Had half a steer cut last fall. Roughly 25% of the freezer bags weren't fully sealed or were punctured when picked up. Requested more stew than burger. We recieved 6lbs of stew beef and tons of burger. This wouldn't bother me and I wouldn't have wrote a review... But after all this I finally open the tenderloin steaks and find steaks cut from a untrimmed tenderloin. Sorry but if you're not capable of removing the silver skin from a tenderloin before cutting it into uneven steaks then you deserve the bad review. Rookie or a untrained cutter .

So I bought half cow of a reputable guy in Clinton and he choices get his slaughtered here, from beginning to end very helpful. My first time purchasing a half cow I didnt know how it would be processed at all. They informed me of what cuts, selections ect, I could get and size of portions,thickness/packagings. Being a single individual they packaged it to my specifics and guided me to get best possible cuts. I really enjoyed experience I'll be back! Thanks again and I'd recommend them, I was impressed in quality and quantity along with the excellent packaging! Keep up good work and thanks to those at Jason's butcher shop!Edited- I had hard time locating place its hiding behind an old-huge storage/chicken barn. Go down road along side barn and ull see store directly behind it. Building is huge and long. Jason's is not visible from road but Jason's does have a sign on opposite side of the main street
