I love this store!!! 💗🖍👩‍🎨I used to frequent these store chains quite often when I was younger as my mother and I were into arts and crafts & we attended many craft fairs. I grew up in Massachusetts and a lot of these chains slowly disappeared.As you can imagine my genuine happiness and complete joy when I did see the big red letters upon getting off of the highway... I couldn't wait to get inside and start to explore the endless craft possibilities that awaited me inside.I had a great experience inside the store and the staff there were all quite friendly and very willing to help me find what it was I was looking for (although it wasn't anything in particular I was seeking out) I have many crafts today in which I do, including making rope doormats, and putting glitter on like EVERYTHING. Either way this Michael's is definitely worth checking out if you're into making beautiful works of art, or even if you just want an interesting store to browse through that will get your creative side in overdrive. Great place, all around. I will be going back very soon and I recommend it to any & everyone.

Every time I go in Michaels everyone is friendly and helpful! Even when they are busy they take the time to insure satisfaction.Today Moe was over the top helpful and quickly resolved a problem I had with an online order! She is consistently knowledgeable, efficient and kind. I would also like to give a shout out to two other employees, Darlene and Quinn… both very helpful, friendly and patiently answered all my Q’s! I love this store!!

While this store is probably the place to go in the area for craft supplies, it may not be the place to get your pictures/paintings framed. There is a serious lack of common sense in that department. The quality of the actual frames and framing is fine, but using a no-wire hanging system on small projects is just ridiculous. I recently had 2 small paintings framed here and both were set up with the no-wire system that are designed to handle 50 lbs. My 2 paintings together weigh less than 1 pound. A wire to hang my painting would have been so much easier and appropriate. And, only 1 kit with nails and stuffed necessary to utilize this system was provided. It costs a lot of money to have anything framed here. I would expect that some thought would be put into each project and that there would be 100% customer satisfaction before they accept any money.

One is the only remaining craft stores around. Prices are ok. Staff are great and very helpful.I was looking for something very specific. Had a picture of a label my wife sent me, and the staff member knew exactly what I was looking for.

Wide selection of arts and crafts products available at this location but a lot of things seemed to be scattered throughout the store which made it hard to find certain things. Was also disappointed that they did not carry any plaster or molding clay. I was looking to make a home made mold of an object I had so I could make candles in that shape. Had to turn to Home Depot in order to complete my crafty objective. All in all they do have a large selection of products and their employees were pleasant.

Every time I go in Michael's it seems they've rearranged it and no longer carry what I need to finish my project. Aisles are narrow and have choke points along the walls so social distance is not doable here. Some staff are very helpful but you have to find then first. Good place to browse for ideas but if you want something specific save the trouble and order online. I give it three because it's there and does fill a need.(update 12/1/23) Michaels is still here after Hobby Lobby opened just up the street. Store is full and well stocked but specific items seem to change slightly from batch to batch. This remains a decent spot for craft supplies with a little of everything and i continue to use it for basic supplies. Hobbyists will cultivate niche suppliers according to their interests but Michaels remains like a local hardware store for hobbies, a good source of parts and supplies to keep what you already got going. Keep this place on mind for basic stuff and buy all you need when you see it. This store is a great resource if you use it for what it is.

I like the selection, but my orders get closed out before I can get to them. I called the store about it, and they were confused because they insisted I came to pick it up (right before I called). I had been traveling for work, so that was impossible, and I also have an unfulfilled ID requirement on my pickup account.They reluctantly gave me a replacement to what I had ordered, because I asked how they were going to refund me. They once again asked if I was SURE I didn't pick it up (from another state, right before that call) as if I was just lying to get free stuff.I spend hundreds in that store. I don't need a $5 canvas for free.Then the same thing happened again. Since they had no answer for me last time, I did my own research.Apparently, if you don't pick up your order in 5 days, they close it out. But when they did that the first time, they didn't tell me that bit of information. And furthermore, don't say it's been picked up - you simply void the paid items that weren't picked up. Order gone, no money exchanged.How has this happened again? How don't they know what is happening? Why aren't they telling customers?I'm paying off my Michaels card, and just not shopping there again.

If you are into crafting, then this is the place to go. They have almost anything you could want, from yarn to semiprecious gemstones.Their varied assortment of supplies kept us in the store for longer than we had planned, as their was so much to see.Pricing was fairly standard for a chain store, we did find some good deals, and were happy with our purchases.We will definitely go back when we need to "Stock up" again.

We went in looking for a paint-by-number. Asked an associate who directed us to isle 5 which wasn't correct. Asked a second employee who told us they were on the other side of the store. After searching for a bit we finally found what we were looking for. Went to checkout and had to wait for awhile. Obviously, one of the cashiers had an issue which took a bit to resolve. The lady in front of us had a carriage FULL of marked down Christmas items. Fun,fun,fun.

I came in with a somewhat off the wall request at a time where most of the employees there were new. That didn't stop them from working through it with me and finding a solution that I was happy with. Keisha was great to work with and, even tho I gave her multiple opportunities to just say "yeah we can't help you", she kept pushing towards a solution and went out of her way to make sure I was happy. Thanks so much Keisha!!

Sometimes when I go to Michaels I may be looking for something particular. However often I see things that give me ideas on something I can create..Also most everything has a price on it. Some stores visited do not have prices marked and in most of those cases I do not bother purchasing.

We bought an artificial tree today from this store. It was the last box of this particular tree, but unfortunately when we got home we opened it up and realized it looked like it had been a returned item that was restocked. The tree was out of the plastic wrap which was crumpled in a corner of the box. When we put it together and plugged it in, the top and bottom strands didn’t light. This was pretty disappointing for the price of the tree. It feels like poor customer service that they’d restock a returned item and not mark it for awareness or discount it for not properly working.

My go to for craft supplies. The customer service here could be a bit more friendly. They're nice, but seem almost robotic sometimes. It also seems that there is a decent line each time I visit, I wish it were a quicker check out process. All in all though, I am grateful for the crew here and will continue to bring in my business.

Went in looking for some craft supplies for my kiddos to make a birthday present for their mother. We browsed for a bit to find exactly what we needed, and had some assistance finding one special item. I had a coupon, which gave us a great deal on top of it all. The only detraction from our visit is feeling like a criminal when you step into the pen/colored pencil aisle. It makes me feel like buying razor blades at the pharmacy... Clearly, this item is both small and overpriced or people wouldn't be stealing them in droves. Maybe just put that whole section of singles in a space behind the registers. We know you have the space there.. it's practically the Labyrinth to get to check out.

Wide selection of craft goods and the best place for special paint pens! Morgan in the framing section was especially helpful in turning my special signed pictures into masterpieces in my office! Will be back!
