Best place in town for all of your hardware and landscaping needs. They have everything and the staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Anytime you walk in, someone is there to help you find anything or answer questions. The yard is huge and they a great selection of landscaping items. Won’t be going anywhere else!

Place is awesome . Sometimes service is a little delayed because everyone coming in the door is like Norm at Cheers, especially if your a regular. Both the managers are super. The main manager is wicked knowledgeable. Being a regular I have got to know him well. Don’t mistake his dry sense of humor as being flippant. If you get him, he can be a riot when he waits on you.

I walked in after 4pm with my service dog in his stroller. I was asked if I could be helped. A friendly young man took the key I needed tripled. He passed them back to me in about 2 to 3 minutes. I paid and was so happy I didn't have to wait in line any where. The keys work well and for my first time there, I noticed a huge selection of finely made USA products. I will go there for again.!!!

Our local Petros is a gem. Great people to work with, usually has the things the average homeowner is going to panic buy when things go sideways ...speaking from experience here...and they always seem to have a minute to talk about the weather. They are a welcome neighbor.

Daryl LaMore is either related to the owners, or they are completely unaware of his utterly appalling ignorance and unprovoked rudeness towards customers. I was alone and completely blindsided by his behavior when stopping in for a routine purchase of some plumbing parts for a sink. My neighbor said the exact same thing occurred with him. Same behavior in two separate instances with two people of different generations and genders. How many more people has he driven away that said nothing? I was told the absentee/retired owner of Petro's is a really nice man by multiple individuals, which only compounds this travesty. All other members of the store I have previously dealt with were both professional and helpful in all instances, one in particular was a very polite and professional man who I believe was the owner's nephew (he should be running this place and LaMore should be sacked immediately). Be very careful who you chose to put in positions of leadership as it can be a death knell for a business. I highly recommend Gray True Value on 97 Shaker Rd instead, they are very helpful and have an incredibly varied selection appealing to most anyone. I drive out of my way by 15 minutes, but do so happily as I will never return to Petros.

Great prices, helpful clerks, usually wait on you the minute you walk in, they deliver anything bulky or heavy that you desire. They can help you on any difficult project landscaping or fixing up the home.

The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to order anything you need if they don't have it in stock. Support your LOCALLY Owned and operated businesses! Here you are a LOT more likely to find American made products, like snow shovels that hold up and work well, unlike the cheap chinese JUNK the big box stores carry. Petro's has a LOT more than the typical hardware store, such as bulk loam, rocks, mulch, paver stones, etc. - one of the few places in the L/A area that carry these things for homeowners!
