Very delicious homemade ice cream! Just went on a Sunday around 3 and the line was not bad. Lots of flavors including sugar free, sorbet, and vegan options! Fair prices as well. Very glad they are open for the season.

The night I went here was warm, humid and very busy even though it was the middle of the week. They were very understaffed with only 2 young girls working. However they did a great job at getting through the line quickly, which was out the door most of the time! They were professional, laughed with customers and were just really gracious.The ice cream was delicious, their selection was amazing and I was shocked at how inexpensive the prices were!The property is gorgeous, with flowers all around, a table to sit and eat and ample parking.I highly recommend anyone check out this place, I know I don't stop here often enough and definitely need to change that!

Everytime we stop by here, it's always really busy, so bring your patience. Of course, a line should mean you're ready to order when your turn comes and it does move fast. A great place for shakes too. Friendly and quick staff combined with fantastic ice cream, what's not to love!

Going out for ice cream has always been a special treat for celebration, or just fun, as kids. This can't happen as memorably without a place like Shaker Pond. Their friendly, sharp staff and delicious ice cream remind me of homemade AND of being a kid! Thanks, Shaker Pond!

I just tried the strawberry shortcake. It’s definitely got strawberry , I’m just not tasting the cheesecake. Could you put chunks of cheesecake in the ice cream? Please know I’m not being negative just giving my personal feedback. The ice cream is yummy.

A little bummed they didn't have Toasted Coconut today but the girl working made a great recommendation for Chocolate Coconut and it was SO good! Kids loved their Moose Trap and Cookies and Cream flavors!!

Very disappointing 😞! We supported this business for many years, however it appears (taste & texture) they altered their ice cream formula for the worse by removing the cream. The result is an icy product and we will no longer be buying ice cream at Shaker Pond. So regretful to loose a local employer and hometown favorite. Regrets, Ted Kokernak

Shaker Pond Ice-cream is one of my favorites. The ice cream is always fresh, smooth and creamy. There is a huge list of flavors available to choose from and the creativity is always a delicious. The wait isn't long and there is indoor and outdoor seating available. The staff is always family friendly and makes the experience more enjoyable every time. I highly recommend bringing your friends and family to enjoy ice-cream at Shaker Pond Ice-cream.

I have been going to Shaker Pond Ice Cream for 13 years. I'm not sure what has happened. Last week they were out of the flavor I ordered. It was not listed on the board as being out. I was told after my order and paying for it. Tonight they were out of hot fudge for a sundae. I changed my ice cream flavor to accommodate caramel topping. The small size sundae I always get was put into a smaller plastic dish. There was hardly any whipped cream on the sundae. I could not hold the plastic dish due to the way it was made with a smaller diameter on the bottom of it. The caramel topping got hard really quick and when trying to eat the sundae it kept spilling all over the outside of the small plastic cup. I will not be back this year. Sad.

Best ice cream in Maine. The play dough ice cream is so amazing, especially if, like me, you get it in a brownie sundae along with cookie dough ice cream. Absolutely recommend it to the moon and back infinite times. My family commonly comes here on our way out of town on a summer afternoon. I love you guys at Shaker Pond! Thanks so much!!!

Delicious ice cream and wonderfully helpful associates. It was fairly busy, today, but that's to be expected when its 91° outside! The associates were quick on their feet and got orders out as fast as they could. One of mine was forgotten, but was quickly rectified by the staff. I love Shaker Pond Ice Cream!

When moved to Maine I didn't think I would be able to find ice cream as good as I had back home.. Shaker Pond ice cream is absolutely amazing.. Better then my favorite shop I grew up with that once mad a top ten list in Esquire magazine.. My favorite flavor is coffee cookie

Though my favorite is "Chocolate Explosion" - which, btw, I find SO hard to locate, my back-up is Cookies N' Cream. Which actually IS like my favorite, only with vanilla ice cream.This evening, however, while eating the latter, I tried a test. Have you ever tasted something with your eyes closed to see if you can guess the flavor? It's a known fact that scent +/or color influences our taste.Well, in doing so, I realized that I could NOT recognize the vanilla flavor!! It was actually tasteless! Come to think of it, the plain Peanut Butter lacked flavor as well.On the positive side, I will say that the price is very reasonable. And it is very filling - that is - not injected with air!

Disappointed there was no public bathrooms, not even a porta potty…. When we asked for bathrooms shaker pond told us to go across the street to another business and use thier porta potty… umm kinda rude! Also for homemade ice cream you would think it was natural.. sadly no, it’s full of dyes and other synthetic ingredients…. Girls at counter were nice but for the other reasons we won’t be back….
