We purchased all new kitchen appliances in December 2023 with installation and set up to be delivered on January 2023, paid $500 to have the driveway plowed and extra sanded for the delivery truck. They didn’t even try to get up the driveway. Fast forward a month later, same thing with preparing the driveway, they wouldn’t drive up. SO we met the delivery crew at the end of the driveway and transferred all kitchen appliances to our own pick up truck. The delivery people came to the house and put the appliances in their designated spots, where the old ones were. They didn’t hook them up and they took 3/4 of the old ones away. The old fridge they left on the front porch. I called 3 times today and after having to repeat the story every time, they would put me on hold for a manager and then it would hang up and send me to their surgery. The refrigerator is damaged, the stove vent wasn’t set up because they delivery team didn’t know how to do it and because there was no vent hole cut out. No one told us we needed to do this ahead of time. We paid for delivery and set up! Now they’re refunding only the amount paid for set up and we have a stove that doesn’t work which means the house can’t be rented out until it’s resolved. Very poor customer service.

This store has dim lighting and feels a little cramped. The layout isn't the best and I feel the flow could be improved and better thought out. Has a wide variety of useful items and a helpful staff.

Mike in the window and door department is very knowledgeable and willing to go out of his way to help. This location is also a good size and stocks a lot of products.

Returned a corned beef that was 1/3 fat..I brought the fat back to the store...got a full refund with only one question: "what is this in the ziplock bag?"

Got a Storm Door lever to replace the knob that I got this summer to replace the push button handle that would freeze every winter. This knob would freeze too, so had to use the back door to get inside.Hopefully I will be able to apply enough torque to open the door and get inside where it is WARM! Maybe I will have a short pipe handy to apply more torque!

Tracey received all information on our refund through whirlpool tells us to come Saturday and she’ll put all paperwork up front. After being here the whole day employees suggest come back Monday when Tracey is here. Drove over an hour here hoping to get a new dishwasher and they have no answers. Disappointing to see 1 person in the whole place knows what’s going on? Do better.

The toxic masculinity really needs to be dealt with. Do NOT look at a customer's left hand and tell her she "should have your husband do it". If you are asked where to find something just show them. If you don't even understand the project being made you obviously can't tell someone how to do it better. Please stop assuming that women have no understanding about home repairs. I was raised by a carpenter. I have done plumbing, flooring, electrical, tile work, wallpaper, painting, and plenty of light carpentry/ woodworking. Female does not equal stupid. Please have your employees catch up with the times.

We drove by to see if they had some flowers out yet..yes they did. Already pansies and some other annuals and perennials. Good assortment for early in the season. They have a great assortment of potting and garden soil available. Lots of landscape and hardscape products too. They also have some trees and shrubs available.It is great to see the bright colors of the flowers. This was my first trip there for flowers, I know I will be back for more. 😊

Waited in the tool corral for over 20 minutes, and they paged employees three times to come unlock the Power Tools, with no success. They really need to get their act together. You can’t sell anything if you don’t have the proper staff to help your customers.

What can you say, it's home Depot. They have most of your needs for home improvement, and repair. The staff is usually very friendly, and helpful.

Home Depot is a great chain. I know they have had a major impact on small traditional hardware stores but the selection and pricing serves the needs of millions of homeowners and contractors. I do a lot of DIY at my 2 properties plus the 3 of my kids, so I am often in H.D. or Lowe's. H.D. gets the nod as the better of the two, mostly because they tend to have more knowledgeable staff on hand to answer questions or to give advice.

We went to the store today and they had an electronic locks set on sale from $209 to $53 so we picked it up when we went to the register it rang up as one sent. So in good conscience we told the woman that it was the wrong price and that it should be $53 at that time another employee overheard, took the locks out and said they were not allowed to sell it. Then proceeded to walk away with the lock set.. I’m very disappointed that Home Depot wouldn’t honor the price marked on the shelf.

Basic Home Depot store. There used to be pick up trucks that you could rent on an hourly basis. I had never rented one but I was hoping to that day to pick up a gift for my granddaughter that was too big for my car. The man at the service desk said they don’t do it anymore because someone tried to steal the truck, apparently they kept it for a couple months.It figures, someone always ruins things for everyone else.

I am so disappointed in the Augusta ME Home Depot.. first they tell us the $160 five gallon paint we had to order because they didn't have a deep Enough base on hand to mix the dark gray color we needed.. after failing to call us when they said they would, we made another trip in to hear they misplaced our order and it was sold to another customer.. after over an hour of waiting we weretold they would reorder our paint and give us a 50% discount.. then upon getting our paint they not only failed to give us a discount. We paid cash and should be able to get cash back but nope, they said in 2 weeks they will mail a check. Just opened the paint and it's not even the right color.. they need to get their act together. And to top it all off they kept my receipts.

I had the most horrifying experience in the paint department today while shopping with my daughter. The unstable male associate was being very rude and inappropriate, initially flirting and then peppering us with lots of inappropriate financial questions, making very rude comments! I cannot believe the Home Depot is still employing this individual, very sad that associates feel they can belittle, pry and be so disrespectful and rude towards anyone, especially customers. My financial situation is none of anyone’s business except for me, I’m sorry if he isn’t paid enough, based on his behavior and comments, he’s lucky he’s not in jail . . Nasty nasty individual

Once again homedepot rips me off on my order to be delivered, cost of delivery was$79.00. Very high to only receive part of my order. The reason i choose to have order delivered was due to 4- rail road ties needing to be delivered. They can weight 100-300 each. After waiting 2-3 extra days for them to deliver and only getting part of my other items, i found out they never had any rail road ties to sell. Now they say computer is broke and it will be 2-3 days before i might get a refund. No answers to simple problems, management was supose to call me but never did. Heads up i just talked to Lowes, they have 50-100 in stock ready for delivery. I have no trust in homedepot what so ever. Thank you lowes for saving my job and it needs.

Absolutely the LAST time I go to this store. I needed help finding an item, asked the customer service desk to call for someone and it took him 3 minutes to free up his busy schedule from just standing there to call over the intercom for someone to come over. I then waited another 5 or 6 minutes and when on one came, I decided to heck with it and left. But it just got worse at check out. Not one checkout lane was open. I do not work at home depot, I should not be expected to find it without needed assist, and pay for it in the self check out.

The young man in the lumber department was super helpful when I was in their earlier this week. Had a similar experience with a different gentleman a few weeks ago, too.The staff has been consistently helpful at the Augusta, ME location. Good job 👍 and Thank You

Terrible customer service within the appliance department. I ordered a gas range oven as it was not in the store. (We bought all new appliances for our home, not to mention a couple thousand dollars in flooring as well.) The range got delivered with a damaged handle, 4 months ago. The issue is STILL not resolved. I call and email Kurt who does not call or respond to emails for at least a whole week and then I get a run around that he's pushing the issue, which clearly is very ineffective. I've called corporate with little to no help. I will absolutely NEVER do business here again. I've spent so much money, have a damaged oven 4 months later and still no help. Very displeased!

I use home depot quite a bit. Recently they jave been rather unorganized. I understand spring time store changes however this is more of just leaving huge pallets of items everywhere... not just put there for restock or anything... full huge pallets all over the place in the way for weeks.. like i said i go in quite a bit... it just seems they lack severely logistically. Wouldnt really care if it wasnt constantly a problem trying to get to items. Other than that the employees are usually very polite and helpful. Yes i have run into issues as anyone would however they are always taken care of rather well. The one caviot being when haveing items delivered... make sure the truck stays until you check your items. If they leave you will have to wait about a week or so to have them pick it back up and once they drop it back and have it re-inventoried then they can process your return and order the correct item and you can have it delivered in about another week.
