Our first time using The Rovervelt for boarding and grooming. I love that you can download the doggie app and watch your pet 24/7 to see what they are doing! Also love how they post multiple pictures of your pet for fun time outside & inside. Mazie got groom by Cherie during her visit and looks absolutely beautiful. 10/10 would recommend and will be using again for boarding and grooming needs!!!

Great place! We had our Luna, a 2.5 year old German shepherd, trained here. I would board my dogs here without hesitation. And they have great grooming as well. Really reasonable prices for it. Highly recommend.Luna went rather wild and impulsive and came back super attentive and much more self-control. Highly recommend!I felt like all staff I interacted with cared for her as I would. And just so impressed with how much she learned and how easily it transferred to me, my young children and their Dad when he returned from a deployment.Again, highly recommend! Plus I love all the pictures they post daily🐾. This is one of the many pictures they took of my girl having a blast.

I brought my miniature poodle here twice to get groom and both times were a disappointment. Claimed my poodle kept growling and tried to bite her and therefore she couldn't do the poodle feet nor clip the nails. I thought it was because it was his first time at this one he was misbehaving. On the second visit I received the call he was ready so when I arrived I paid the $60 and to my disappointment she had only cut his midsection and claimed that was all he allowed her to do. My poodle have been getting groomed for 8yrs now and I never had that problem. I even asked if she could refund half of my money due to services I paid for not being rendered and she refused. Professional groomers should know how to handle dogs period. I will never bring my dog back there nor recommend them.

I LOVE the Rovervelt. It’s one of two places I feel comfortable leaving my doodle, Frenchie. She requires a lot of attention and I’m satisfied with the amount she gets here. Thank you for providing a great place for pups!

Prior to my uncle's death, he booked and took his dogs here 2x/month for a bath and playdate. Afterward, I continued until we took his beloved kids home with us. They miss their friends and the staff at Rovervelt and wish them a big hello. From Bandit and Brandi... we miss you.Service was wonderful, and our kids smelled wonderful after their baths, not dirty doggy scented.

Pictures of this place showed pups playing in a room and outside. I called in advance and was assured my old dog would be in those areas and not kenneled. I made arrangements to tour downtown New Orleans and then took our pup to Rovervelt. Again, I told them not to put her in kennel and was told they wouldn't. We drove to NO, and were fixing to board the bus when we got a call saying our dog had been put into a kennel and had gotten injured trying yto escape. Now they claimed all of the dogs were in kennels and none in the room or outside because they didn't have the staff to tend the pups. We had to abandon our bus tour, and the $100 non-refundable fee, and drive back to get Roxi. On top of that, they tried to charge me for the time she had been there. Obviously, I didn't pay anything.Bottom line: Don't believe the pictures. Take your pup elsewhere.After I wrote this review, the owner called me to discuss what I had been told and what my expectations had been. We discussed the issue, and though she was very apologetic, there was no offer to reimburse my tour or anything.

So I would highly recommend this facility to anyone I know, or ever meet and they need a place for their pup's! I am in town for work and brought my " child" along because before hand, did a lil reach, and this place was top of all in the NOLA Area. And what caught my eye,was a doggie daycare.. so I contacted them beforehand of my arrival I was able to set up an appointment, to go take a tour of this day-care and from the moment me and Sully walked in we felt at home. This facility is immaculate,smells like a house rather than a doggie daycare, ALL staff members I got to say hello to, were so respectful, smiling faces and there love for the pup's is unbelievable. Silly is at home here, and gets so happy when we turn down Sala Avenue. Thanks Rovervelt for being the BEST!!! 🐕

This is the best place I ever been with my baby. Sunshine just loved it. They groom her so beautifully.,and for the first time in a long time she wasn't shaking when I picked her up. I will definitely bring her back . The people there were really nice and Penny at the front desk was so very sweet and caring ,she want to make sure I was pleased . I felt like they took care of her like she was their's.Thank ya'll for taking care of my baby .

I took my pup there she's never had an issue. We travel and she needed a bath. I got her back wet, terrified and smelled so strong.She's never had a skin issue but now does. Her vet said it was from over use of what ever she sprayed her with. The front desk person was not educated on dogs and was very rude when she was proven wrong. I wasted 30 bucks and now have to deal with a rash . It's cost me more for the cure.

I have a Pembrook Corgi and I wanted to get him some training for mainly obedience. Ronell took my dog for 30 days. He was well taken care of and exactly loved to play with the other dogs. She. trained him sometimes twice a day and she did a fantastic job. We just brought him home and he’s a different dog. He listens to our commands and is very focused. I can’t thank Ronell and the crew enough. I highly recommend this facility for training your pet. It was worth the fee. I give them a 5 star rating 👍

I highly recommend this place. We had a special needs dog . We were trying to help the family and then realize the dog was in need. I called several places and no one would help me. I called Rovervelt . I explained the situationShe was not only willing to help me but wanted to help. Now George is a happy dog and I did get the seresto flea collar on the way back to his mom . I can't thank them enough. It did my heart good to know there is still good people in this world. Thank you to Peggy and all the people that helped George they truly care about dogs.

I have been bringing my pointer Finn here weekly for the past 7 months and let me tell you he absolutely loves it. The staff is amazing. I also love how you can watch them on the web cameras. Sometimes I watch them to much because I like watching him play with other dogs. I also love seeing all the pictures on Facebook every afternoon of all the fun they had. IHighly recommend this place to anyone. You pup will be well taken care of.

We take our dogs here for grooming and boarding, and the dogs love it. Great and friendly staff, fair prices.We also had our dog trained here, and they did an amazing job.

This place has been great. We boarded our 50 lb dog there for about 3 days. We were able to watch him, via cameras, while he slept, played outside and inside with other dogs. We have used them a few times as a doggie daycare. They have grooming and vet services available. He comes back home happy, tired and always happy to go back. This is a highly recommended place to bring your dog.

We love Rovervelt, Gumbeaux has been attending daycare here for 2years!! He loves it and the staff is amazing. Gumbeaux absolutely loves Michael he us wonderful with the dogs and shows them love and affection. I always know he is well taken care of.

Great new place for our furry friends!! My two English Bulldogs, Meatball & Paghetti gave it two paws up after their visit today. They got a bath and did a little mingling with the other pups. As it was new to them, I'm sure they'll rule the place like they do my man cave in the near future. Definitely going back. Clean, well thought out and a great passionate staff.

They do such a great job with boarding, which is the only service we’ve used so far. I love that they post pictures of the dogs playing and have a camera so I can see our dog while she’s in the kennel!

This is absolutely one of the best places to take/leave your pups! Our Beck girl loves going each time we bring her. When she comes back she is completely wore out. You can watch them on camera through out their time there. The staff is very tentative and reliable.

I recently retracted a 5 star review as this matter was pressing on my heart as my pup looks likes he has alopecia. Negative review as my pup possibly was knicked on top of his head and his wound was covered up strategically with a hairbow on top of his wound. After a couple of days bow was removed only to find a oozing sore underneath bow which required medical attention and before me even taking him to the vet I called the Rovervelt to inform them of injury and no one cared and nothing was ever done as entire staff were very casual about my fur baby injury. Mgmt was notified and absolutely nothing was done to assure me that this will never happen again.I did take him back for another bath and was charged more and told this was Sherry's the groomers fee as she would not come out to talk to me or rectify the matter at hand.

I honestly can't say enough good things about this place. My Lucy has a blast every time she goes and comes home whipped! Watch the cameras and you'll see the dogs flock to the staff when they walk in. There's a reason the dogs love them! Thank you for taking such loving care of our little diva!

This is a great place to leave your dog for a vacation. I have used this facility twice since they opened last year. Each time my dog(s) were well treated and cared for by the attentive staff. In fact my Golden did not want to come home!!! I highly recommend this business and will use them again in the future.

Just don't ** update I was reached out by the owner and was assured that how I had seen this place was not how she runs a business and she would be fixing any problems she was having. She seemed very genuine and also seemed like she cared alot so I just might give this place another shot because of it. I don't usually do this so she really made an impression and said I could come and tour the whole place with her if I so wanted so transparency is a top priority for her as it seems. I had just went on a terrible day and on issues she was not aware of.
