We stopped for some creamer. They do have good sales on a lot of items. They have seasonal items available. There is Osco pharmacy inside the store. A nice selection of fresh flowers. They also have a nice bakery, with decorated cakes for all occasions.

Friday afternoon shopping most often means that the fresh items on special are mostly gone. What I think is a good idea is the marked down meats are collected in 1 place so easier to find affordable protein for those on a budget.

I really want to like this store. When their stuff is on sale, they have good prices.. If not, just seems expensive.. The store is clean, men's bathroom, not so much.

Great deals on food and they have my daughter's favorite cotton candy grapes. They have outher flavors as well. They also sell hot wheels. That is a huge bonus to shop there. In my opinion anyway lol

Love Shaw's❤️ I'm so sick of Hanafords and the other second rate grocery stores up here. The bakery selection has Barry quality food, 100 times better than other grocery stores in Maine. Employees are very thoughtful and nice! Store is very clean😊Well, I am still going to Shaw's and still loving it! ❤️It's gotten a little sketcher in the parking lot, just more homeless people around.

I have been a customer at this location for over 20 years now...However, recently it's getting to be a struggle shopping here and very frustrating because i drive about 20 miles and pass 2 other grocery stores to shop here...when the items im looking for are not stocked,its really annoying! I don't want to waste my time anymore...

I've never had a problem at Shaws, employees or products. Everyone, no matter what location, is so nice to me. Maybe it's just me, but they are nice. Most of the stores are clean and organized.

If we could go negative into stars I'd be at the end of it. Customer service here is horrendous. Especially the front end manager. Absolutely useless. Employees are rude and prices higher than any others except when something is on sale. Best luck is to go in early or nothing will be stocked. Very few people at this store have good service. Ina and Tyler have exceptional service here and it's why I will still go back. Otherwise this place is not well stocked and employees plus managers are rude.

On Sunday, Aug 20, I purchased 2 bags (4 lbs) of PEI Mussles. When preparing the mussels just prior to cooking (de-bearding, washing, sorting out open shell (dead) or broken shelled mussles, the first bag had the typical small handful of failures but the second bag was a different matter. Fully half the bag was dead and 5 times the usual number of broken shells. When I checked the bag tags all became clear. While the first bag had been packed and thus kept dry for 10 days, the second bag had been packed and kept dry for 15 days. "Fresh" seafood/shellfish kept dry on the shelf (even if on ice) is not fresh! In seafood where freshness is everything this was hardly fresh. If you are shopping seafood at shaws for products that are not frozen check the tags before leaving the counter! Of note is that their "fresh" seafood products carry no "sell by" labeling to assist store staff and customers in inventory management and verification.

Store was clean and fully stocked. Found everything I was looking for. Had to ask about location of a couple items. The associate that assisted me was very helpful. The lines at the register were fairly long but they moved along quickly. Will definately be back next time im in the area.

You never have any idea if your actually going to get the coupon or not. Then you can't decipher the receipt when your done. I had $7 off my purchase "reward", but when I checked out the fine print didn't allow some items so ended up leaving my stuff and leaving the store for the final time. I've had things like happen repeatedly there. I'm not just a shopper that can't figure out the app either. I grocery shop at several stores, and use all the apps and rewards programs. I use Ibotta, and receipt hog. I know my prices. If you buy anything that isn't in the flyer or doesn't have a coupon you give back all of your savings. Your better off in Maine to just go to Hannaford. No gimmicks. You know what your paying. You save in the long run.

Shaws always has a variety of things and often different products than the other grocery stores. Love the options. Staff is friendly.The building inside could use a lift, it is time.

I absolutely love this branch of Shaws. The cashiers and customer service are always top notch, everything is clean and tidy, as well as easy to find. The only reason I am docking a star is due to the prices. On most items they are roughly $0.50 to $1.00 above the local competition. Although worth paying the extra little bit for the experience of shopping there.

It was alright, although they does carry everything I am looking for and also they have a new worker that help with the self check out register's, which I always use because I like bagging my things the way I want. (I put certain things in the bag together, based on the meal it goes with, plus I like double bagging because I am a walker) anyway, every time this new person comes to help me, she gives me an attitude and makes me feel like she thinks I'm doing something that I shouldn't do. Other than that, everyone else has always been super helpful and nice. Did I mention that I am a regular!?

After work I went to go get my son a cake at the bakery which was open till 7:00. At 4:15 the lights were off. I got lots of excuses about staffing. Well the manager was trying to help me who couldn't we called Hannaford and they were able to accommodate so I drove over to Hannaford and they wrote Happy Birthday to my son on the cake. It was my first time to Shaw's in over a decade figured I'd give it a chance and it's crazy they sent me right back to Hannaford.

I have loved shopping here for years. Great prices and rewards as well as wonderful customer service. I have recommended and gotten many friends hooked on shopping here. Sadly, I am going to have to stop shopping here 😟 I am disabled and the last few weeks I have gone in 4 times and each time there are no electric carts available. Out of 3 carts, one now has a sign that it won't keep charged. Another dies unless you want to go in reverse. The only working one evertime I go in is being driven to dollartree by some man and brought back dead. I cannot walk around the store and I prefer to shop in person. I don't have this problem at either Hannaford. They have at least 4 working carts and there is always one available. So sad to lose my favorite place to shop.

Like the fact they have products not available in most grocery stores in the area. Their fish and meat departments seem bigger than other than other stores, probably due to the fact they have more room. Great bakery. Large well stocked produce Dept. Really Big store compared to others in a few town area. 4 stars due to doesn't feel as personal as.some other stores.

Bags are super thin, store is always messy when I'm there. Deli clerk refused to serve me and two other customers, a full 20 minutes before deli closing time. Sales are good but their rainchecks aren't worth the hassle.

I like that I can get in and out of this store pretty quickly. The have a good selection of the items I often need. The prices are about the same as everywhere else in town.

I was calling around trying to find the best lobster prices for a Valentine's Day dinner and after calling all local places in the area I found prices ranging from 899 a pound all the way up to 15 99 per pound. I decided to check Shaw's before going to the Lesser place and found out that they in fact have them for $4.99 per pound which was the best price by far. Even though the seafood department was extremely busy the gentleman that helped me was very friendly and still took the time to answer all of my questions. Upon getting to the register I had an issue with a coupon that I had and a very nice lady by the name of Lisa came over and assisted me and got me on my way. The prices at Shaw's have been very very competitive to say the very least in fact sometimes they are extremely low on some of their meat and that makes it very convenient and affordable to shop there with two growing boys. I will certainly continue to shop here as my first choice.

It's good in a pinch, if you don't want to go to the other area store that's overpopulated. The parking lot is disgusting. The pan handlers and people that bug you to sign petitions right outside the doors make you not want to go. Always great deals inside. And the staff is nice.

This is the market that people resign themselves to, when they either don't have the energy to walk, or cannot secure a ride, to someplace better.The fruit and vegetables absolutely MUST be thoroughly inspected for pock-marks, bruises, nicks and rotten spots.Even the berries in those clear packages must be inspected, because if you don't turn the package over to look at the berries on the bottom, you'll sure enough pay for rotten fruit.I posed a question on their website, and was advised that my question was a good one and that the Store Manager would follow up with me, but that was about six weeks ago ... and so I wait.Both the lack of communication and the lackadaisical behavior is emblematic of the opportunities for improving this place, which isn't as far gone, as much as it's in need of good management.

Expensive, not particularly clean, not lots of choice and the parking lot is like frogger... very busy. The lady who checked us out was friendly as were many of the stores patrons. I think this is what happens when there isn't a lot of competition.
