhere.

My husband and I come here often. All the employees are very kind and helpful. They are the only place in the area that carry my aspire drinks..Also, can I just say how absolutely sweet the little old lady is that works at the check out!

Good and bad!Good:Store is clean , people are friendly and helpful For most part . Store is never super busy . Coupons are great , ok selection of stuff and prices are good on some things .The bad:Every person that walks out the door is treated like a thief and criminal . You MUST show receipt but most degrading part is they will go through your cart searching through your stuff and count the items that you have already bought payed for and own. Also when your at check out sometimes you feel like your being watched over by a flock of hawks and keeping a eye on you again as if your a thief . When you need actual help sometimes it can take a minute .So if this doesn’t sound like something your comfortable with do not get a membership here .Also gas station is only open during store hours it is not a 24/7 gas station where you can use debit /credit card and still get gas after Store hours like most gas Stations .

I’ve always had pretty good experiences at the BJ’s in Bangor. I bought a pack of toilet paper while I was in town, I live about a half an hour away and have two young kids, so making time to go to the store isn’t super easy and always possible. When I got home and started to unpack the toilet paper the pack was missing 4 rolls. When I called to tell them about this the only option they gave me was to come to the club and return the toilet paper for another package. As I previously mentioned, making time to get to the store isn’t always possible. I unfortunately lost out on product and paid full price for something I did not receive all of. I would’ve happily taken a coupon instead to get some sort of monetary replacement for the product I didn’t receive.

This was my first visit and didn't know where anything was. The women that helped me was so polite and stayed with me while i was going through my list. Very good place to buy large quantities of what you need. They also have different level of membership for even more savings.

Limited selections. No alcohol, except wine. If they talk you into a credit card and offer you a $20 coupon for signing up. Then you use the coupon, but end up having to return the product, they won't reimburse or give you a new coupon.

Prices are great, the people are friendly and the stock is high quality. The only drawback is the items are in large volume packages. If you aren't going to use 500 of them, maybe ought to shop somewhere where the package is smaller even though the price may be higher.

They help you save so much on getting bulk in foods, appliances, clothing, animal products, electronics, and much much more. They have such wonderful employees who greet every time you see one of them. They help you find your way around and offer coupons and samples.

Good prices, good selection. Easy to get in and out, parking is plentiful. Unlike other "Wholesale" warehouses in the area. Shopping at BJ's is a pleasure. No crowded parking lots, short tempered customers or long checkout lines.

I love BJ's in Bangor, Maine. The store is impeccably kept and well organized. They always have plenty of stock and they lower their already low prices on things that are on final sales. They have a great selection too. The gas station alone is worthy of your patronage. If you have their credit card, you save a minimum of 10 cents per gallon (their base price is the same as Sam's club) They are currently running a special in conjunction with Proctor & Gamble products that allows you to save up to a total of 35 cents off their gas. I paid $1.79 per gallon the other day! The attendants are very helpful and friendly. More importantly, they are attentive to safety, something I consider to be paramount. They are polite but firm in their enforcement of safety. Regards their credit . . I got a shock the other day when I had a call from the fraud dept of Comenity Bank. I had upgraded my credit card to their premium card and apparently someone had the information on my card . . they were in London, England. The fraud department caught the charges, all of them, and denied them. I was a little irritated that the initial part of the call was automated and anticipated a long wait to talk to a person. I was so wrong. Within 10 minutes, mostly spent listening and re-listening to details of the call which was my option, I was talking to a person! Amazing! The lady on the phone set me at ease almost immediately . . we worked out the details over the next half hour or so, she was very helpful and made no attempt to rush our interaction. She resolved all my issues, answered all my questions and started the process of re-issue for my card. I was extremely impressed! I would recommend Comenity to anyone looking for a credit account. I applaud BJ's in their use of their services. I can and do recommend BJ's for your shopping needs.

Bj is great. Prices pretty cheap, staffs are friendly and this place are not busy most of the time. Their T bone steak is super cheap. They have a hard time competing with sam's in town buy options are great. Dont forget to support locals when ever you can.

I shopped in BJs today for the first time. I was really impressed at the variety of organic food offerings since that is what I primarily buy. Getting an additional 5 cents off/gallon of gas was pretty nice too.

I like shopping at BJ's, but I went a couple of days ago and had a bit of a shock. There were no cashiers when I wanted to check out at 10:30 in the morning. I did not want to check myself out and was able, after a wait, to get a representative to check me out, even though she was also trying to keep the self check-outs running. I was told by another worker that "corporate" doesn't want a cashier on duty until 11 am. So if you go earlier than 11 am, at least on a weekday, plan on checking yourself out. Boom! There goes another American job down the tubes. Seems somewhat anti-American to me.

I just got gas here and your attendant was rude. He did not say hello or anything. I went to get my change and he shoved it out the little draw and never said a word. It looked like his magazine was more important. His name was Colby I think. The lady beside me said the same thing.

I was here last week for the first time and very impressed with how clean everything was and it has a most spacious floor plan. There also seemed to be a lot of knowledgeable personal ready to aid with directions for finding things.

Two months back I returned nearly thirty dollars worth of rotten produce. The manager on duty didn't really apologize he just kind of blew me off. When I told him I was unimpressed as I shopped there frequently and that I have seen and reported bad product to floor staff this shouldn't be such a continued issue. He just walked away. Tonight I made nachos using a double bag of cheddar I purchased Tuesday, I placed a handful on said nachos and found the whole middle of the bag rotten with mold. I am even less impressed now. Hopefully they will be more receptive and apologetic tomorrow or I'm getting my membership fee back and going to Sam's club. I pay to shop at BJ's if I wanted rotten food I'd shop at Walmart.

Been a member for about 2 years now. Always find good deals and save quite a bit of money by shopping here. Went in today and noticed the cafe was gone which was a little disheartening as I was planning on stopping there to get lunch as I was shopping.

I love this store people are very nice my flip-flops flew out and I didn't dare to put on the shoes and I was going to buy cuz I was afraid to put them on in fear someonethink I stole them but one of the girls came up to me and said no hun if you want to wear those now there's no problem just hang on to the tag and scan it when you get to the register and she was so nice about it. I've tried to do that and other stores and been accused of stealing and had my head bitten off. Plus they're the most comfortable pair of shoes I've got in a long time.
