Great service! I take my dog Georgia to Bangor Pet Resort & Spa to get her nails did. I've tried for months to cut her nails at home, but it never worked and wasn't safe. I'm not sure what magic they have behind the counter, but they are the best! 10/10

Our dog Max was in major need of a nail trim and wasn’t able to get in to his vet until late September. I walked in to Bangor Pet Resort and Spa and was walked out with 8 minutes. I almost passed out when they told me it was only $5!! Before leaving I scheduled a bath for Max and was very happy when we left. Their customer service was amazing as well. 😊

I am so lucky to have found Bangor Pet Resort and Spa. I have two very shy dogs with a bit of social anxiety. Sara and all the staff there are absolutely fabulous and move at my dogs pace. We started bringing them there ahead of a week long boarding so they could get used to going and plan on continuing to do so. They have large kennels where my dogs can be boarded together making it much less stressful on them. Rates are so reasonable and the facility is so clean. I highly recommend this facility!

We love BPRS!! We brought our puppy Oswald in for boarding and I was so nervous. They were great about updating us. He loved it so much that we have started utilizing their daycare. You can tell how excited he is to be dropped of. We are so thankful we found them.

I love love love Bangor Pet Resort & Spa, and my dogs Mocha and Whiskey do too. I have brought them a few times for doggy daycare when my partner and I have had busy days, so we're irregular customers, but our dogs absolutely love being there and we feel confident that they'll be safe and happy during their stay. We just recently boarded them for the first time too and had another great experience. Everyone who works there is so nice and very accommodating! They post videos on their Facebook page that are great to watch to see how happy the dogs are during their stay. I love that the pups get playtime with other dogs while they're there and that they come home ready to cuddle and sleep after an exciting day. We'll continue to use this great service as long as we're in Maine!

Went today to check this doggie day spa and was shocked at what I saw. When entering the office it smelled bad of dog urine and dirty. Office was not inviting at all. Wood was all scratched up and no I organization as we could see. When we went to see the holding areas it was much worse. Kennels lined up with just a path thru, rooms had nothing in them except maybe a bed, it was dark in some, no windows, no calming music, and the woodwork was all chewed off really bad. Did not see any other employees around to attend to the sweet dogs. We left feeling very sad for the dogs and truly believe they need to do a lot of remodeling and cleaning to bring it up to standards. Wish I had thought to take some photos but the young man was with us all the time. We checked another one out on Ohio St and it was such a totally different experience. Please check before leaving your baby. Also no one dog in a room seemed happy. We have 5 so we certainly can tell.

New to the area..and was very nervous finding a new groomer. At the check-in they were very specific with their questions. It was easier for me to leave my dog there as they knew his needs. In fact, I usually forget something and they had already covered everything needed. I have a 10 year old Australian Labradoodle...he is anxious and timid. He came home so calm and happy. Slept a bit and I'm very happy with his cut. Will be recommending to everyone. Thanks 👍🏽

My dogs and I absolutely love this place! I first started talking my middle aged great dane there when we moved back from Florida. I was skeptical that we would be able to find a place here that we loved as much as we loved the kennel we used in Florida but we did with Bangor Pet Resort and Spa. When my dog passed the staff sent a hand written note of condolences. When we got a new puppy they welcomed him with open arms. They have treated both my dogs as their own and both of them have loved/do love going there. In fact, when we are driving there and we get close my new puppy, who is only 6 months old, gets excited and can't wait to get there and my last dog was the same.

Poor people really tried their best to cut my cats nails I felt so bad he just wasn't having it. The only reason they have three stars and not five is because before my cat decided he'd rather die than have his nails trimmed we gave him to them to get him groomed, our little cat got so scared they couldn't get him out of the cage. But upon the changing of shifts it never got relayed to call us and our cat stayed their all day while we waited for the call they assured us would come when they were ready then charged us for the service that was never given until we called and straightened everything out..

Our dog just loves to come here for day care or boarding. He appears happy whenever he sees the place and we like that. Love the fact that we can see him when videos are posted on Facebook. The staff is very nice and know our dog by name. Definitely recommended!

My dogs always have a great time and we feel that they are in good hands while they're there. We do both kennel and daycare. They are the only ones that can cut my puggles nails. The staff are all friendly and very accomodating, especially the owner.

We have been loyal customers for about 10 years! They truly care about every dog brought into the facility. They also have a Facebook where they post daily videos of the playing dogs!

The staff was very friendly but thats the only good thing I have to say about the place. I paid the $35 for my lab to get a shampoo, nail trim, and ear cleaning. He did smell good but 4 of his nails weren't even touched and the other nails looked butchered. His ears were also not touched at all. I cleaned them myself when I got home. I'm not sure why half of the things advertised and paid for weren't done, but I will not be going back. Note to others: check to make sure you're getting what you paid for before you leave the business. Lesson learned.
