Fresh fish and seafood is what you'll find here. Along with some seasoning (Fish Fry, Crab Boil, BBQ Shrimp, etc) You're not going to find better prices on fresher shrimp and oysters anywhere! They've got fresh local and fresh farmed shrimp, fresh oysters and a large selection of frozen fillets of many types of fish. All at great prices!

I always go to Amy's Seafood Mart, I have shopped at other vendors at the Seafood lot and was not always happy. Amy's has always been great, fresh product, great service. Only once did I have an issue and I called, the first thing I was told: "I am sorry" WOW, then "can you come back and we will correct it "? Again WOW! I always purchase and will continue to be loyal to Amy's as her staff is always customer service orientated and so pleasant and helpful. Her prices are very competitive if not the best in the lot.

Reasonable prices, fresh Gulf shrimp, friendly service. We were having a friend's reunion and bought 12lbs to use for apps and shrimp tacos. They take cash and credit cards. Lot has ample parking.

Sweetest staff with great recommendations and friendly conversation. The oysters we bought later in the day were already shucked but ginormous. Super fresh and even great fried after a day. Also got Redfin that was really good. They also let us know they ship to different airports which you can pick up there for same day fresh seafood.

There are many vendors in this seafood market which is kind of like a flea market but one that sells only seafood, mostly fresh, some frozen and I believe all from the Gulf of Mexico.You can stroll around the place visiting each vendor as we did, it’s awesome, fun and a lot of nice people.These folks here at Amy’s are one of our favorite!Very polite people, friendly and make sure that you get your moneys worth!There were no funky seafood smells etc.Thank you for these almost lobster size shrimp! Yum!

Fresh, fresh, and fresh. Best shrimp I have ever eaten. Buy in the quantity you want, and they will ship to anywhere. Prices are competitive, and staff is helpful and friendly. In my case, they were patient as I asked many questions, having never been to a fishmonger previously.They have some supplies for cleaning, cooking, and tips for storing.A wide variety of seasonal fish and seafood is readily available.I will be placing an order for seafood after I get home for a huge boil pot meal with friends.

Whenever I'm on the coast, I go in search of fresh shrimp. Not from a market, but from the boats. Asking around to different locals, we were finally led to a strip righy outside of New Orleans, where vendors were selling all types of seafood. I landed at Amys because I wanted to buy a large amount of shrimp for a party and Amy did me right. Fantastic prices, amd the iced and bagged the shrimp for me per my preference, because we were driving to Memphis. She also ships, so I know that we'll be doing business again soon

We stayed in the Bayou Seg State Park for 4 nights and purchased shrimp and crabs, crawl fishes every day by different group members from Amy’s seafood market. We found out that the quality of the shrimp and crawl fish were not consistent. There was only one day which had very fresh shrimp and we were able to get the black line easily by tooth pick. It means that the shrimp is really fresh. We steamed those and the way we cooked needs fresh shrimp to make it taste fresh. However once the shrimp was not fresh and we can easily find out. So I guess you have to constantly try different days and let them know you will come back to get really good shrimp? I don’t know. Also the heads of the shrimp were separated from the bodies. I don’t know why, but it definitely was some tricky on it. Some day the heads were on and some days they don’t. I can only say I forgive.
