Normally I enjoy shopping at Target but today was very disappointing. Not one checkout line was open and only had about 3 self checkouts available. The line was so extremely long that I ended up giving up and abandoning my cart. They really could use more help.

Love Target. Best store in Augusta. They just need to have at least 2 or more cashier's. Currently they have 1 cashier and self checkout.

Me and my son enjoy our target trips very much. We always look foward to going. I always find something when I go. My son absolutely loves the toy section. They do have a very big selection of toys. Their home decor and candles always get my attention when I go. They are a little over priced with their bedding and sheets/blankets. But everything else is fairly priced.

don't make your self checkout 10 items or less, particularly when there's no customers in self check out. terrible decision and i wont be back.

We love our Target store in Augusta and the personnel are always helpful and friendly...my only thought was I was surprised that many shelves were empty and tons of boxes to be put away blocked the aisles...It was not a problem, per say, but I was surprised that on a Friday so much was still waiting to be put on shelves. We were there a week ago or so on Monday and the shelves were quite empty so I decided Monday's were not the right day to shop.....but we do love our Target...

The curb side pick up is at their discretion and may be “closed” when you arrive and you will have to go inside to get your items. Make sure to always inspect all your items before you leave as well if you is the pick up service. I received and item with two tamper seals clearly ripped open, and part of the contents in the clear container was missing 🤦🏻‍♀️Update: I was advised when the weather is “dangerous”, curb side is closed to protect employees ((but they can still collect carts))

Not sure if I like their new department store concept. Feels a bit chaotic versus their classic organized style. Reasonable prices on their cheese and butter. Was amazed to see 90% off of their Christmas items..

This is always the messiest target. Shelves either are over flowing or bare. Bathrooms are always out of paper/soap and dirty. Service is not friendly.

Target Pharmacy in Augusta has the best staff that we have ever encountered!! Leah is the sweetest, most competent pharmacist we have encountered all across this country! She listens! And Nicole is also consistently helpful and polite. Thank you for everything!

Clean, but I went here many of the employees weren't wearing masks at all let alone wearing them properly. At least 50% of the customers weren't wearing masks and weren't told to wear one. I'm from Vermont where our covid numbers are very low, in town for some training and wanted to use my target red card. Doesn't make me feel safe to shop here.Edit, I came back early in the day instead of 7:30 - and they seem to have really ramped up making sure people wore masks. Increased from one to three stars for the effort. Will revisit again in a week to see how they do late nights.

A total waste of time shopping on line for store pickup.I received the email that my order was ready for pickup but when i arrived the order couldn't be found and there was no explanation..The young man helping me was very nice but couldn't explain what happened just that he could refund my card for the items purchased. 🤷‍♀️I really didn't need to drive 30 miles for this today!

Well laid out floor plans, easy to read signs which help tremendously finding what you need from the baby section all the way down to grocery and frozen section. Even during Black Friday shopping the store was clean, all staff super friendly and helpful with finding things. Great deals as well!

I can't get over the prices here. Almost everything is 10% more than at Wal-Mart or Hannafords. Whatever it is, people seem to want to pay more to shop here. The selection is no better either.

I bought a kids bike online, and it said I could pick it up at the store in two hours. I live an hour away, so I figured after an hour I would start off. I didn't hear from the store, so when I got there I checked my email. It said had been canceled because it wasn't in the store and therefore not available for pick up. I had already started driving before the email came in. What??! Fortunately there was a similar bike there that I bought for the same price, but why don't they update their online inventory!? And the store and the mall in which it sits are grungy and gross. Live and learn, I won't be going to Target anytime soon.

It just keeps going downhill, a mess in every aisle, nothing ever on the shelves. Carts full of stuff at every corner. Never can find what you are looking for. Store is lacking management for sure.

When placing an online order. The total amount is taken from account. To be sure you have enough money. Then once they ship each individual item they charge the account for the price that they have shipped out. First it was 76. Then that disappeared and was charged 15.80 for the first shipped item. Second item shipped was then charged 31.and change. Different days luckily I still had money in account. I canceled the 3rd item as I didn't want to be charged another time. I only wanted the first item that was shipped but there is a 35 minimum. Wish I had canceled Second item before that shipped. Separate charges is NOT ok. I will not order from target again. Sticking to Walmart, Bed Bath and Beyond, Macys , and many more. They don't charge for each item they as they ship

All departments should be answering phone while store is open.The long haired person with glasses in electronics is extremely hostile and shouldn’t be allowed near customers.

First, I had a hard tiime adding to.my order. online. Then when I drove up to the pick up spot, I could not get the app to accept my two orders. Then, I watched the delivery girl literally dump over my whole cart, pick it up, drop items again, pick them up and then one more time before she got to the car. She put my orders in the car but never checked with me as to whether that was even my order. I know people are new and kids have first jobs but it could have been a bit better. Maybe a bit more training for the new kids.

Accidentally left some groceries I had paid for at self checkout. I live 40 minutes away, and when my partner called to explain he was greeted with an attitude from the associate, and we were told there was nothing on their list of put back items, meaning a lazy associate saw that we left items and just put them back without saying anything. Thanks for ripping me off after I made an honest mistake…

I didn't have to go into the store. Received a courteous smile asking if she could be of help after she had finished helping someone else with their order. I gave the attendant my order and ID. She said, she would be right back with my order. How good is that? Thanks for all you do TARGET!

Update for 7/2021:Today I went shopping at this store and had a far worse experience all because of one employee. I have lowered my stars because of this experience. I was walking around with my brother while pushing a shopping cart, and I noticed that one security officer was somewhat following us. He peeked around the aisles to see if we were there, it was somewhat creepy. At one point we were just walking down one of the main aisles and I noticed that he was about 15 feet behind us. I stopped and waited for him to pass. He approached us and said that someone complained about us. I asked him what we did wrong and he said that we needed to “calm down”. We weren’t doing anything wrong or causing a problem. Later, I was in one of the toy aisles with my little cousins. He said that they were causing a issue by looking at and touching the toys. He left our aisle and went to the people in the aisle next to us to tell them that they were causing a problem. What a ridiculous experience. I have visited this store many times, as well as other stores, and have never had this issue.Original Review:Great Target store. Average service, but what you would expect to see. They really should have more employees in the electronics section because if you need assistance it can be difficult to find help. The summer outdoor section is not as impressive as other stores.

5 stars for customer service and the store manager (supervisor?), Joe. Had a very complicated issue I needed resolved and Joe was very kind, patient and understanding. It took a awhile to work through everything but he was able to resolve the issue and I left feeling very pleased with the result. Before going in I was very frustrated but left a happy customer. Definitely will be back to shop again!

Shout out to Vince in the electronics department. Went above and beyond helping me find a phone case. Tip to purchasing manager: stock less phone cases for phones you don't sell and expand your selection of the other phone types. Not everyone wants an iphone.

Absolutely terrible customer service! I was shopping with family on 3/30/22 and happened to see a Razor Pocket Mod 24V miniature Euro style Electric scooter/Moped in Purple color with a big sign on it stating 259.00. I thought about it and ended up leaving without it. My daughter's birthday party was the following Saturday and I was searching for a great gift for her. On Friday 04/01/22 (night before the party), I went back to the Target in Augusta, Maine and there it was with the sign still on it. I asked for assistance getting the box out of the pile of ride on toys, an associate (who did not notice anything wrong with the sign that clearly marked the item at 259.00) wheeled it down to the front where the cashier rang it up for almost 500.00. I said no there is a sign on it back there that states 259.00! The cashier said "oh that's for the pink one that's smaller." I said no it says right on the sign "Purple". So the associate that wheeled it down goes walking back to check. As I followed behind, as I got there she had ripped off the sign and folded it up, only showing me the corner that had "12/29 " on it in much smaller print. She said "oh this is someone's mistake, they just never removed the sign. This was a Christmas special." It is APRIL! Unexcusable! They offered me nothing. She said "no one will price match that" but told me the lady at front would have the final say as she was walking off. When I got to the front she was already wheeling off the item to put it back and the cashier lady said "I cannot price adjust anything over 20.00". That is false advertisement! No consumer would notice the small 12/29 in the corner nor would anyone think those signs were from Christmas being in April. No letting me talk to a manager, nothing. Just nope too bad there's the door. Target definitely does not value their customers. I'd give them a zero if possible! The same exact item is advertised at Walmart for 298.00 - just needs to be ordered. Guess she will get it later than her party from WALMART!

We love Target. We get treated pretty poorly by most cashiers in other stores, but Target's staff is friendly and personable. They have a great selection of vegan/vegetarian options in the freezer section, which we love. There are never long lines at the registers, even when it's mobbed. The only thing that drives me a little crazy is the shoe aisle by the end of the day - it's usually an absolute disaster, and I'm a little bit surprised it doesn't get more attention throughout the day. But I still give them 5 stars!
