The employees at this location are incredibly rude they act like you bothering them if you ask a question. Then they closed the store 15 min early and did tell us. They closed the registers and myself and 3 other customers were NOT ALLOWED TO CHECK OUT and TOLD TO LEAVE. The manager was completely arrogant and the rudest of all. I know I had about $200.00 worth of stuff i guess dirt cheap doesent need my money if it were my store id be incredibly upset at how 3 customers were treated and disrespected by employees. The i would have a whole other issue about the lost revenue of the sales because i doubt this is the 1st or only time THIS MANAGER COST YOU MONEY DIRTCHEAP. The store is in disarray. Everything is crammed all over the place, and almost nothing is labeled for price. MOST ITEMS ARE BROKEN. I am severely disappointed and question weather I will shop with this buisness as a whole in the feature.

*** The furniture was 70% off if you are looking for something.... there was way more!***OMG.... I so love Mrs. Eugenie!!! She is a manager that runs a few departments in that store & if it weren't for her I don't think I would have visited 2 times in 2 weeks. I haven't been to Dirt cheap since they closed the Baton Rouge store. She made my experience SUPER PLEASANT, didn't mind stopping what she was doing to answer questions, & had overall superior WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!! UNFORTUNATELY I can not say the same for the store manager who never removed her cellphone from her ear the almost hour I was there taking her personal phone call. She was rude as hell & act like each customer was ruining her day. All the other staff members were extremely nice but I didn't get their names. That store manager seems like she should not be in charge or maybe could use more training at her job. Normally I wouldn't be on that side but I had a doctors appointment so I stumbled in there after & found nice stuff especially if you need something for your home.

I like the Dirt Cheap for the most part in terms of finding some sweet bargains but sometimes they over price the heck out of things. The store works like this: they put ridiculously high prices on their tags so that when you take it up to the counter and ring it up you feel like you're getting a deal because it's always cheaper/on sale for less than the tag. But that's aggravating because every section of the store has different sales, and things get moved around. And sometimes things aren't even as "on sale" as it says on the signs. There's a website where you can scan items based on the area you're in to check the price but that's not always accurate or helpful depending on the item. And sometimes I just find things that are priced about the same as I could find them at a normal store. Dirt cheap is sort of like a garage sale. They have constantly rotating stock (and employees) and sometimes you get a bargain and sometimes you leave without buying anything because you couldn't find anything worth spending your money on. The store is a constant chaotic mess but I'm sure that's partially because that's the style of the store (being full of salvaged items) and partially because of the customers.

Store was obviously having a stock / truck delivery day. As there was merchandise all over the store. Couldn't really move around that well but all in all the employees we're still able to assist customers.

By far the most disrespectful employees I have ever encountered. I was visiting often and spending my HARD earned money. I choose where to spend my money and YOU CHOOSE WHERE YOU WORK! IF YOU DON'T LIKE YOUR JOB, LEAVE. I DON'T LIKE THE ATTITUDE AND SERVICE I RECEIVED, SO I CHOOSE NOT TO SPEND MY MONEY THERE ANYMORE. I don't suggest this location. And your employees should put themselves in a customers shoes. If the tables were turned, I guarantee you they would want to void items that are priced too high. I will never spend more than I planned to just to make your job easier. If anything you should be upset with the confusion on pricing when it's are in the wrong location. Not everyone has a phone when shopping. Corporate should make sure the employees are able to handle a customers spending so the customer returns. I shop frequently at dirt cheap locations. Never returning to this one, so your profits are slightly decreased from now forward.

this place went from Wow to Bleh.The shelves are bare and they are changing from deep discount to a off brand clothing and items marked down from inflated retail prices to Walmart prices.Very disappointing

A key would have been nice for toolbox but love this store! Have been able to find pieces of things you cant find any where else. Manager Steve is fair in pricing as well as accessible. Would love a little more origination but can see the challenges in that with the inventory

The manager has no clue what’s going on? She has no respect and unfortunately no brainWhen I was cashing out the cashier asked her about pricing a (cup) she said (the manager) she took it out of a box I don’t know and I told her the cup was on the shelf I didn’t who gave you the right to talk to a customer like that but this place is so dirt and so cheap in crevice I would rather pay extra $s than the disrespect I’ve treated

I know things are cheap here. But sometimes it's very difficult to guess what's inside that box. It would be nice if there was a picture of the item on the box. It will help customers to decide whether to peak into the box or not.

Not my cup of tea ... don't have the patience for it if considering their floor offerings of electronics ... they have testing area for these floor electronics. You could negotiate a price on these potentially opened floor items with potentially missing parts. All sales are final. There is a secure electronics area that has a return policy.

The products are not always organized. All sales are final. If you go here you need time to look around and evaluate the product before you decide to buy it. Some items are damaged or have missing pieces. Bought an electric blanket and the controller doesn't work. It's a gamble when shopping there.

Unclear how your price work. Please explain how you price check?Also, why one store is higher than another on stuff that is a Tax write off from the companies that would otherwise throw most of it out?I use to salvage target, years ago, I saw the trash machine that they used. Until my non-profit started picking it up, they trashed the stuff and write it off.I don't mine shopping in your store.It's a great thing not to see good stuff trashed. But, to over price it and get a 100% profit, off of must of it, that's wrong....Are you supporting any nonprofits, Schools, or shelter... it so, please put up on store wall.... Thank You..

Junky as usual, but the manager is trying to fix the mess the CUSTOMERS make. I'll never understand customers tossing items around like their in a free for all battle Royale. This visit, they didn't have a good selection of items. Prices are way higher than they should be.

This place has great deals. You have to be prepared to search or dig to find them. Always best to make sure it's not broken or missing anything. If you're getting clothes it's best to make sure there are no holes or stains.It's not the easiest to find something in perfect condition but it happens!

The cashier accidentally rang up a product twice and I didn't realize it until I got home, so I went back & they wouldn't refund my money even after viewing tapes. I will not be back to this store.

This is a messy store. They get stuff that other stores and places can't or don't want to sell anymore . So you never can tell what you going to get if you find anything at all that you want. Toys right now or 40% off of their price. I like to shop to see what I can find.

The place has really gone downhill. Very little to purchase because everything is broken torn or just destroyed. Prices are higher than retail so 50% off is misleading

I love Dirt Cheap. It's "hit and miss". Sometimes I score some amazing deals, some days, not so much. Recently I got $80 "The Limited" Shirts for $3.00! Brand new with tags. Can't beat that. I've been visiting here for years and have gotten many nice priced deals. It gets unorganized because people people throw stuff here and there, but if you don't mind digging a little, it's worth it.

Found just a bottom and topsheet. They would not sell it to me because it was not a set.Why is it out if u wont sell it? I already had pillow sheets to match. That was the only items missing. Only queen too.No one could answer. Why????Someone "in charge" had to tell me they could not sell it. Then put it back out for sale. WHY IS IT OUT TO PURCHASE????? I am very dissapointed and frustraited to say the least.I am not a dumb person. I worked retail in a very high end store. I have an accounting degree. I taught school and am now retired. Just having a good day junkinlg as we call it.I was exsited to find a queen sise. Just friggin agrivated. I know they give prises out of there heads but would not. They have done that for me on several occasions.I USED to spend money there. Kinda po'd know but i still want the sheets😒.f
