I stopped at the Dollar General on Plank near the Crossroads for medicine and was overcharged, I told the clerk the price on the shelf was different, and she did not care! Be careful the shelf tags don’t match the actual prices!

Cashiers are nice. Not so messy and junked. Can walk down aisles without bumping into stuff thats just sat down and forgotten like a lot of them. One thing though, I think a lot of stealing is going on over there, just my opinion. Customers, not employees. But what do I know??

The store is a bit thrown around but the overall people there are great. Always fast and doing their jobs. I come here often. If this place could be cleaned up a bit better it would get 5 stars! (:

I would say it is pretty decent for a dollar store excluding the fact that you can rarely get down all the aisles because they're so packed BUT....they make up for it because the cashier's EVER have crappy attitudes! ! 🌞And for me a good attitude at a convenience store truly goes a long way! LOL

The associates were not helpful in any compacity. I was looking for a particular item that the associate told me was misplaced, but the sign had the items with their description. I took a picture of it and the associate told me the UPC didn't match. She never left from behind the counter to assist when no one was near. I had to go back and forth myself to check the item and its UPC. I don't visit this location because of the cluttered location and post poor service. I think this business needs a staff that feels like working and actually want to work while also cleaning up the store.

It's a shame when the store has 30-45min before closing and you would think they just stopped working.... Walk in and the employees are rude like you ruined their night by going shopping and all you need is a pack of cigarettes, but to your surprise they have shut down the cigarette case and are not selling cigarettes anymore that night!! I thought when Family Dollar was open everything was for sale until they closed for the day!! Guess I was wrong!! Hopefully this location can get a few employees that understand how retail businesses work!! Good luck with that Family Dollar!!!

The employees are always friendly and I never wait in line long. I've had to return an item once with my receipt, it was an ice chest I got for my Dad after the 2016 flood but he already had one brought over to him so he didn't need the one I bought. I went to the scenic hwy location and the b*@#h behind the counter said she wasn't taking it back bc it smelled like beer on the inside and something else she said too I can't remember, I was super pissed and told her bish I don't even drink beer fist off and on an on, I walked out that store and drove straight to the DG located on plank rd @ the crossroads and went to the counter to return it and it was done quickly, no problems, no saying it smells like beer, she did eht she was supposed to do!!! I hate the scenic hwy store, employees and manager, they suck! However the DG @ Plank Rd @ the crossroads is great!!!

I have gone in the zachary plank rd store today and for the second time this week I have tried to buy a cell phone and was told I couldn't because it wouldn't scan.why is this that there's items in the store for sale but you can't buy them because they won't scan.are you try and out money on your prepaid cards and they can't do it because they don't have a card to do it.this is three times in a am that I've tried to buy something and haven't been able to do it.I sure hope they fix these pro lens soon its so aggravating.

No one knows anything at either dollar general in Zachary and the one on plank rd is the saddest. The new cashier hollering, yes hollering over the whole store for the manager on duty and she was MIA while the line was about 8-10 ppl deep.

The cashiers at this store have a bad attitude! Whenever u come in this store if you dont have a d#$k swinging between your legs...theres an attitude! The females cant do their job for flirting with dudes. They're loud and ghetto. I should've gone to another store!

I stop here often before work to get snacks and drinks.. its usually cheaper to get them here than going to the larger stores like Walmart or winn dixie.. the store is usually stocked and neat.. the staff is helpful and nice.. you can pretty much get anything you need from here besides some food items like meats and vegetables...
