Ray was awesome! Called him for a last minute large mirror install/hung in my daughter & son-in-laws new home in time for the Thanksgiving holiday. He came the next day and had it hung in a jiffy. Reasonable price and very friendly! Definitely will use him again in the future!

My wife and I live in Bossier City but we were here in Zachary grand baby sitting while our son and daughter in law were on a cruise . We are both 70 and I am wheelchair bound . The bathroom door was locked from inside and shut with no one in there . We tried to depress the emergency lock release but to no avail . I randomly looked in Google and found Handy Hubby and found he was 1/2 a mile from us . I called and he responded immediately . I explained my dilemma to Ray and he came within 2-3 hours after my call on a Saturday afternoon . He assessed the situation and immediately removed the door by the hinges and unlocked and rehung the door . All within 15 minutes and he only charged $40 . Truly outstanding service and Ray was friendly and considerate as well . If there were a 10 star review , Ray deserved it !! Please don’t hesitate to utilize his services . It’s hard to find quality professionals anymore but Ray is one of a dying breed . A job done right the first time and reasonably priced as well .

Ray is amazing! I called him to help me with a quick DIY project. I ordered mirror mates to go over my existing mirrors, and he reinstalled them in less than 30 minutes! They look amazing. I will definitely be using him again. While he was here, he also informed me of something I had no idea. I had a floor job booked with HomeDepot, and they failed to tell me that the flooring I was choosing was not safe for a kitchen. Ray put me on the right path!

I highly recommend Ray. I hired Ray to remove an existing exterior door and install a new one in it's place. And not just hang a door. Completely remove frame and install a new one. I'm happy I chose a small business owner to help with creating my vision of a rebuild. We hired Ray to tear down a wall and open the area by putting sheetrock on the walls which had been cedar planks and repairing the ceiling. He also added shelving in our washroom. He also ripped out a sink in our storage room and added cabinets to the space for more storage. My biggest complaint is he talked big and he did not deliver. The sheetrock walls that he installed were so off I had to hire a drywall company to repair the walls. After he had the job, he then informs us he does not do texturing. He also ruined our floor saying he thought we were replacing it. And he capped off the sink, and now our shower does not drain. He basically has limited skills and his quality of work is poor. Both rooms he worked on at least were not main rooms in my house. The company I hired to fix his mistakes did a great job. So it cost me to get it right. If you are looking for a basic repair he can do it; just do not hire him if you expect a professional job.Services: General construction, Drywall repair

I had a list of odds and ends repairs that needed to be done around my house. It can be hard to get someone out to fix small things. I found Ray at Handy Hubby through the positive reviews I saw on google. I have him a call and he was able to come out the next day, he was so nice and professional, and did a great job. The projects on to-do list weren’t too small or insignificant for him. He hung my house numbers, installed a mail slot in my front door, installed kick plates and door sweeps to other doors, and fixed the fit of old doors that were sticking (they work perfectly now!). I recently purchased an older home that had issues with almost every door (sticking, not closing completely, popping open unexpectedly, etc.). Ray quickly and professionally repaired each door. Now they work perfectly! I was so glad he was able to repair the doors rather than replace them both because that saved me money and let me keep the original character from the doors in the home. Ray completed numerous projects around our house. He worked fast and efficiently. He repaired, scraped, and painted eaves and installed a new porch post. He build a 9x12 deck with steps to the ground and hung a storm door. He also installed a new floor in the bathroom. We are very pleased with the work he has done to our home! Ray contacted me right after I sent in a request on his website. I explained what the work was and he and I worked out a time to come give me an estimate to do the work. He replaced an old rotted window sill inside and out on a window that had been painted shut for years. He was reasonable and easy to work with. The window sill looks great and problem is solved.
