I do all my shopping here. The gals up front are so kind. The lines are long but I understand that everywhere is short staffed these days. I wish they would work on the Starbucks in here. It’s dirty and is closed half the time. It would be nice to have a drink while waiting in these lines!

Honestly the staff are incompetent and rude. They don't post accurate times on opening and closing. The prices are outrageous. It is way off in the middle of nowhere people shouldn't go there go to Hannaford is better.

I love the cleanliness and neatness. Very organized which I love! Employees are nice. Some things are pretty expensive but I like on the app I have coupons and actually saved a really good amount past 2 trips and also got some items FREE using my shaws account. I did notice onu last trip 8/12/23 there was actually mold on ceiling above the freezer section where pizzas are..it's sagging and worry about me and the health of the workers. I know we've had to s of rain and hope they get that fixed ASAP.I absolutely love the Flower section! Beautiful! I love looking at all of them. Had so e things I can't find at other stores and I like variety. Keep up the good work!

You know why alot of folks want to use self checkout!! It is Quicker. But, First of all acknowledging someone is a big deal as a cashier, second I surely DO NOT APPRECIATE that I bagged all my groceries while the male cashier got on his phone. Did Not even give me a total amount voicefully. I then walk off to leave and sure enough the young man on another register was on his phone. I CAN NOT EVEN EXPLAIN HOW RUDE THIS IS!! NO PHONES SHOULD BE ON PERSON WHILE WORKING, ESPECIALLY in Customer Service. UNACCEPTABLE!!! What Has Happened to Work Ethics and Rules, Just Awful!!

Shaws is supposed to be open until 10p.m. They instead lock the doors at 9:30. I understand folks want to go home at their scheduled time. It doesn’t give you the right to lock the doors early so last minute customers who work their job until close can’t get their necessities and groceries. It tells me Shaws must have a young or undedicated manager on staff. I don’t recognize the way the new world operates. However if you’re going to lock your doors before closing..change your close time. Corporate should know you are not honoring your hours. Do better shaws! This is how you want your reputation to be known? I hope the next time I show up just at 9:30p.m. the doors are not locked before the 10p.m. close time. Disappointed in my local store. May start shopping at hannaford where they don’t lock me out before close time

More expensive then other grocery stores and you'll spend more time in line waiting to check out then you will shopping because there's barely any cashiers and no item limit on self checkout

Can you put a sign up on the door when I have to be my own cashier. I had to check out a cart full of groceries, I feel tricked. I don't work for Shaws.

Deli closes at 6 and some days earlier. Guy at Deli counter told a patron to go t 5 Guys they could hook her up with meat. So rude. I get it is hard to get employees. Pay better and start working on costumer service.

I love shopping and working there. As a shopper for almost 30 yrs. First in Lewiston for many years and then the Auburn store. Everyone is so helpful if they don't the answer to something they will fine someone that does. As a worker I see how we help the customer's. I'm proud to work shaws.

Huge store with great sales and friendly helpful staff!! Absolutely Love to shop there in person but frequently place drive up and go orders which I must say is a very convenient time saving way to shop when u are a full-time parent with a job and a full schedule

Hard to find an associate later in the night, hard for me to get there during the day just due to long work hours but I went by last night and went to pickup a few things and almost nothing was there sections of veg area were empty as well as section of freezer area being completely wiped out. It looks like a storm came through here. I understand that there's supply chain issues and what not but this is a corporate chain they have to have ways to bring more goods in quicker especially when you want to continue to raise your prices.

As far as grocery stores go, Shaws can be hit or miss. This particular store has amazing produce options, more than competitors (Hannaford). And a great bakery section. The store is small, with limited options. For regular grocery shopping this store would be top notch. If coming in with a specific list, the experience can be challenging. Intuitively, selection is not found where expected, and some items cannot be found at all (do they not carry white queso?). Had to go to Hannaford to finish our list due to the limited selection.

Grocery stores don't get much love but Shaw's is pretty good about keeping things convenient especially the deli with prepackaged meat and cheese. Staff is friendly too when you need help.

Order online for a $170 in groceries and they charge $177 twice plus the $170. Absolutely unacceptable to hold almost $400 extra than was needed and told that’s how they do business even tho we have never had a hold to that extent. Definitely will never use them for service again and I hope their management gets fired one for lack of customer service and lack of business training. A gas station doesn’t even hold that much extra. Completely absurd.

Things are getting back in stock. Associates are pleasant even though it has to be tough dealing with regulations but they've handled it well. I feel more comfortable here in comparison to a larger retailer because it is much more accessible on a daily basis. Thanks to all for what you do.

Today I bought 3 100% grass fed steaks, on sale. Brought it home, opened one of the packages..the steak was bad!! I looked at the date and it said to freeze by 9/21!! Its the 28th today!! Great sale!!! This is not the first time! 3 weeks ago I bought 3 small spaghetti squashes. Brought it home, cut one open and that was bad! ...musty smell and the seeds had sprouted!!! Wth!!! Both times I had a young man helping me with the return and he didnt seem to really care...tossing the receipt at me....Really!!!Never will I step foot into Shaws again!!!

This is a great grocery store. Always have great deals going, they always have traditional coupons, and they even hold events like the Disney mini pop head things.There store brand is actually very good, and the employees are top notch, they keep the store tip top all the time, it's a 'diamond in the ruff' so to speak!

Shaw's had all your groceries, and more. The staff are very friendly, responsible and the place is well organized and clean. You can create an account on their website and get rewards and excellent deals. Both Lewiston and Auburn's locations are awesome. I specifically loves to get my vegetable and fruit from their stores, because it has better quality than any other grocery stores. I highly recommend Shaw's!

The associates are ridiculous. I requested items I didn't receive but was still charged for them. I am never using their delivery service again. The lady from customer support tells me to watch my language with her. I never even swore at her. If you choose to offer an order and delivery service at least get it straight. Don't gas light customers and think you are in the right. I had her on speaker phone and not once did my roommate hear me swear at her. People are so stinking petty. I work in retail/customer service and I would most likely lose my job if I treated a customer in such a manner as they did me. I am 100% not satisfied with this service. I would never have ordered my husband Half Baked Ben and Jerry's because he doesn't like the taste. I ordered Cookie dough Ben and Jerrys. I will just find time to go shopping without using delivery service even if it means I am unable to get a full night's sleep with my 40 hour work week plus the 2 hour commute round trip each day I go to work. If they want me to get nasty and swear I will.

Their meats are a bit more pricey then other supermarkets in the area. Great place to shop if you have a big family, with the deals they have. A bit of a challenge for the single individual such as myself. They do have an awesome staff and seems to be a pleasant work environment.

They were awesome. The selection was great and prices were decent. I have a 3 & 2 yr old they opened a line right away to get my toddlers out, and the guy who helped me out to the car wasn't creepy. They even gave me cards for the kids to get some free fruit next time. That was a plus. I'm from Colorado and this was a great experience.

The new self checkout is not helpful or fast. There is no hand held scanner for heavy items. The side where the bagging is done is not sensitive and doesn't recognize light items. The store is well stocked and pretty clean. Sales are ok. Starbucks is now in the store if you like that. There is a pharmacy located in the store as well. They have a decent selection of cold beer as well as alcohol and wine.

Every time I go in to this store I feel unwelcomed. I'm from down south, I'm not use to greeting the employees first. I'm used to employees greeting the customers and smiling not at some of the customers but all the customers.I know this not just in this store it's in several stores I enter around maine .
