Lindsey is fantastic! From day 1 she’s been super easy to deal with, is always upbeat and friendly when I walk in, and most importantly she takes great care of both of my dogs. Jamie is amazing, although she is Hope’s groomer everyone in the salon is always so nice and welcoming. Hope is always happy to see Jamie and goes right over to her. My pup always looks and feels great after her spa day. I had our doggie day care groom Hope to try and save some money, we came back to Petco after 2 grooms....My dog insisted on it!

Our groomer, Davin, was wonderful, as he always is. Our dog is not a calm or easy customer and she was nippy (we will have her wear a muzzle from here on out) but he is endlessly patient with her and expressed that he was happy to keep working with her, which we appreciate so much.

This was the first time my puppy had ever been groomed. Davin said he behaved very well, and his haircut was lovely. The big thing, however, was that Cousteau came home happy. He did not seem traumatized at all, which is always a fear when you have a puppy. I will make all my future appointments with Davin.

Lindsay went out of her way and was able to schedule a bath and face trim for both of my puppies when I was told that there were no openings for another week!! She did a fabulous job and my puppies look and smell great!!!

Be aware that this facility uses chemicals that are not hypoallergenic despite staff promising this for "sensitive " pets. Their argument against using all natural shampoo that was brought to a grooming appointment was that "its a liability " No consideration for the consumer that has a dog and children with allergies. Very unsatisfied as we all have headaches from this artificial perfume scent.

I took my dog in for a nail trim (not her first at Petco); when asked about medications, I mentioned she was on her prescribed sedative and anti-anxiety for these type of appointments (as recommended and prescribed by a licensed Veterinarian). They refused to take her in because she was on a sedative, per PetCo policy. I'm disappointed that PetCo has usurped a Maine licensed Veterinarian's recommendations and denied my fur-baby her nail-trim appointment. I don't recall being asked about medications last appointment, or if I was, Petco didn't have a problem with it at that time. Poor pup is medicated for nothing as it is a Saturday morning and most private groomers are closed or booked up (I've called - and yes, they will take dogs who are on prescribed sedatives). Not happy with Petco's policies at all.

Called last Monday and booked an appointment for today at 1pm. Gave all the info for my dogs vaccinations. Get there today and "no appointment scheduled". Woman was extremely rude. Asked about scheduling a different appointment and was told "well I dont know what to tell you".... we walked out and called a local buisness to us. Appointment for tomorrow morning. What a waste of gas and a 45 min drive. This place can go pound sand.

I like that they can take me when I call and I feel very comfortable bringing her there for she doesn't seem to be affected or bothered anytime I pick her up, which is a big comforting feeling. They seem to spend good time with her.

These people will kill your baby pet raccoon! Instead of doing the right thing and getting it to a wildlife sanctuary they euthanized it.
