Had used this salon in the past but stopped due to feeling like employees were rude and difficulty getting appointments. Returned after a year after winning a bid on a gift certificate to the salon at an auction for charity. It did not take long for me to remember why I stopped going. To begin, I called and left a message trying to schedule an appointment. No one ever returned my call. So over a week later, I submit a request online for an appointment. I was contacted with a span of dates for the following week. I selected one but never heard back. So I sent another email wondering if I needed the date "confirmed". The message returned was exactly "Bring baby on Wednesday :)". When I walked in the door on Wednesday, I was quickly informed that my appointment drop off was 7:30-8:00 (it was 10:00). When I explained that there was no time on the email sent, two ladies were quick to argue with me that I was wrong. What ever happened to customer service and the customer is right attitude? I was caught off guard at how adamant they were in putting the blame on me. I was informed that the it would cost anywhere from $55 on up and that they only accept cash or check and that once I was notified that she was ready I would only have 30 minutes to pick her up. Never was there a smile or a welcoming tone in their voice. I complied to all their rules and was there to pick my dog up within the time frame with cash in hand. I politely showed them the email that had been sent in effort to clear up the misunderstanding that I had walked away from earlier that day. The employee glanced at it and quickly responded "I didn't send that". ?? I called you. Grant it, when I got home after work there had been a message on the machine that morning asking if I was coming for my scheduled appointment. Guess I missed the phone ringing when I was in the shower but never had I received notification prior to that. I was told that it would cost $75!!!! $75 for a gentle, old 8 pound dog that I had cut short?????? When I inquired about the price since she told me it would be $55 on up she told me that in the first place she would have never told me a price before hand and it cost $10 extra due to matts and that it normally would cost $65. I will never return there and do not recommend them. The facility is beautiful but beyond that I am not impressed.
