Walked in their door at 5:20pm. They close at 5:30pm. My 13 year old tabby cat 🐈‍⬛ Kitty-Soft-Paws was urinating blood so I rushed her to the nearest open clinic. The staff didn’t act crabby for my walking in 10 minutes prior to close, I was in luck a Dr. Was still there. They took kitty back immediately to collect urine sample. They did this prior to even having any of my info! The staff here was amazing! What asked about cremation and if they offer those services for when it’s time for my laying Kitty down to rest. The ladies gladly helped me with pricing and options. This will always stay with me how I was treated at their clinic. Thank you Dr. And staff for showing me that we are still human and my baby meant enough to you to stay past the time you should’ve been on your way to your families. ❤️

The best vet I’ve had in a while. Not only were they super helpful with explaining my dogs surgery, they were also amazing when it came to helping us find the best price to get my baby feeling better. And even when he stayed overnight, they sent me an adorable picture of him. 10/10, highly highly recommend

The staff was friendly and pleasant, as well as professional. Dotties got spaded, and she is doing great. Before and after care instructions were plain and simple. I give the Animal Center a 5-star rating.

This was my first time at the animal center, and I have entrusted my puppy's health to their care. They welcomed us warmly. I'm a first-time puppy owner and the veterinarian explained each shot and vaccine thoroughly. They made me feel comfortable asking questions, and my puppy loves going there. They will be our go-to veterinarians.

Great and friendly staff. We're new to the area and were in need for a vet/boarding facility for our 3 dogs. The building is easy to find, clean, staff is super friendly, and the dogs seemed to have a great time. Plenty of lobby space for multiple customers with their pets. Ample amount of parking.

We love The Animal Clinic in Zachary because it’s just like family... Loving and caring! They have taken care of all of our pet needs for 4 years now and we are beyond satisfied. The staff are all animal lovers and it shows on their face whenever we’re in for a visit!

Leigh O’Brien provides excellent and quality care to our dogs without over charging for unnecessary services, highly recommend letting her care for your pets I give her service 5 stars! I left one star off due to the other vet Savannah Burch, she over charged my husband with tests that were not even necessary for the reason we brought our dog in and then tried to refuse to give us the medication for an eye infection that we brought him in for, seems like she is more concerned about racking up your bill than treating your pet.

My first visit to The Animal Center was a very tough visit as I was having to say goodbye to our German Shepherd. From the moment I walked in the staff’s compassion for our situation was so evident. From the lady at the front desk, to Evvan who assisted the vet, to Dr. Burch, the veterinarian, they made a very difficult thing a little easier by giving me the support I needed. I cannot say enough good things about them. The facility is very well kept as well. Thank you to the whole staff at The Zachary Animal Center!

Zachary Animal Center I cant say enough good things about my experience there with my Junior! The patience & kindness that they gave was above & beyond! All of the staff was super friendly and helpful with him! As hateful as he was, they all tried to make him feel comfortable! Dr. Jason and staff was amazing & very thorough with us!! He is a meany but we do love him so much! ❤️ He really is a gentle giant to his puppy and cat siblings

I have been going to the Animal Center since 2016 when I moved to the area. They are compassionate and knowledgeable. Our rescued cat Thor went from having ring worm with no hair to very healthy.

Dr Jason and all of The Animal Center staff went above and beyond to help me when I had an urgent situation that they don't normally handle with a newborn calf. They were ready and willing to help which meant so much to me. They will definitely have my repeat business!

I recently boarded 3 of my 4 dogs at The Animal Center while on a business trip. They had never stayed away from home and I worried about how stressed they would be. The staff dedicated so much quality time with them and helped them acclimate to their new environment. They were regularly seen by the doctor to evaluate their stress levels and my male was given sedatives since his stress levels were higher. I will definitely board them there again in the future and rate them 5 stars!

Expensive and they never diagnosed my pups problem. I took her to AVS and she was diagnosed right away and had her gall bladder removed. She's happy and healthy like a brand new dog for half the cost. The animal center is all about money in my opinion.

Our Saint Bernard Chauvin was neutered at the Animal Center. That is the only Veterinarian Clinic that I would considered. They take care of all our dog’s including our elder Saint.

I went in for my cats routine dental cleaning, and they messed up causing my youngest unnecessary stress. Sense they are cats, they put them asleep to safely clean their teeth (this is routine), but the tech forgot to remove the IV from my youngest while he was asleep, so they did it while he was awake, and instead of just dealing with a defensive cat, they gave him another shot to rest him. I had to be in the room while listening to my baby screaming without knowing what they were doing. The sedative didn't take effect due to adrenalin, so when I got home is when it effected him.I went from Benfield to them because of a mistake at Benfield of wanting a routine dental cleaning and they had them down for a wellness visit, plus Animal Center was closer. But Benfield's minor mistake would not have effected my cats like Animal Center did. I'm taking the cats back to Benfield.Plus I was wanting to hold off on vaccines until June, and the Animal Center called and tried to pressure me on getting vaccines before the desired June appointment. My babies are indoor cats. The chances of contracting something would be from a roach the cats played with til death.Benfield vets are a lot more logical as to how needed things are in timing.I'm currently stuck making payments for the abusive dental work. So if you are a cat parent don't go here.

Finding top care for our dogs is priority and I'm so glad this place is not only close, but incredibly helpful and gentle with our babies. No question is too small and any concerns are addressed with patience and understanding. We have a dog with some behavioral issues and is very protective of us, we let them know ahead of time and he was handled so well.Front end staff is also incredibly friendly/ helpful/ easy-going. Scheduling is pretty flexible - at our old vet, we'd have to wait months for appointments.

A lot of miscommunication between employees, then the employees with me. One says one thing, the other says another. Yada Yada I'm just glad they didn't charge me for giving my dog her annual vaccines after already receiving them at her vet shortly before boarding. I'll be boarding elsewhere. Many employees are nice, though. Kindness is important to me.
